Justiça ambiental e distribuição de áreas verdes na cidade de Rio Claro-SP

Se é inegável que as questões do meio ambiente atraem uma atenção cada vez maior nos dias de hoje, falta ainda reconhecer a centralidade dos princípios de justiça ambiental para a proteção ecológica, a atividade econômica ou mesmo o futuro da democracia brasileira. Por Justiça Ambiental entenda-se o conjunto de princípios que asseguram que nenhum grupo de pessoas, sejam grupos étnicos, raciais ou de classe, suporte uma parcela desproporcional das conseqüências ambientais negativas de operações econômicas, de políticas e programas federais, estaduais e locais, bem como resultantes da ausência ou omissão de tais políticas. Dito de outra forma, trata-se da espacialização da justiça distributiva, uma vez que diz respeito à distribuição do meio ambiente para os seres humanos. Complementarmente, entende-se por Injustiça Ambiental o mecanismo pelo qual sociedades desiguais destinam a maior carga dos danos ambientais do desenvolvimento a grupos sociais de trabalhadores, populações de baixa renda, grupos raciais discriminados, populações marginalizadas e mais vulneráveis. A qualidade do meio ambiente no qual vivemos influi consideravelmente na própria qualidade de vida. A presença de áreas verdes no universo urbano é um fator essencial no resgate dos aspectos positivos da relação das formas urbanas com a natureza, e a distribuição e a distância entre elas influi diretamente sobre as suas funções econômica, estética, social e ecológica, constituindo-se como indicador relevante para a qualidade de vida. Com isso o trabalho buscou identificar a relação entre a distribuição espacial das áreas verdes em Rio Claro e o perfil socioeconômico das populações adjacentes. A partir do levantamento das áreas verdes urbanas e do índice paulista de vulnerabilidade social para o município de Rio Claro (IPVS), foram calculados os índices de áreas verdes para as regiões de diferente vulnerabilidade socioeconômica

Impactos socioespaciais do uso e ocupação do solo urbano na área de entorno do Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo - Guarulhos - Andre Franco Montoro

The construction of the São Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos recorded significant economic growth for the whole region, especially for services and jobs generated. Despite the importance of its presence in Guarulhos, we note the absence of an articulate and committed planning to urban development of the city, mainly in adjacent areas to this airport system planning. Through this stud, we analyzed primarily the major interferences and modifications afforded by its presence in guarulhense spatiality. We found that the government was, to some extent, tolerant to mounting housing in the surrounding area to the airport, from the moment that allowed the diverse urban land use in the place where it was planned to build such equipment. We further note that the airport is developed autonomously to the municipality in which the investments and related works only aim to meet the needs of the enterprise

Programa de aceleração de crescimento – P.A.C: discussão sociológica a respeito do mercado da habitação

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise a respeito do que foi proposto pelo Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento – PAC pelo governo em mandato Luís Inácio Lula da Silva, em janeiro de 2007, destacando seus principais resultados ao término do ano de 2010, contribuindo com uma investigação a respeito do modelo de desenvolvimento adotado nos últimos dez anos no Brasil. Argumentamos que o setor habitacional teve maior ênfase no setor de infraestrutura social e urbana, levando em consideração que havia uma busca pela melhoria do nível de déficit habitacional no Brasil que, de acordo com o Ministério das Cidades, em 2006, era de aproximadamente 8 milhões de domicílios, sendo que sua grande maioria localizavam-se nas áreas urbanas, aproximadamente 6,5 milhões de domicílios. Moldando essa discussão através dos conceitos da Sociologia Econômica, argumentamos que, em termos de Mercado Habitacional, o Estado construiu a ideia da necessidade da casa própria, e a população aderiu a essa ideia como sendo algo necessário para a condição de estar incluída em uma sociedade ou grupo social

Análise da viabilidade de motorização elétrica do soprador no ciclo regenerativo da unidade de craqueamento catalítico fluidizado em uma refinaria

