This analysis sought to study the social history of women, education and practice of cyber-activism, which consists of the struggle for causes that benefit society as a manner of social engagement. Through thorough theoretical study it was possible to analyze the campaign, 10X10, and relate the importance of the practice of personal commitment to support causes of global interest. Thus, it is possible to ascertain the relevance of actions via the Internet, its reach, its effectiveness and method of operation, providing voice and force to altruistic causes

This paper aims to show the beginning of habitus and the bodily hexis construction of male ballet dancer and female player soccer. Firstly, the habitus and the bodily hexis are established by the cultural inheritance of families (advices, likes, choices, prohibitions, and work divisions). After, they are restructured by the most diverse fields where this people act, mainly in the school, specifically at Physical Education classes (in the specialized places where these classes occur). Thus, it is possible to verify the success or the failure of their path lives and the possibility of a social ascent by the choice of these practices as professional career.

This work is a clipping of a Master's research which aims to discuss critically the Work Cooperated in the field of Solidarity economy (EcoSol), starting from the benchmark of the Institucional Analysis and rom their fundamental operators. The professional skills desirable to graduates in public relations are defined by many authors of scientific specialized literature, and are continually developed throughout the academic life of the PR student. There are many opportunities of learning aspects such as professional behavior, responsibilities and challenges in the activity's various branches. The field of public communication has particularities that must be respected in order to have an effective communication process with quality and focused vision for citizenship building. This paper examines the specificities of public communication in Brazil, characterized by innovations of the right to information on public social policies, and offers a contribution to the characterization of the necessary skills and abilities of the communicator of this field in the contemporary scenario

Ética e atuação profissional: percepção de agentes comunitários de saúde

The perceptions of the Community Health Agent (CHA) referred to ethics in their work have been evaluated in this study. A questionnaire with social and ethical issues was applied in 61 ACS. 90% reported having received information about ethics, and “training courses” was the most cited source (68.9%). On a scale from 1 (least) to 5 (maximum), 67% claimed to have knowledge about ethics among 4 or 5 and 88.5% reported that this topic has an importance of 5 in their work. Ethical conflicts exposed had an average of 75% of respondents in agreement with the reference sources, and the two items involving “information privacy” showed the greatest disagreement. Ethics was considered important by the professional performance of subjects who had a good perception about the issue; however the topic about privacy of information generated controversy.

Instâncias de consagração na cibercultura: um estudo sobre a atuação do internauta no MySpace

With new technologies, there are fields of unprecedented artistic legitimation and consecration. On the Internet, MySpace is used as a social network whose peculiarity lies in the interactivity of between artists (established and independent) users and non-artists. The website has revealed new names in the music scene from the popularity they gained by its peers. To see how the communication happens within that environment, was chosen the band profile Restart, whose audience is the majority of MySpace teen (youth 12 to 17 years). The analysis of this article is part of a broader research and the results already obtained allow us to see, within the limits of the selected area, that the Internet not only introduces a new field of action, but new instances of artistic consecration.

Comunicação pública e acesso à informação: análise da atuação da SABESP em plataformas virtuais

This undergraduate research final paper analyzed the communication process carried out by the São Paulo State Water and Sanitation Company - Sabesp from the perspective of public communication, social capital and right to information theories. By monitoring Sabesp's institutional fanpage and website from 24 to 30 August 2015, it sought to assess the performance of Sabesp in disclosing public information on the context of the water supply crisis in São Paulo, concerning the fulfillment of requirements of the Right to Information Law (12.527/2011) and the need for interaction and dialogue between the institution and its stakeholders, taken as principles of public communication. The results suggest that digital media can enhance information flow and contribute to foster public relations and civic participation, but there are opportunities for Sabesp to improve communication and reach greater transparency
