Avaliação dos processos de tratamento do glicerol proveniente da produção do biodiesel

The substitution of diesel by biodiesel meets the current scenario to increase the consumption of alternative energy sources promoting sustainable development of a country. However, the production of biodiesel concurrently generates the formation of glycerine in the process is a by-product. The main application of glycerine is in the food industry, cosmetics, soaps, pharmaceuticals, among others, but these segments are not capable of absorbing the generated volume of glycerine, whereas the total volume of the biodiesel produced about 10% correspond to glycerine. Glycerine obtained from the transesterification reaction (necessary for production of biodiesel) triglycerides and alcohol contains certain impurities such as water, salts, esters, alcohol, and residual oil, which decrease the value. Thus, the purification process or the direct use of glycerine become essential to make it competitive biodiesel production process. This work aims to evaluate the different processes of purification and the use of glycerine obtained as by-product in the production of biodiesel. The research was theoretical, based on technical articles and theses published on this subject, and from these databases was established a summary of the most important processes

Casos de ensino relacionados à educação física escolar: uma produção dos alunos do ensino médio

Teaching cases are records, through written narratives, of an academic episode or incident, they appear in educational scenery as a rich strategy not only for the teacher's conformation but also for their investigation. The bibliography shows that young students are still not very much investigated and it contributes to the establishment of negative images of this social subject. In this sense, the objective of this work is to analyze the stories and episodes, called teaching cases, in narrative style, written by students from High School about their physical education classes. The participants of this study are High School students from two public schools from two cities in the countryside of São Paulo state. The researcher stayed in the schools for nine months and in this meantime she made contact with the students, asking, for the ones who showed interest, the construction of teaching cases. For this interested students, the researcher explained researcher explained what teaching cases are, as well as, she presented a template to guide them in the production. At the end of this process, twenty teaching cases were delivered to the researcher. They were analyzed under the qualitative approach, valuing the expressive wealth in the narratives, complemented by the interviews with the authors. Inset the mosaic of narratives and interviews, showing a variety of experiences and possibilities of distance and approximation of the students to the physical education classes, we can indicate that from the 20 cases, only one was set as a total distance from the physical education classes (this is the student's situation since she was in the second grade from elementary school). Mentioning the positive experiences and the approximation to the physical education classes, the association of teaching cases and interviews showed that seven students lived the context and until today present an affective proximity to the classes. Utilização de alambique de aço inoxidável na produção de aguardente de líquor de laranja: efeito na formação de carbamato de etila

O Brasil é reconhecido mundialmente como o maior produtor e exportador de suco de laranja do mundo. O líquor de laranja é um dos principais subprodutos da indústria cítrica, rico em açúcares e destinado, quase que exclusivamente para a produção de ração animal, já que seu descarte certamente causaria problemas ambientais. Com o intuito de ter um melhor aproveitamento deste subproduto, foi desenvolvido um novo tipo de destilado obtido a partir da fermentação do líquor de laranja. Dado o enorme volume de líquor e considerando-se também o enorme volume de fermento de descarte da indústria cervejeira (160 milhões de litros/ano) ainda viável, está sendo objeto de estudo a utilização deste fermento na obtenção da aguardente de líquor de laranja. Nesse sentido, foram obtidas amostras de aguardente de líquor de laranja, utilizando-se de técnicas tradicionais de produção de cachaça, sendo o líquor fermentado de fermento que é descarte da indústria cervejeira. Dessa forma, foram avaliados a viabilidade da levedura de descarte da indústria cervejeira, o teor de sólidos solúveis, o teor de cobre e carbamato de etila na aguardente de líquor de laranja obtida utilizando alambique de aço inoxidável.

