Avaliação da aplicabilidade do modelo de maturidade de Michael Hammer para gestão de processos em tecnologia da informação

O termo gestão de processos vem ganhando relevância como forma de gestão dentre as principais organizações em todo o mundo. entretanto o assunto ainda é recente no Brasil. O aumento de demandas relacionadas a este tema gerou inúmeras tecnologias de suporte a sua gestão. o que leva as empresas à necessidade de compreenderem melhor o tema. Michael Hammer propôs um modelo de maturidade em gestão de processos. que além de proporcionar subsídios aos executivos para tomadas de decisão. permite que os envolvidos tenham uma melhor compreensão do nível de maturidade de sua organização. Este trabalho teve como objetivo estudar a viabilidade da aplicação do modelo de maturidade de Michael Hammer. usando como caso prático a área de Tecnologia da Informação de uma grande empresa brasileira. As informações para análise foram compostas por questionários e entrevistas. revisão documental e observação direta. Os resultados obtidos confirmam a importância da compreensão do nível de maturidade da organização para início ou melhoria da gestão de processos. Apesar do estudo confirmar a aplicabilidade do modelo. existem ressalvas importantes a serem consideradas por qualquer área ou organização de TI que queira medir o nível de maturidade em gestão de processos através do modelo proposto.

Cuidado de si e hermenêutica do sujeito em Michael Foucault

The work, here present, has as its objective to present in a clear and distinct manner the object of study of Michel Foucault in his last years of teaching at the College de France, namely, the care of the self. We present the care of the self in its birth, in its origin, from the character Socrates and its development until the beginning of the Christian age. With a keen eye, we present Foucault with a work of return and rescue of the care of the self to the personal and academic discussions; we propose, from the self care, to the contemporary subject a problematization of their life so that from this questioning he creates for herself ways of life that are coherence, knowledge and care with which he has of must particular, his himself. Passing by the sources that served as the source of study for Foucault to sketch the birth of care of the self, we design the form with which Foucault has dealt with the documents that speak of the care of self. We present Socrates as one who by excellence ensures that the other will give birth to the forms of knowledge and care of the self or, in other words, we present the care of the self socratic-foucauldian as a constant worry of the other to pay attention to ways in which he conducts her life, it creates for themselves ways of being and, therefore, creates ethics of existence. We present, finally, the care of the self as the cause of continuous immanence of modes of subjectivation of the subject that configure themselves in a non-accepting a determined essence, but a continually updated form . The care of the self leads to a single relationship and educator of modes of subjectivation of the subject; he creates, on the dynamics of temporality, ethical ways of living, which are sustained by an internal coherence of the subject with herself; he admits no stationary nature in the training of the subject, always wants a more beautiful work of himself; he is not isolation, he needs and is made with the other. The care of the self is the principle and the telos of battles and conquests of the subject within his temporality and existence

Michael Faraday: o caminho da livraria à descoberta da indução eletromagnética

Estudando o trabalho experimental sobre eletromagnetismo realizado por Michael Faraday no início do século XIX, encontramos vários elementos que poderiam ser utilizados no Ensino de Ciências. Um conhecimento histórico sobre o trabalho experimental desenvolvido por Faraday e que o levou à descoberta da indução eletromagnética pode transmitir aos estudantes uma concepção mais adequada do processo de desenvolvimento da Ciência. No entanto, isso só pode ser feito utilizando-se um estudo detalhado e bem fundamentado do processo histórico ocorrido, deixando de lado as simplificações e os mitos que costumam ser apresentados.

Crítica da modernidade e marxismo weberiano: aspectos da trajetória indisciplinada de Michael Löwy

Em sua vasta trajetória intelectual – que atravessa os múltiplos campos teóricos das ciências humanas – Michael Löwy destacou-se pela capacidade de estabelecer um diálogo profícuo entre tradições diversas do pensamento social. Partindo desta constatação, o objetivo deste artigo é a apresentação e sistematização de alguns aspectos decisivos da trajetória teórica e intelectual de Michael Löwy, com ênfase especial: 1) na importância da sua formação intelectual, ainda no Brasil (no final da década de 1950), para a constituição de uma leitura não-dogmática do marxismo; e 2) sua incorporação da dialética no diagnóstico weberiano da modernidade. O artigo argumenta que essa interpretação “aberta” do marxismo permitiu-lhe reinterpretar autores do passado — como Marx e Weber — a partir das condições de possibilidade do cenário histórico e intelectual contemporâneo. Esta disposição para enfrentar os desafios do presente sem abandonar as perspectivas do passado comprova a importância da obra de Löwy para as ciências sociais e, mais especificamente, para o marxismo contemporâneo.

