O FUNDEB e a municipalização do ensino fundamental em São Paulo, novo fundo, velhas tendências

Este artigo tem como objetivo precípuo analisar como o processo de municipalização do ensino fundamental, deflagrado no Estado de São Paulo a partir de meados dos anos 1990, se comporta no contexto do FUNDEB. Com base em levantamento e análise bibliográficos e documentais acerca da temática em tela, recuperam-se, inicialmente, a história e os desdobramentos de tal processo, antecipado/favorecido por medidas adotadas em nível estadual e fortemente induzido pelo agora extinto FUNDEF. Na sequência, demonstra-se que apesar do advento do FUNDEB, sistemática de financiamento voltada à cobertura de toda a educação básica, o processo de municipalização do ensino fundamental se mantém em curso no Estado de São Paulo. Mesmo representando significativo avanço em relação ao Fundo precedente, o Fundo vigente continua também a induzir, na prática, a municipalização da etapa escolar em questão. Por fim, revela-se que, em tempos de FUNDEB, o referido processo segue caracterizando-se pela permanência de marcantes tendências registradas durante a vigência do Fundo anterior: (1) adesão municipal fundada no enfoque economicista; (2) notória preferência das administrações municipais pelos anos/séries iniciais; e (3) segmentação do ensino fundamental.

Vimos do esporte e só para ele viveremos: notas sobre uma revista ilustrada na Salvador dos anos 1920

Fundada em 1921, a revista Semana Sportiva cobria a vida esportiva da cidade, entrevistava atletas e dirigentes de clubes, além de publicar textos recomendando aos seus leitores a prática de esportes, indício de que as atividades atléticas e a estética corporal eram valorizadas num contexto em que circulavam discursos eugênicos. O artigo objetiva discutir de que maneira o periódico inseriu-se na nascente imprensa esportiva de Salvador e, com base em uma amostra do seu conteúdo, perceber em que medida o semanário contribuiu para fomentar o desenvolvimento de uma cultura esportiva na cidade. Espera-se, ainda, evidenciar como a configuração da revista guardava relações com o processo de segmentação temática da imprensa de Salvador, decorrência do aumento do público leitor e suas demandas. 

Rindo das piadas, manipulando a língua

Neste artigo, ao explicitar, por meio de análise em domínios prosódicos, os mecanismos fonológicos presentes em textos chistosos, argumenta- se que a dupla segmentação de uma mesma cadeia fônica envolve operações epilingüísticas que ultrapassam o nível da palavra e exigem a descoberta da ambigüidade sintática. A análise dos chistes ainda revela não só uma estratégia de dizer o que é proibido socialmente (sexualidade, racismo), mas também o trabalho do sujeito que opera com sua própria língua, que não é um código perfeito, mas um sistema heterogêneo que participa de um conjunto maior de instrumentos de significação.

Competência de juízo moral dos estudantes de medicina: um estudo piloto

The authors conducted a cross-sectional short-term study using Lind's Moral Judgment Test (MJT) to compare the moral judgment competence (C-score) among students in the first and eighth semesters from a medical school in the Northeast region of Brazil. This study also evaluated the influence of such factors as age and gender on moral competence. A difference equal to or greater than 5.0 points (absolute effect-size) on the C-score was considered significant. A regression of moral judgment competence among the students in their eighth semester in relation to the students in the first semester (C-score: 20.5 and 26.2 points, respectively) was observed. In the analysis of the students' performances in terms of MJT dilemmas, the phenomenon of moral segmentation was observed in both semesters, and the students performed better on the worker's dilemma than on the doctor's dilemma. Among students in the same semester of study, older students had lower C-scores. When comparing performance by gender, there was no significant difference between men's and women's C-scores. The finding of regression or stagnation in moral competence among the medical students demands deep reflection by those who work with the political-pedagogical projects of medical schools and by the entire faculty, in order to seek strategies to reverse this condition.

Web e jornalismo especializado: análise de conteúdo do portal jurídico Migalhas

Considering the context that integrates the internet and the information, the present paper has aimed to analyze the content from the juridical portal named Migalhas, more specifically the daily information–newsletter that is sent to its readers. Starting by the passage on the pathway of the internet, cyber culture and web journalism, and some concepts of news production, it is aimed to describe and evaluate, from the content of the proposed analyzes by Laurence Bardin, about general aspects, strategies and bulletin samples. Bringing a little of its history and description of the journalistic and news main points. The present paper approaches how these criteria, news value, and tools are chosen and used to reach the effectiveness of the proposal to take specific and fast information to the readers. Questions regarded to the opinionated character from the content were also stated as a way to evaluate its expressiveness

This experimental project focused on a specialization in journalism that is becoming increa-singly present in the media: the gastronomic journalism. The aim was to understand the speci-ficities of segmentation in the news and editorial spreads profile area for deepening the dining experience in contemporary society, considering the contribution of information to maintain proper eating habits and cultural enrichment of the reader. Avaliação do método de classificação baseada no objeto em imagens de alta resolução espacial aplicado para o monitoramento de faixa de dutos: estudo de caso no entorno da refinaria de Capuava em Mauá - SP

