PADICAT is the web archive created in 2005 in Catalonia (Spain ) by the Library of Catalonia (BC ) , the National Library of Catalonia , with the aim of collecting , processing and providing permanent access to the digital heritage of Catalonia . Its harvesting strategy is based on the hybrid model ( of massive harvesting . SPA top level domain ; selective compilation of the web site output of Catalan organizations; focused harvesting of public events) . The system provides open access to the whole collection , on the Internet . We consider necessary to complement the current search for new and visualization software with open source software tool, CAT ( Curator Archiving Tool) , composed by three modules aimed to effectively managing the processes of human cataloguing ; to publish directories where the digital resources and special collections ; and to offer statistical information of added value to end users. Within the framework of the International Internet Preservation Consortium meeting ( Vienna 2010) , the progress in the development of this new tool, and the philosophy that has motivated his design, are presented to the international community.

Degut a l'expansió de la nostra societat cada dia hi ha més fonts de dades públiques (mèdiques, financeres,...) per a realitzar-hi estudis estadístics. Aquestes fonts de dades són perilloses per a la informació confidencial de les persones o institucions ja que són accessibles per a tothom, per tant necessiten ser protegides abans de ser publicades. En aquest projecte es presenten els diferents mètodes de protecció corresponents a dades categòriques així com un anàlisi de cadascun per a determinar-ne la pèrdua d'informació i el risc de revelació. Finalment també s'ha desenvolupat un mètode per optimitzar els resultats obtinguts pel mètode PRAM.

L'arrivée des aventures de Tintin dans la presse illustrée helvétique ne se fera pas sans heurts. Au-delà de l'habituelle réappropriation nationale du héros belge, d'importants réaménagements sont pratiqués par l'hebdomadaire catholique genevois L'Écho Illustré, et ce surtout pendant les années 1930. En analysant cette réadaptation, cet article tente de questionner le rapport à l'image distrayante d'un magazine confessionnel qui souhaiterait y voir figurer une portée éducative et morale. D'autre part, le contexte de la presse suisse pendant cette période est encore relativement peu enclin à accueillir la publication de bandes dessinées. Il s'agit donc d'observer de quelle manière ce nouveau média s'intègre dans un support déjà bien établi comme la presse illustrée de la Suisse de l'Entre-deux-guerres. The way Tintin becomes part of the Swiss illustrated press is at least eventful. Beside the usual re-nationalization of the Belgian hero, the catholic weekly magazine from Geneva, L'Écho Illustré, realizes important changes in the comics layout, mostly through the Thirties. By analyzing these readjustments, we would like to explore the link between a confessional magazine and entertaining images, considering that this kind of press would like these images to achieve an additional educative and moral goal. Moreover, the Swiss press's context studied here is still relatively unresponsive to publish comics. The aim of this paper is finally to observe how a new media is integrated into an already well-established framework such as the illustrated press in Switzerland during the inter-war years.

La gestión de objetos digitales, ya sean imágenes u otros tipos de ficheros digitales, supone un reto para las organizaciones. Es un proceso estratégico en el que están implicadas varias tareas dentro de la propia institución, desde una posible digitalización del documento físico a una correcta gestión documental pasando por la óptima definición de los requisitos funcionales que debe tener la herramienta que publique y gestione los objetos digitales. Se presenta el caso de dos instituciones, Consorci de Biblioteques Universitàries de Catalunya e Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya, que afrontaron este proceso estratégico y escogieron ContentDm para la publicación y gestión de sus imágenes digitales.

La ventilació mecánica no invasiva(VMNI) associada al tractament farmacològic de l’edema agut de pulmó(EAP) ha demostrat millorar de forma precoç els paràmetres clínics i gasomètrics, reduïr el nombre d’IOT, ingressos a UCI i mortalitat quan es compara amb el tractament convencional. Evaluàrem el perfil clínic, factors associats a mortalitat, comparàrem la mortalitat, temps mig d’estància hospitalària e incidència de complicacions(IAM) pels dos tipus de tractaments realizats(VMNI vs teràpia convencional) en pacients admesos a l’Hospital per EAP entre 2006-2008. El tabaquisme, pressió arterial sistòlica, xifra d’urea i radiografia de tórax amb cardiomegàlia i redistribució són predictors independents de mortalitat.

Estudi clínic, prospectiu, randomizat, on d'un total de 59 pacients foren asignats a dos grups de soport ventilatori (CPAP (30) o BIPAP (29)). L' objectiu primari analizat fou la necessitat de IOT. Com objetius secundaris s'estudiaren la milloria de parámetres clínics, gasomètrics, el temps de soport ventilatori i d' estància en UCI, la supervivència a l' alta d' UCI i als 28 dies. No vam trobar diferències en cap dels paràmetres excepte en la pO2/FiO2 després de la primera hora (146,94CPAP vs 198,49BIPAP p=0.037).