One of the biggest environmental problems of today is the climate change. Experts affirm that this global warming is related to the greenhouse effect. Its causes are directly related to human activity, especially the use of fossil fuels. In this context, companies around the world are challenged to improve energy efficiency in order to reduce the environmental impact and work toward the so-called tripod of sustainable development that focuses on the social, economic and environmental aspects of a business strategy. The first step a company can make in this regard is to conduct an inventory of emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs). The reduction of GHG emissions in a refinery can be achieved by replacing steam turbines with electric motors to drive big machines, this reduction is achieved by relieving the steam consumption for electric power available or purchased. An important aspect associated with the reduction of GHG emissions is the best performance of the Energy Intensity Index (ERI). The objective of this study was to analyze the feasibility of the blower motorization in the regenerative cycle of a fluidized catalytic cracking unit at a specific refinery. For development work, two methods were used, the initial screening and optimization scenarios with the help of software Butyl. The results indicate that after a certain cost of natural gas this substitution becomes favorable. In addition, there is a large reduction of CO2 emissions avoided by burning fuel

Depressão e apoio social percebido por mães de crianças hospitalizadas

This study was performed as a requirement of the final course in Nursing. The study is cross-cutting, in order to identify associations between socioeconomic factors, education, child hospitalization in the ICU or not, degree of depression and level of social support (material, affective, emotional, informational and positive social interaction) and how to identify subgroups of mother - child vulnerable. Constitute themselves as subjects, mothers of children 0 to 17 years, 11 months and 29 days in hospital after the second day of hospitalization in the pediatric unit of a State Hospital Interior Paulista. Data collection was initiated after obtaining the assent of the Research Ethics Committee, as well as signing the consent form. We used the following instruments to collect data: the data form for socioeconomic and hospitalization; Beck Depression Inventory and Medical Outcomes Study (MOS). We obtained the result that there is a strong association between availability and social support and income per capita and the degree of depression, but did not find an association between time and hospital stay and whether the child was admitted to the ICU or not. We conclude that it is necessary to establish treatment services from the patient’s family, plus an appropriate social service support to meet this big demand for mothers who need support

O uso da chupeta: elaboração de material pedagógico para orientação dos profissionais das escolas de educação infantil

What is the relationship of a pacifier as for nutrition, speech, dental and psychotherapy? What are its benefits and harm? Which strategies should be developed as a teaching material which can guide employees and teachers of early childhood education regarding the use of pacifier in schools? The survey is a qualitative and an exploratory one. By taking literature as a starting point. We found out that there are many doubts regarding the use of pacifier, even among health professionals. The booklet was prepared containing topics such as: social and historical aspects; psycho-physiological aspects of development, speech therapy and dental aspects; pros and cons of using a pacifier; teaching materials on the pedagogical use of pacifiers. This study has its objective to analyze how the Technology of Information and Communication-TIC will be applied in the construction on new knowledge in the schools bounded to the program Acessa Escola.( School turned on) This program from São Paulo’s Government, developed by the Secretary of Education of the State , under the coordination of the Foundation to the Development of the Education-FDE, which has the work proposal to promote the digital inclusion to all the educational community. Making it possible the access of the Technology of Information and Communication to the users; Students, teachers, and school employees to have the exchange of information and knowledge. Therefore, there is the collaboration between teachers and student.For the development of this research, there will be semi-structured interviews with high school teacher from 3 different High Schools of Piracicaba-SP. These interviews will be done in a qualitative approach and will be submitted to the Ethic Committee from the University

At this point, we draw a connection between the virtual immersion and the detachment from personal and face to face relationships. Wear this reality, this project proposes a discussion of the communications while transmitting messages and content, as well as a basis for social relations developed between individuals in a given society. From this analysis, we depart for the development of an action joining the Public Relations and Design, while communication areas that when involved, enable the development of an empirical theory for the increased use of social relations, through the feelings

A construção da notícia no portal choike.org: comunicação alternativa na internet

This project aims to study the influence of information technology in the construction of new forms of citizenship. A large space as possible by the Internet allows the emergence of alternative news sources, as opposed to the means of mass communication. The research will take from the study of the news portal Choike.org. Maintained by civil society representatives, the website has a proposal to address topics that are infrequent in the media hegemony. To facilitate the study, we established a cut. Let's look at five bulletins Choike.org portal between the years 2005 and 2010 that address the issue of agrarian reform in Latin America, especially in Brazil. The issue is discussed by the media in general, however has more emphasis between the means of alternative journalism.