Blogs para adolescentes e a articulação dos PCNs na produção escrileitora do ensino médio

The new National Curriculum of Basic Education in Brazil Parameters (PCNs- br) propose the curriculum reformulation of the High School in thematic areas encompassing competences and abilities. In this aspect the goal of this article is to verify the effects and meaning of the speeches posted on Folhateen's Blog (http://blogdofolha teen.folha.blog.uol.com.br/), to analyze if the practices of reading and writing, taken in this application, can be contemplated on the basic goals of the PCNs from the Languages area, codes and its technologies. It wonders of the using of media blogs for High School students as articulators of the Portuguese Language contents' study. It is possible to verify that the blogs offer its own languages and the expression of knowledge and power. They put the high school student before the articulation of several cross-cutting themes that promotes the interdisciplinarity. It points the need of a teacher's support so in a matted discursive voices the student won't be distracted, drift and paraphrase, but the interpretation and "new" methods of reading and polysemy. The theoretical framework is composed by the authors Foucault, Pecheux, Orlandi and Coracini.

Atenção Psicossocial e Psicologia: um mapeamento da produção científica

By the end of the 1970´s, begins the Psychiatric Reform Movement, whose development was the beginning of the construction of a new model, here termed Psychosocial Attention, to substitute the traditional psychiatric model. As such, aspires to be a process of paradigm shift and, therefore, requires transformations in the fields: theoretical-conceptual, technical-assistance, legal-political e sociocultural. This qualitative study composes a research which sought to ascertain the scientific production on the topic conducted by psychology, from the implementation of the Brazilian National Health System and the creation of new services to mental health care. In this sense, it proposed to investigate how the papers published in journals of psychology found in the database LILACS, since 1990, contribute to the process of building a new model that actually replace the so-called traditional psychiatric model.

O som, o sentido e o gênero Giallo: análise do filme Prelúdio Para Matar (1975), de Dario Argento

Considerado exemplo modelar do gênero giallo, estilo exclusivamente italiano e que envolve a solução de um mistério relacionado a uma série de assassinatos, o filme Prelúdio Para Matar (1975), do cineasta Dario Argento (1940-), é o objeto central deste projeto de pesquisa. Para esta pesquisa se dá especial atenção à investigação da trilha sonora, que, parcialmente, junto à composição visual, formalizam as dimensões de estrutura e sentido desse filme. Serão esclarecidas informações introdutórias sobre o som e composição para o cinema de horror e o ambiente de produção de filmes na Itália; os fatores concomitantes e anteriores a produção do objeto de estudo. No tocante à trilha, serão analisados dois elementos centrais da narrativa: (1) a música, com seus códigos específicos de composição sonora; (2) os efeitos sonoros que projetam ao espectador o reconhecimento ou não de determinados sons. Partindo da premissa que o som ainda é um elemento fílmico pouco explorado nas narrativas audiovisuais, esta pesquisa estabelece uma hipótese, a qual pode ser enunciada nos seguintes termos: a trilha musical e os efeitos de som, presentes no filme Prelúdio para matar, são elementos centrais para a articulação do gênero discursivo giallo nesse caso, co-participando, de modo visível ao espectador, com o controle, a estruturação e as estratégias de narração ali presentes

Crescimento e produção do maracujazeiro amarelo, sob diferentes fontes e doses de fósforo em cobertura

Brazil is the largest world producer of yellow passion fruit, a fruit crop which is exigent in nutrients, although little studied in relation to phosphorus fertilizing, fundamental on plant establishment. An experiment was carried out during the period of March/2010 to April/2011 in Remigio County, Paraiba State, Brazil, in order to evaluate the vegetative and productive attributes of yellow passion fruit plants under different sources and doses of phosphorus. Treatments were distributed in randomized blocks in tree replications and twelve plants by plot using the factorial design 2 x 5 referring the sources of superphosphate triple and superphosphate simple at levels P2O5 of 0, 12, 18, 24 and 30 g cave(-1). The following variables were recorded: stem diameter, number of productive branches, number of fruits per plant, fruit mass and fruit yield. The sources and doses of phosphorus affected growth and fruit production of yellow passion plants. The triple superphosphate is the most phosphorus efficient source for growth and fruit production of yellow passion fruit. The triple superphosphate dose which promoted the maximum yield of yellow passion fruit is 42.86 g.
