The current study aims to examine the training potential of an extension project, to work with the issue of sexuality in the daily school environment, as well as the redefinition of values and prejudices on the part of students. Sexuality relates to the pursuit of pleasure, manifested from birth to death. It is believed that the school environment is permeated with sexuality and the school can not deny its role in informing and training young people to experience it sensibly and safe. The extension project in question is intended to constitute as training space for Biological Sciences undergraduates at a public university, to provide conditions for reflection and subjectification of issues related to sexuality, favoring the training of more qualified teachers to deal with the subject in school environment. We used a qualitative methodology, using as instruments to collect data: questionnaires consisting of open-ended questions answered by members and former members of the design and analysis of mentoring records of supervision. It appears that participation in the project is perceived as significant and indicated as responsible for changes in conceptions, prejudices, stereotypes and attitudes regarding the theme of sexuality. Participants feel better prepared to work with the theme in their teaching practice.

There are several possibilities to understand the importance of school education, so this literature review article is to show through the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu that the school is not defined as a social concept of equalization, but a collaboration for the reproduction of structural society. And to be consistent with this action, the school tends to emphasize the hegemonic concepts, so that acts consciously or unconsciously on the aggregation of cultural heritage, imposed by the ruling class, ie, the layers of the corporate elite.

This work aims to investigate the institutionalization of management processes in the legislation of the Brazilian education. For this study was considered the first decades of the twentieth century (1911-1950). The laws of Brazil in the early Republic were derived from tradition or forged by the great legislators. In turn, the tradition is inserted in the power of social organization that is preserved, in a more forceful manner, through the norms and rules. With this assumption, the study chose the Rivadávia and Carlos Maximiliano Reforms, both of the beginning of the century, and the Organic Laws of Teaching, granted by the government in this period, to understand how legislation institutionalized the role of the director in basic education in this context history. The reflections presented introduce historical elements that demonstrate actions and relationships that remain in the form of habits in the school managements. These institutionalized elements contribute to the debate about the political and pedagogical difficulties pointed out by scholars and professionals, related to the promotion of democratic management in the public school.

An Instrument of Evaluation was elaborated, with specific questions of Portuguese language and mathematics. More specifically, we intend to reflect on how Osman Lins analyzes the procedures adopted by the authors of these textbooks to introduce learners into Brazilian literature. Our object of study and analysis is restricted to six trials Lins published originally in 1965, the newspaper of Pernambuco University Press and later, in 1977, were collected in the form of the first chapter, titled "The Book didactic - First time: 1965 " (1977, p.13-40), the book From the Dream and Glory: Brazilian uncultural problems.
