I arbetets undersökningsskede delades stugorna upp enligt Talo-80 nomenklatur i enskilda byggnadsdelar, varefter byggnadsdelarna prissattes. En tidtabell gjordes när alla byggnadsdelar var uppdelade och med hjälp av områdets litteratur räknades den effektiva byggtiden ut. Dispositionsplanen gjordes genom att studera områdets facklitteratur och själva byggplatsen.

We study the dynamics of shear-band formation and evolution using a simple rheological model. The description couples the local structure and viscosity to the applied shear stress. We consider in detail the Couette geometry, where the model is solved iteratively with the Navier-Stokes equation to obtain the time evolution of the local velocity and viscosity fields. It is found that the underlying reason for dynamic effects is the nonhomogeneous shear distribution, which is amplified due to a positive feedback between the flow field and the viscosity response of the shear thinning fluid. This offers a simple explanation for the recent observations of transient shear banding in time-dependent fluids. Extensions to more complicated rheological systems are considered.

Kirjanen on Michael Michaeliksen, Naantalin kappalaisen, Mikael Agricolan aikalaisen ja oppilaan käsikirjoitus, joka voidaan ajoittaa 1500-luvun lopulle. Kyseessä on ns. sekakirjanen, joka sisältää eri kirkkolaulujen traditioista syntyneitä sävelmiä erikielisine sanoituksineen. Kirjaseen kuuluu mm. luterilainen graduale, ruotsalainen kyriale, latinalainen hymnikokoelma, Te Deum käännöksineen ja muutamia muita kappaleita, joita joko seurakunta tai kuoro lauloivat kirkoissa.
A liturgical miscellany, consisting of a tonarium, parts of a graduale (including a kyriale), sequentiarium and a hymnarium, produced by one scribe, probably for his own use, in the last quarter of the sixteenth century. Complete critical and codicological description of the book and its contents available in the Codices Fennici -database.
Contents: Fols. 1r–8v, 9r–v, tonarium (defect); Fols. 10r–14v, sequentiarium in Latin (defect); Fols. 15r–24r, Te Deum in Latin (defect), O Jumala sinua me kijtämme (Te Deum in Finnish), O Gudh wij lofwe tig och bekenne tig (Te Deum in Swedish), O Gudh wij lofwe tig, o Gudh wij tacke tig (rhymed Te Deum in Swedish) and O Jumal sinua kijtäm (rhymed Te Deum in Finnish); Fols. 24r–32r, Kyriale in Swedish; Fols. 32r–40v, sequentiarium in Latin; Fols. 41r–42v, 43br–v, 43r–v, 44r–56v, hymnarium in Latin; Fol. [b]. "| co | side [verso] |orum | signifi |"; Fols. [c–k], fragments without legible text.

The goal of the thesis is to make a supplier evaluation using analytical hierarchy process. Before the supplier evaluation is performed there will be introduced the principles of purchasing which gives a viewpoint to the supplier evaluation and management. The thesis will also give an overview on quality, performance and forecasts which are very important to the supplier evaluation and future improvements. The chapter which describes analytical hierarchy process will show the reader what exactly is analytical hierarchy process and how can it be utilized in supplier evaluation. In the later stages, thesis will provide information about the case company EADS Secure Networks Oy, the processes applied there towards purchasing and how the analytical hierarchy process is applied in practise. In the end of the thesis there will be an overview about each supplier’s strong and weak points as well as some comments and ideas about developing also EADS Secure Networks procedures to a direction which would benefit the whole customer–supplier–chain.

The objective of this study is to resolve how customer retention is managed in Finnish health and fitness clubs, and how is this comparable with the theoretical aspects of customer retention. It is also discussed how the process leading to customer retention is handled, and what the essential elements of customer retention and loyalty are specifically in the health and fitness club industry. In addition, it is discussed to what extent do health and fitness club companies implement the elements of customer retention in their businesses. Finally, there is discussion about the relationship and priority between the behavioral and attitudinal methods of creating retention in the companies. The data was collected by interviewing the management of six health and fitness clubs from different geographical regions in Finland. Results indicated that the most important constructs concerning customer retention were switching barriers, pricing strategy, competitive aspect, corporate image, service quality, employee retention, and customer satisfaction. In addition, the implementation of customer retention was found to vary between different sized companies and companies from different geographical locations. Moreover, it was discovered that the companies put more effort in constructs that are considered to create customer loyalty instead of retention.

We study how the combination of long and short laser pulses can be used to induce torsion in an axially chiral biphenyl derivative (3,5-difluoro-3 ,5 -dibromo-4 -cyanobiphenyl). A long, with respect to the molecular rotational periods, elliptically polarized laser pulse produces 3D alignment of the molecules, and a linearly polarized short pulse initiates torsion about the stereogenic axis. The torsional motion is monitored in real-time by measuring the dihedral angle using femtosecond time-resolved Coulomb explosion imaging. Within the first 4 picoseconds (ps), torsion occurs with a period of 1.25 ps and an amplitude of 3◦ in excellent agreement with theoretical calculations. At larger times, the quantum states of the molecules describing the torsional motion dephase and an almost isotropic distribution of the dihedral angle is measured. We demonstrate an original application of covariance analysis of two-dimensional ion images to reveal strong correlations between specific ejected ionic fragments from Coulomb explosion. This technique strengthens our interpretation of the experimental data

The purpose of this research is to describe how the scope of internationalization affects partner management in software companies. The effects are analyzed separately for small and large companies. Partner management is described from three perspectives: who should manage partnerships, how they should be managed and how does the context affect the choice of management style. Inductive case study is selected as research design. Eventually four case companies are chosen. The findings reveal that the size of the company affects the volume whereas the scope of internationalization affects the choice of partner management activities. Companies with high scope of internationalization required a more formal yet flexible management system whereas companies with low scope of internationalization relied more on the informal relations and personal management.

This thesis discusses the different possibilities to brand and promote a patented prescription lifestyle drug through different marketing communications practices. This thesis aims in explaining how branding procedures can be built in circumstances, where the legislative environment is strickt and furthermore, the environment consists of both B-to-B and B-to-C market characteristics simultaneously.
