How companies can sell their surplus production capacity of electric power in Brazil? This work was developed from the question presented and focusing on clarification of procedures to enter the Brazilian electricity market by providing basic guidelines based on resolutions by National Agency of Electric Energy, National System Operator procedures and rules of the Assembly of Electric Energy Commercialization. It features subsidy to companies that fit this profile to evaluate the possibility to sell their surplus electricity. The general aim was to analyze the procedures and the necessary steps to make this sale happen. Was developed through a literature review where an overview of the Brazilian electric sector and a case study of a company that has excess capacity of electricity, but doesn’t make its marketing. Resulted in the expected clarification as well as the incentive for companies through the information presented, the entry in this trade since power is still crucial to the country's economic growth and ensure its availability in quantity demanded is a challenge of the utmost importance for satisfactory results are achieved economic development contributing to the progress of our society

Insuficiência renal crônica em cães

The kidneys, for his anatomical and functional characteristics, are sensitive to affections that take the liberation of renal toxins or the blood supply, causing irreversible injuries to his renoparenchymal tissue that is substituted by fibrous tissue. Before the progression to the phase of IR, the animal shows up practically without symptoms, but for the gradual increase of the urinary and of the ingestion of water. The reduction of the degree of renal function leads to alterations system compensatory for the accumulation of substances that would suffer renal excretion. The progression of IR leads to the phase of the syndrome urêmica. In this phase the animal presents innumerable clinical signs that can take it to the death. The treatment is symptomatic and dietetic, but depending on the phase not much efficient. Because of being progressive and insidious, the IRC demands the preparation of campaigns and programs of explanation for the veterinary doctors who aim for the consciousness and/or sensibility of the owners to carry out periodic examinations of selection that precociously detect the renal dysfunction. The diagnosis in the beginning IR enables the efficiency of the treatment in stop or slowing his progression, extending the time and quality of life of the patient

Ao inserir a nota, o tradutor está avaliando a necessidade do esclarecimento que pretende prestar e, automaticamente, julgando a capacidade do leitor em compreender o texto. Questões conflitantes para quem traduz, considerando que as notas são, segundo a crítica, o meio de maior visibilidade para o tradutor enquanto escritor. A discussão proposta, neste trabalho, se restringe à tradução da obra ¿Donde estuvistes de noche? de Clarice Lispector, traduzido por Cristina Peri Rossi, na Espanha.

This work is aimed at examining the paradox of modernity, from the opposition between Enlightenment ideals and historical events that followed, especially during the twentieth century, as well as to study the impact of mismatch on Bioethics, adopting as a reference epistemological critical theory of the Frankfurt School. Bioethics presents itself as a shaky science, devoid of references, and primarily impacted by the emptying of ethics. The reason desubjectivation established by and exacerbated by modern enlightenment, was able to erect dark scary for humanity and promote barbaric practices in the name of a science that promises order and progress. This paradox and the fallacy of reason enlightened by scientific advances are wide open, always accompanied by ethical and moral returns scary. Some examples are the surveys conducted in Tuskegee and Guatemala, and treated in this study, which show how far modern rationality and all its consequences

Projeto de intervenção em educação sexual com educadoras e alunos de uma pré-escola

Childhood sexuality is a polemic theme among pre-school educators. This text describes an extension project that aimed to observe the manifestation of children’s sexuality in a pre-school and to intervene by offering a space for dialogue, reflection and better understanding about childhood sexuality. The participants were seven teachers and whole group of children from a selected pre-school. It was observed (1) among the educators: the different games applied according to gender; how tolerant the teachers were regarding to boys bad behavior; vigilance against the homosexuality and constant motivation to female vanity and beauty. (2) Among the children: sexist stereotypes; manifestations of racism and prejudice; curiosity and interest about the body and sexuality and the use of insulting words concerning body beauty. The teacher education discussed theoretical and practical issues about the development of the sexuality in the childhood and the sexual education of their students. The project observed that a sexual education project can be put into practice in a pedagogical and ethical way in a pre-school environment.

The oral and oropharyngeal cancer is aggressive and, in Brazil, the incidence is considered one of the world’s tallest, the most common of head and neck. It affects males more intensively and 70% of cases are in adults over 50 years of age. It is located usually on the floor of the mouth and tongue. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to report a case of male patient, 78 years of age, leukoderma who sought hospital care. Reported frequent smoking and alcoholism. On physical examination headgear, there was the presence of lymph node fixed, painless 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter in the submandibular region. Physical examination intraoral ulcer was found at about 5 cm at its greatest extent, localized to the left oral floor region of the oropharynx, reddish, hardened edges, surface and bottom corrugated carton. The differential diagnosis suggested was traumatic ulcer, paracoccidioidomycosis and squamous cell carcinoma. The approach employed was obtained by incisional biopsy and the piece sent to histopathological analysis, confirming the case of squamous cell carcinoma. The treatment consisted in clarifying the patient about the disease and the need to search for an oncology center. It is concluded that the oral clinical examination is accurate in all major injuries to mouth, even if the chief complaint does not focus on this. In individuals at high risk examination should be systematic and individuals with suspicious lesions should be referred to specialist consultation.

O momento oportuno para a abordagem ortodontica no tratamento da classe II

Because it still brings polemic among the professionals, it was mention once more, in this literature review, the theme that aims to define the appropriate timing to approach the bad occlusions of Class II, and also when it would the right opportunity to treat them, in way that would convey to the patient consistent, stable results in a long term. These are important aspects to be taken into consideration by orthodontists, either by those who defend the early treatment or by those who defend the late treatment. Therefore, the present study aims to aid the clarification of daily doubts regarding this aspect.

This article is a reflection about the contribution the social communication media can provide to the public debate about the environmental concerns. The Agenda XXI and several other UN documents call to the need to inform and educate the society. On the other hand, the Communication theories always have in common the imperative of the emitter to be understood by the recipient, in such a way that they can become change agents and not only observers. The first step is, therefore, to study the environmental question, adequately focus the theme and convey clarification. It is not what happened, for instance, with some technical concepts from the area, in particular sustainability, that came about in the 70 s to guide public policies at the service of the life preservation and specially, future and today, utilized even as a parameter of preservation of profit and advantage resulting from exploitation of nature.Key-Words Theory of Communication - Environmental Sustainability MCM