The metropolitan region of São Paulo is the most populous of the country, this happens because of its great importance in the national economy and the job opportunities that are offered to the population. These factors result in intense population growth and urban expansion, reaching some non-habitable places of the metropolis, as areas of pipelines, which are very important for the transportation of natural gas, oil and its derivatives. Before the population growth of the region, these sites were unoccupied, do not presenting problems for the population. However, with the disorderly occupation is generated great anthropogenic pressure on the pipeline stitches, causing risks to people who are around them. Therefore it is extremely important to monitor the strip of pipelines through products and techniques of remote sensing and geoprocessing, enabling, through high spatial resolution images, identification of objects or phenomena that occur on Earth's surface that can alter the functioning and safety of pipelines. Therefore, this study aims to monitor a stretch of the area of the pipeline mesh GASPAL/OSVAT and Capuava Refinery (RECAP), located on the outskirts of the metropolitan area of São Paulo in the city of Mauá, who suffer great human pressure, proving thus the techniques of remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) as effective tools for monitoring phenomena occurred in urban areas of great complexity. The monitoring was done by object-based classification applied in orbital images Ikonos II and RapidEye, of high spatial resolution and, image processing, detection of objects, segmentation, classification and editing were developed through the eCognition and ArcGis softwares. A produção de texto no ensino fundamental: uma experiência pedagógica

From a diagnostic on the learning of written text, this research aimed to carry out educational activities aimed at textual production, performing operation and activity of reflection on texts written by students in a learning situation of parallel recovery, aiming to improve the standard textuality of his written production. These actions were guided from the conception of language as social practice and discourse and, later, a survey was made in the standard of textuality textual productions resulting from such actions. 5 students participated in the research of a 4th grade of elementary school, a School of Duartina peripheral zone integrating the local school system of that city. The textual productions written by these students were analyzed from three categories: common mistakes in the process of literacy, with subdivisions: phonetic transcription, dialetação, hollow hipossegmentação or vocabulary, or improper separation hiperssegmentação, overcorrection, exchange, omission or addition letters, phonemes homorganic exchange; factors textual and contextual, in which it reviewed the following factors: coherence, cohesion and story elements, clarity, in which category were analyzed: the segmentation of text into paragraphs, grammar errors of different nature, use of direct and indirect speech. The results of the intervention and ongoing analysis of data shows that there has been considered developments in the performance of the written production of the research subjects

Relações públicas estratégicas: o uso de mídias sociais para obtenção de resultados no gabinete nacional da ordem Demolay 2011/2012

This monograph covers the issues related to the understanding of the new organization's cenary of the globalized society, computerized, which was reflected even within organizations. In this sense, we present a reflection on the theme of segmentation of audiences, especially based on the proposition of France (2008), regarded as important within the professional activities of Public Relations. Issues related to information technology, particularly the history of the internet and social media are presented as a reflection of this new company and also as strategic tools for the establishment of a fruitful relationship with the public organizations. All topics presented will support the monograph's study objects, presenting the Brazilian DeMolay Order, focusing on the challenges faced by the management of the National Bureau 2011/2012, that through integrated actions of communication and relationships, especially the virtual environment, resulted in the growth participant's numbers in the activities proposed by the national administration

Classificação e quantificação de tecidos Biológicos para construção de fantomas pediátricos

Paediatric diagnostic radiology can be considered as a separate specialty and with distinct characteristics of the radiology applied in adult patients. This in reason of the variability in the anatomical structures size and bigger sensitivity of tissues. The literature present in its majority methodologies for segmentation and tissue classification in adult patients, and works on tissue quantification are rare. This work had for objective the development of a biological tissue classifier and quantifier algorithm, from histograms, and that converts the quantified average thickness of these tissues for its respective simulator materials. The results will be used in the optimization process of paediatrics images, in future works, since these patients are frequently over exposed to the radiation in the repeated attempts of if getting considered good quality radiographic images. The developed algorithm was capable to read and store the name of all the archives, in the operational system, to filter artifacs, to count and quantify each biological tissues from the histogram of the examination, to obtain the biological tissues average thicknesses and to convert this value into its respective simulator material. The results show that it is possible to distinguish bone, soft, fat and pulmonary tissues from histograms of tomographic examinations of thorax. The quantification of the constituent materials of anthropomorphic phantom made by the algorithm, compared with the data of literature shows that the biggest difference was of 21,6% for bone. However, the literature shows that variations of up to 30% in bone thickness do not influence of significant form in the radiographic image quality. The average thicknesses of biological tissues, quantified for paediatrics patients, show that one phantom can simulate patients with distinct DAP ranges, since variations... O aprimoramento de um software de estúdio virtual por meio de técnicas de matting digital e registro de objetos virtuais

A virtual studio system can use technologies as augmented reality and digital matting to decrease production costs at the same time it provides the same resources of a conventional studio. With this, it’s possible for the current studios, with low cost and using conventional devices, to create productions with greater image quality and effects. Some difficulties are recurrent in virtual studio applications that use augmented reality and digital matting. The virtual objects registration in augmented reality techniques suffer from problems caused by optical distortions in the camera, errors in the marker tracking system, lack of calibration on the equipments or on the environment (lighting, for example), or even by delays in the virtual objects display. On the other hand, the digital matting’s main problem is the real-time execution to preview the scene, which must have optimized processing speed at the same time while maintain the best image quality possible. Taking the given context into consideration, this work aims to give continuity to a virtual studio system called ARStudio, by enhancing digital matting, virtual objects registration and introducing a segmentation based on depth map, yet adding better control over functionalities previously implemented
