O USO DO COMPUTADOR NO PROCESSO ENSINO APRENDIZAGEM DA GEOGRAFIA FÍSICA, NO 6º ANO DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

O presente projeto tem como objetivo sensibilizar a comunidade educacional sobre a importância de utilizar o computador adequadamente, aperfeiçoando as habilidades dos alunos do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental, da Escola Municipal Jair de Oliveira. Partindo de um diagnóstico, sobre aulas de Geografia, verificou-se que a aprendizagem dos alunos a partir da utilização do computador e da Internet poderia contribuir para melhorar o desempenho dos mesmos. Foram elaboradas e realizadas entrevistas e/ou questionários, para coleta  e tabulação de dados sobre o uso dos recursos tecnológicos. Nessa perspectiva, ressalta-se a importância da apropriação das novas tecnologias e da necessidade da qualificação para o uso dos mesmos. A educação do futuro será uma combinação entre telecomunicações e computadores. Todavia, em pleno século XXI, alguns têm pouco acesso a computadores em rede. As escolas que possuem o laboratório, na maioria das vezes não qualificam os professores para utilizá-los, e esses se sentem impotentes por causa de problemas disciplinares. Com esse projeto espera-se que os educandos sintam-se capazes de lidar com os avanços tecnológicos, e que o docente seja mais flexível na escolha das metodologias a serem trabalhadas a fim de conciliar os usos dos recursos tecnológicos com êxito no aprendizado.

Introdução ao curso de especialização em Saúde da Família: ambiente virtual de aprendizagem

Módulo 01 do curso de especialização em Saúde da Família, da UNA-SUS/UFMA, expõe os conceitos, princípios, processo de interação, docência e tutoria em Educação a Distância, de forma a provocar uma reflexão crítica sobre essa modalidade de educação. Aborda-se as características do Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem – AVA, o sistema Moodle e as suas ferramentas.

Rede assistencial em saúde mental [parte 2]

Material utilizado no módulo de Gestão e Organização de Serviços de Saúde Mental do curso de capacitação em Saúde Mental produzido pela UNA-SUS/UFMA. Aborda a situação do paciente antes do adoecimento, isto é, fala sobre sinais que a pessoa apresenta quando está adoecendo mentalmente. Discute a situação das universidades no que concerne a aprendizagem em acolhimento emocional do paciente.

Acesso aberto no contexto dos repositórios digitais educacionais: o caso da rede UNA-SUS

Com o intuito de estabelecer padrões mínimos de negociação de direitos autorais que viabilizem o acesso aberto de objetos de aprendizagem publicados no repositório educacional digital da UNA-SUS - o Acervo de Recursos Educacionais em Saúde - ARES -, foi iniciada a implementação de uma Política de Acesso Aberto da UNA-SUS. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre os temas relacionados ao acesso aberto e direitos autorais, seguida do levantamento de necessidades da Rede UNA-SUS. A definição de instrumentos legais para assegurar o processo de gestão dos direitos autorais foi feita com o apoio de um consultor jurídico para validação por um grupo de trabalho constituído no âmbito da Rede e posterior implementação dos elementos que constituirão a Política de Acesso da UNA-SUS.

[strategies For Integration Of Health Care Practices And Sanitary Surveillance In The Context Of The Implementation Of Rede Cegonha - A Brazilian Mother And Infant Health Care Network].

Mother and infant mortality has been the scope of analysis throughout the history of public health in Brazil and various strategies to tackle the issue have been proposed to date. The Ministry of Health has been working on this and the Rede Cegonha strategy is the most recent policy in this context. Given the principle of comprehensive health care and the structure of the Unified Health System in care networks, it is necessary to ensure the integration of health care practices, among which are the sanitary surveillance actions (SSA). Considering that the integration of health care practices and SSA can contribute to reduce mother and infant mortality rates, this article is a result of qualitative research that analyzed the integration of these actions in four cities in the State of São Paulo/Brazil: Campinas, Indaiatuba, Jaguariúna and Santa Bárbara D'Oeste. The research was conducted through interviews with SSA and maternal health managers, and the data were evaluated using thematic analysis. The results converge with other studies, identifying the isolation of health care practices and SSA. The insertion of SSA in collectively-managed areas appears to be a potential strategy for health planning and implementation of actions in the context under scrutiny.

O desenvolvimento do texto dissertativo em crianças da 4ª série

This reaserch analysed the developmental stage of fourth grade (primary school) children in ability of writting argumentative texts joint with their context. The reason of this reaserch is the lack of new studies in linguistical area and high ratio of unable students to make this kind of text. It will be showed the analysis of making text by public schools children for three months. These data were analysed trying identify argumentative operators, the kinds of arguments used and the stage of the argumentative ability of these children. The study showed that the introduction of argumentative text in first grades give them more chances of succeed, preparing these pupils in their finishing high school. This fact obviously will make easier the development of their critical point of view, helping the students to think about their living social reality.

