Dynamiques du développement de la pisciculture dans deux régions du Brésil : une approche comparée

Based on a historical approach, fish farming development was compared in two differentiated Brazilian areas. This study mobilizes the concept of Innovative Local System (ILS) together with the theoretical framework of the Sociology of Innovation and of the Economies of Size. We found that all the relationships within Ribeira Valley are mainly commercial based. There is neither coordination nor linking actions among the components of ILS. Hence, the "network" was unable to create technological or organizational innovations capable of facing any economic crisis. Conversely, in the Itajai High Valley, the socio-technological fish farming network has been developed on social, commercial, and trustful relationships. All interactions among the components of the ILS were coordinated to each other which allowed this network to react when economic or climatic threats threatened the sustainability of fish farming.

Les patients atteints d'hypertension artérielle: approche de leur vécu

The study aims at exploring the experience of the patients suffering from high blood pressure, analysing the difficulties they evoke and trying to generate similarities. It is a qualitative study, based on the phenomenological method. The interviews highlight the fact that the patients are preoccupied only by the symptoms of high blood pressure. They also show that all the patients live through the disease with a lot of emotions, with feelings of frustration, stress, anxiety and helplessness. A better understanding of the patients' experience must enable the nurses to have better targeted actions.

Auditory and communicative abilities in the auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder and mutation in the Otoferlin gene: clinical cases study

This study had the aim to investigate the auditory and communicative abilities of children diagnosed with Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder due to mutation in the Otoferlin gene. It is a descriptive and qualitative study in which two siblings with this diagnosis were assessed. The procedures conducted were: speech perception tests for children with profound hearing loss, and assessment of communication abilities using the Behavioral Observation Protocol. Because they were siblings, the subjects in the study shared family and communicative context. However, they developed different communication abilities, especially regarding the use of oral language. The study showed that the Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder is a heterogeneous condition in all its aspects, and it is not possible to make generalizations or assume that cases with similar clinical features will develop similar auditory and communicative abilities, even when they are siblings. It is concluded that the acquisition of communicative abilities involves subjective factors, which should be investigated based on the uniqueness of each case.

Le Bassin de Ribeira Seca de Santiago, Cap Vert: une gestion basée sur l'approche GIRE

[FR] Dans cet article, l´auteur caractérise l´eau et l´agriculture des îles du Cap Vert et analyse les défis de l´eau après la construction du barrage de Poilao dans la Vallée de Ribeira Seca, sur l´île de Santiago, en se servant de l´approche GIRE (Gestion Intégrée des Ressources en Eau). Au niveau de la législation, il s´avère nécessaire de proposer de nouvelles lois, décrets et règlements qui soient en accord avec notre réalité, en opposition à un important lot d´instruments juridiques inapplicables, obsolètes et de compréhension difficile. La construction du barrage de Poilão a produit des impacts environnementaux, socio-économiques et sur l´irrigation. Il s´agit de trouver un modèle de gestion qui s´adapte à la réalité du Cap Vert et de l´île de Santiago, regroupant tous les partenaires pour une gestion durable de la vallée de Ribeira Seca et qui puisse servir d´exemple aux futurs barrages à construire.

La voix d’Andrea Camilleri en France: approche sociolinguistique du roman « La stagione della caccia » et de sa traduction

Questo elaborato si propone di introdurre il lettore all’universo di Andrea Camilleri, con particolare riferimento alle peculiarità linguistiche che contraddistinguono le sue opere. La lingua da lui utilizzata risulta in una combinazione di dialetto siciliano, italiano standard et una lingua familiare semi-inventata, a cui si aggiunge la varietà di registri impiegati, che investono tutte le variazioni del repertorio linguistico italiano. Questo tipo di scrittura complica il lavoro del traduttore, in quanto poche sono le lingue straniere che presentano una varietà dialettale simile a quella italiana. In particolare la lingua francese, profondamente legata alla norma e al bon usage, risulta poco elastica e quindi restia agli “sconvolgimenti” che invece Camilleri apporta, con risultati divertenti e apprezzati. L’opera oggetto del nostro studio, La stagione della caccia, insiste particolarmente sulla varietà diatopica, varietà che la traduttrice francese Dominique Vittoz ha deciso di preservare impiegando una parlata regionale poco conosciuta, ma appartenente al suo ambito familiare: il lionese. In tal modo, ricorrendo a tecniche di equivalenza e di compensazione, la traduttrice riesce abilmente e rendere in francese la stessa espressività del testo italiano, caratterizzando i personaggi attraverso il loro modo di esprimersi. Lo scopo del nostro lavoro è quello di dimostrare, attraverso l’analisi di alcune parti del testo, che la variazione diatopica è presente tanto nell’opera originale quanto nella sua traduzione. Inoltre, questa analisi ci permetterà di confrontare la situazione sociolinguistica di Italia e Francia, e di passare in rassegna i problemi e le strategie della traduzione in prospettiva sociolinguistica, con particolare attenzione alla traduzione di un linguaggio non standard. Una questione che continua a suscitare numerosi dibattiti e affascina traduttori, autori e non solo.

La lexiculture: un outil pour l'approche culturelle

La lexiculture a identifié la « charge culturelle des mots », ce qui permet de comprendre les jeux de mots dans la phrase, l'humour, l'allusion socioculturelle, l'ironie d'une langue. Le concept se montre à nous comme un concept fonctionnel et mobilisateur qui nous permet de voir autrement le monde, pour un avenir où langue et culture ne seront pas traitées comme deux entités étrangères entre elles.

Communicative Signs Meaning Naturally

Paul Grice distinguishes between natural meaning and non-natural meaning, where the first notion is especially connected to something’s being a natural sign and the second to communication. It is argued that some of the arguments against the distinction being exhaustive are based on a misinterpretation of Grice, but also that the distinction cannot be exhaustive if one takes into account both the criterion of factivity and the connection to communication. If one makes a distinction between natural and non-natural communication, then there are different types of natural communication to be distinguished: goal-directed communication, intentional communication and open intentional communication. Given the empirical evidence, the behavior of chimpanzees and of human infants may be described as goal-directed communication, but there are also important differences between the communicative behavior of the two.