La tesi esplora le possibilità di rinnovamento e di riconfigurazione del ruolo del docente di lingua e letteratura italiana e, più in generale, del ruolo stesso della letteratura all'interno dei sistemi educativi, si colloca necessariamente all'intersezione tra diversi settori di studio: ? la didattica della letteratura italiana, una disciplina giovane, i cui inizi si possono far risalire agli anni Sessanta-Settanta del secolo scorso, situata all'incrocio tra linguistica, italianistica e teoria della letteratura, che ha contribuito alla messa a punto di metodi e di strumenti per l'insegnamento della letteratura soprattutto nel contesto scolastico; ? l'informatica umanistica, la disciplina che si occupa dell'interazione tra la tecnologia e il sapere umanistico, sia dal punto di vista dell'utilizzo dei mezzi digitali per la ricerca (la produzione, la ricerca, la rappresentazione e la conservazione delle informazioni), sia da quello del ruolo dei saperi umanistici nella struttura epistemologica e nella storia della digitalizzazione; ? la tecnologia dell'educazione, che a partire dai primi mezzi di comunicazione elettrici e, poi, dall'invenzione del computer, ha sviluppato concetti e metodi per un approccio critico alle tecnologie utilizzate intenzionalmente con finalità didattiche, sia nelle attività di istruzione in aula, sia nelle attività cosiddette a distanza. A contatto con concetti e strumenti elaborati in questi ambiti, quindi, lo studioso di letteratura italiana dovrebbe mettere in discussione concetti e strumenti tipici della propria disciplina, riflettere sul proprio ruolo di ricercatore e di docente nella produzione e distribuzione di contenuti disciplinari per la formazione degli studenti e, infine, individuare strumenti operativi che gli consentano di assumere il controllo sui processi di apprendimento e sul complesso rapporto che essi intrattengono con l'insegnamento.

As Minister for Children, I am pleased to publish this paper which provides an overview of the income supports available for young parents. This paper has been commissioned as part of the evaluation of the Teenage Parents Support Initiative (TPSI) funded by the Department of Health and Children.The objective of this paper is to discuss the degree to which existing provision within the Irish welfare system meets the financial support needs of teenage parents, in particular, the level to which it meets the needs of different subgroups within the overall population of teenage parents. As Minister for Children, I am pleased to publish this paper on young parents and education disadvantage, which has been commissioned as part of the evaluation of the Teenage Parents Support Initiative (TPSI). The aim of this paper is to identify and discuss key aspects of the policy landscape in relation to young parentsâ?T participation in education and to inform the work of the TPSI pilot projects. For all young people, education and training offers a possible route out of poverty, social exclusion and isolation. Research suggests that teenage parents represent a particularly vulnerable group within the education system and that difficulties in continuing formal education and in accessing relevant training opportunities are significant issues for young parents and their children. This report provides our advice to the Minister for Education and Science on the application for designation as a university made by Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT). WIT submitted an application for designation in February 2006. There is a statutory procedure for the creation of a new university under Section 9 of the Universities Act 1997. We were asked to advise the Minister on the merits of the submission in order for her to provide guidance to Government on whether such a formal statutory review should be initiated. It is not a straightforward task to advise on this case for several reasons. These include the facts that: the regulatory environment for Institutes of Technology has changed significantly since WIT made their application; and the designation of any IoT would potentially challenge the government’s current higher education policy. So our report has to range more widely than the merits of the WIT application, taken at face value.

Legislation enacted on 1 April 2009 created a new commissioning system in Northern Ireland with the establishment of a region-wide Health and Social Care Board (including five Local Commissioning Groups (LCGs) and a Public Health Agency).The Health and Social Care Board is required by statute to prepare and publish each year a Commissioning Plan setting out the health and social care services to be commissioned and the associated costs of delivery.This is the�third Commissioning Plan to be produced by the Health and Social Care Board and Public Health Agency. It takes forward and builds upon the key themes set out in the first two Commissioning Plans, in particular tackling health inequalities, reforming acute hospital services, reforming social care services and establishing Primary Care Partnerships.

Dur a terme la implementació d'un portal de recerca de feina a través d'Internet. Aquest portal servirà com a punt de trobada entre empreses i treballadors. Permetrà a les empreses publicar les seves ofertes de treball i als usuaris veure aquestes ofertes i inscriure's si ho consideren oportú.

Aquesta és la realització del TFC en l'àrea de .NET de en quant al "Desenvolupament ràpid de llocs web". L'objectiu global del projecte és explorar la tecnologia WebMatrix de Microsoft, proveint una web per la PYME Cerámicas Alba, dedicada a les reformes i la venda al detall de mobiliari i ceràmiques per a banys i cuines. La PYME necessita amb certa urgència una web per publicar d'una manera ràpida informació de l'empresa. La web tindrà dues parts: back-end i el front-end. El back-end pretén permetre al client administrar les parts dinàmiques de la web com ara productes i dades de l'empresa. El front-end serà la part visible per els usuaris d'Internet. Com a proveïdor de la web, és requisit disposar d'eines i un entorn per a generar i publicar la web, WebMatrix és una tecnologia de Microsoft que s'hi ajusta i la definida en el TFC.