A construção de uma escala de estratégias de aprendizagem para alunos do ensino fundamental

Although learning strategies are important tools for schooling process, there is a lack of national instruments to evaluate their knowledge by brazilian students. Therefore, the objectives of this paper are to describe the steps necessary for the construction of a scale to evaluate the learning strategies for basic education students and to present the preliminary study of its psychometric properties. It is also discussed the utility of this instrument for diagnosis, intervention and prevention in school and educational psychology.

Estratégias de aprendizagem e desempenho acadêmico: evidências de validade

The purpose of the present study was to verify the factorial validity of a learning strategy scale as well as to explore the concurrent validity of the instrument in regard to students´ academic achievement. The sample was composed of 815 basic education children from both public and private schools of São Paulo and Minas Gerais. The Learning Strategy Scale was collectively applied. Exploratory factorial analyses were conducted to achieve the purposes of the study. The alphas of Cronbach of the instrument and of its three subscales showed good reliability. Variance analyses showed significant differences between school achievement and punctuation in the scale. The data were discussed in terms of their possible implications for the psycho-educational evaluation area.

Aprendizagem autorregulada da leitura: resultados positivos de uma intervenção psicopedagógica

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a pedagogical intervention to improve the reading comprehension of fourth grade students of a public primary school. Two classes of 28 students were randomly assigned to an experimental or control group. The students were assessed during three different moments by means of an informative questionnaire, a Learning Strategies Scale and two cloze tests for reading comprehension. The intervention consisted of seven sessions which included learning strategies instruction, reading strategies instruction, meta-cognition activation, motivational support and study guidance. Results showed improvement in meta-cognition and in reading comprehension in both groups. However, gains were higher and more consistent in the experimental group.

Resonancias discursivas y cortesía en prácticas de lecto-escritura

In this paper we present a study of reading comprehension based on a contrastive argumentative-discursive approach. We examine the relationship between linguistic materiality and discursive processes, observing the connection between reading in a foreign language, writing production and textual memories in the mother tongue. In addition to an interest in practical language teaching and learning processes (in this case of Spanish and Portuguese), we investigate the question of politeness and the theoretical relationship between subjectivity, language, and textuality. The latter, being understood as the result of discourse regularities, is unique for each and every production, yet is also conditioned by plural discursive memories resulting from contradictory social relationships in a specific historical context (Foucault, 1986; Pêcheux, 1990). In the experiment presented here, we follow some of the procedures of the methodology applied in the European Galatea Project developed for the study of reading strategies in the inter-comprehension between Romance languages (Dabène, 1996). We use the procedure of simulation and the subjective projection of participants as well as the notion of discursive resonance in the analysis. The results, having to do with directness and indirectness in speech and the question of politeness in two typologically close languages, lead to the conclusion that the concept of politeness goes beyond a pragmatic strategy used to avoid conflicts to be approached as a marker of cultural identity constitution. The relevance of discursive awareness and its theoretical and practical consequences are then emphasized.

Movimentos sociais na contemporaneidade

The work aims to present an overview of social movements in actuality, in the Latin America, and presents a mapping of their main forms in Brazil. The search ponders the educational character of their actions, both for its participants, as for society in general and public agencies. The basic premise of assertion that social movements are sources of innovation and knowledge-generating arrays. However, because it is not an isolated process but social-political character, the paper search joints in the network of relationships that establish movements in political, economic and socio-cultural country, to understand the factors that generate learning built and values of political culture that are being built. . The text highlights movements that occurs in the areas of education - formal and non-formal education.

O ambiente virtual de aprendizagem e sua incorporação na Unicamp

The text describes a study about the adoption of virtual learning environments and its consequences to the learning process of undergraduate students at the State University of Campinas - Unicamp. These environments can be incorporated in various ways into the academic daily life of students and teachers. One efficient way to promote the adoption of these environments, as observed by the Distance Learning support team, is to train teachers and students in their use. Two training alternatives are described in this text to instruct the academic community in the use of TelEduc, a freeware developed and coordinated by the NIED - Núcleo de Informática Aplicada à Educação (Center for Information Technology Applied to Education), and officially adopted by Unicamp. Training courses are offered in two ways - presence or distance learning - to suit each teacher's preferences. This article compares the two modes of training, showing their strong and weak points. The adoption of TelEduc and its direct consequences to the learning process are described in a study carried out with some engineering undergraduates at Unicamp. The authors' questions and the general views of teachers and students regarding the effectiveness of the use of TelEduc as a supporting tool to presence teaching are presented. This investigation revealed the importance of training teachers in the effective use of these environments.

Tradução & aprendizado de língua estrangeira: o ponto de vista do aluno

This paper reports some exemplary data related to a research project on the role of translation in foreign language teaching-learning. The data were collected through a questionnaire administered to 47 Brazilian ESL learners. Specifically, the points of the analysis are: how the translation process is conceived by the students; why and when the translation is used by the learners in classroom situations; mother tongue/foreign language relationships in this specific context, among other aspects. The findings reveal that translation, when used a mediating resource for foreign language teaching-learning, can promote target language management.