Estudo sobre o uso do pentacloreto de nióbio, como ácido de Lewis, na síntese de enaminas através da reação de adição de Michael

The NbCl5 being a strong electrophile, is a potential candidate to act as a Lewis acid, and therefore it mediates various organic reactions. For this reason, it has received continuous attention by Brazilian researchers, especially in recent decades, since Brazil holds the largest reserves of niobium, besides being the largest producer of this element. The Michael addition reaction is one of the most widely used for forming carbon-carbon bonds and takes place by the addition of nucleophiles to activated olefins. Although this type of reaction is usually catalyzed by base, there are reports in the literature on the use of various Lewis acids in this type of reaction. The synthesis of enamines based acetilenodicarboxilates and amines, aromatic or alkyl, by Michael addition reaction is quite interesting, since these are valuable synthetic intermediates for the synthesis of heterocyclic and they are used in multicomponent reactions. The derivatives of anilino-fumarate also have a great potential for medical application. In this study we investigated the use of niobium pentachloride as Lewis acid to catalyze the Michael additions between the derivatives of aniline and acetilenodicarboxilates the synthesis of enamines

A dança da situação: refletindo sobre os elementos que compõem a linguagem estético-expressiva presente na construção da obra A Mão do Meio - Sinfonia Lúdica, coreografada por Denise Namura e Michael Bugdahn

A Cie. <<à fleur de peau>>, fundada em 1988 pela brasileira Denise Namura e pelo alemão Michael Bugdahn, sediada na França, desenvolve uma linguagem estéticoexpressiva própria, caracterizada por integrar áreas artísticas distintas, como a dança, as artes circenses, o teatro e a mímica. Tal confluência decorre da formação de ambos os fundadores, atuais diretores e coreógrafos da companhia de dança-teatro. O intercâmbio dessa companhia com o Brasil é constante, incluindo apresentações de seus espetácul os, coreografias para outras companhias e oficinas. Em uma de suas vindas à cidade de São Paulo, no ano de 2013, tivemos a oportunidade de entrar em contato com a pesquisa de linguagem da Cie. Em 2014, os fundadores foram convidados a coreografar um espetáculo infantil para a Cia. de Danças de Diadema, localizada no ABCDMR paulista. Este estudo partiu do interesse em conhecer o trabalho desenvolvido por Namura e Bugdahn. A partir desse encontro, pudemos observar, relatar e refletir sobre como ocorreu a tran smissão dessa linguagem estético-expressiva no processo de criação do espetáculo A Mão do Meio - Sinfonia Lúdica aos bailarinos da companhia diademense. Para tanto, acompanhamos os ensaios referentes ao espetáculo durante os períodos anterior e posterior à pré-estreia e à estreia oficial do espetáculo. Posteriormente, foi possível tecer outra reflexão, dessa vez sobre os elementos teatrais componentes dessa linguagem, que a tornam diferente em relação ao processo de criação artística e apresentação da obra

The field of archaeology incorporates a confusing assortment of ideas and approaches to the record. With studies ranging widely in ideology and goals, from strict descriptive materialism to sociological interpretation, language used to communicate key concepts (not to mention which concepts are key) also varies widely, resulting in low levels of mutual interest and intelligibility across the discipline. Archaeologists commonly ignore the majority of available literature as a result, further widening intellectual chasms.

BOOK REVIEW of Oceans of Kansas: A Natural History of the Western Interior Sea by Michael J. Everhart

Just as there are seashells on Mt. Everest, there is an exceptional wealth of fossil remains of marine organisms preserved in the chalk of western Kansas. This Cretaceous-aged rock, and the fossils therein, were deposited at a time when a great sea cut northward across the interior of the continent around 85 million years ago, inspiring the provocative title of Everhart's book. The title is true to its subject: documentation of the Cretaceous fossils of western Kansas, their geographic and stratigraphic occurrences, and the inferences that paleontologists can make about how the organisms represented by these fossils may have once lived and interacted with one another.

Metallic chalcogenolates mediated modular Michael-aldol cascade reaction: an easy route to multi-functionalized chalcogenides and Morita-Baylis-Hillman adducts

Chalcogenolate mediated Michael-aldol cascade reactions consists of a very efficient route to multi-functionalized gamma-hydroxichalcogenides. Although, when selenolates are employed, these gamma-hydroxichalcogenides can be readily converted into the corresponding Morita-Baylis-Hillman adducts by oxidative elimination of the selenium moiety.
