The research aimed to study the emergence, role, and the possibilities of environmental movements in Sergipe, running through an analysis of the period between 1983 and 2011. This goal has been guided by the core issue of research, which was to analyze the relationship between the mission, structure and action of environmental organizations in Sergipe. The research arose from the need to map and critically evaluate the environmental movement in Sergipe. The methodological procedures focused on the literature search, survey papers in Sergipe a time gap of 28 years, detailed analysis of nine "movements" and selected in-depth interviews, semi-structured interviews with dozens of social actors involved in the area. In conclusion, we observed that environmentalism in Sergipe, from its inception, was associated with recovery of consciousness regarding the environment, to combat local problems of degradation, and the search for legitimacy of public opinion. Although the environmental movement have been, at times, the attention of mass media, the movement failed to leave the niche and achieve a more representative portion of society. You can still see the deep relationship between the profile of environmental leaders, capital strength and the practical results of the environmental actions and finally, it was observed that the action of the movements has much stronger bond with the relationship of the organization and its main leaders with the other "environmentalist," than with the structure and mission of the institution

This thesis aims to build a panoramic analysis with the intention of providing the theoretical initial a thought articulated educational of podcast, a technology orality distributed demand. This joint search considering the various spheres that educational technology in Brazilian use, both in school and non-school contexts, including scenarios and distance. This study unites questions addressed piecemeal in the area to new perspectives about the podcast, in order to characterize its nature, examining such technology from a perspective of educational technology itself, as well as unveiling its main potentials and implications. The survey was conducted from the combined use of quantitative and qualitative categories, with emphasis on the last one. The method of participant observation was followed by immersion of the researcher in the audience groups of Brazilians podcasts. Data collection with sources held in non-school contexts, from a look at targeted interactions given the blogs of Brazilian productions, as well as from open-ended interviews with producers - made online - besides giving themselves from the hearing itself about five hundred podcasts of Brazil. In the school context, the research focused on a literature review of the literature of the study area. Were added to the corpus described statistics derived mainly from "Podpesquisa 2009," Numerical major survey on the use of podcasts in Brazil. The articulation and analysis of the collected data, we used the concept of Education Paulo Freire (1971, 1987), so that, understanding it as synonymous to communication - understood this concept in Freire - were able to reveal the various ramifications educational podcast Brazilian atmosphere permeated by a dialogic between its participants. Moreover, the ideas of Célestin Freinet (1998) about the cooperation, while education practice, conducted the analyzes productive technology addressed in this work. Such consideration provided the foundation for the reflections and proposals offered in this study, which, in the characterization of the oral nature of the podcast - especially their version for the deaf - appropriated the placements Luis Antonio Marcuschi (2001) about the relationship between orality and writing. In addition to these references, several other authors were considered, dealing with issues that pervade the theme here delimited, contemplating discussions on topics such as educational interest, online production, inclusive education, among other aspects. At the end, there was the podcast as a technology, while still reproducing social asymmetries Brazilian fairly directed at promoting mitigations hierarchical and open production in digital orality promotes. In view of its technical and educational implications in national use, the technology study has revealed potential relevant to the sophistication of teaching practices with orality, in various contexts, and proved adequate to serve as a motto to the revision of school practices, to even the very role of the school. This, by the prospects unveiled here, can, through the podcast, mitigate their questions reproductivist to constitute themselves as under privileged communication, boosted by critical rescue and sophistication of management through the most basic education component: speech

Communication is seen as vital function. Through it, individuals and organizations relate to each other, the environment and the shares of their own group, influencing each other to turn facts into information. The user of the male part of a group of patients whose health policy is still in development. This fact can create insecurity in the nurse to establish a process that promotes disease prevention, promotion and / or recovery of health for that user. Aiming to elucidate this, the present study aimed to: apprehend the social representations of nurses communication with the users were male, looking for disease prevention, promotion and recovery of his health; identify the factors that influenced, positively or negatively on the effectiveness of nurses communication with the users were male and investigate the strategies used by nurses to clarify communication with the users were male. In order to achieve the goal raised, this study was a descriptive, exploratory and qualitative approach. Was based on theoretical and methodological framework social representations of Denise Jodelet and Serge Moscovici. The project has, through no Parecer nº 649/10, approval of the Ethics and Research HULW. During data collection, we used a semi-structured script and a diary interviews with 24 nurses in basic health units of district-Mangabeira Health District III, the city of João Pessoa (PB). The results were analyzed using the technique of content analysis according to Bardin (2007). Classifying the research subjects and identified three categories and five nuclei of the central ideas. The categories identified: the grasp of the RS communication of nurses with male users, identifying factors that influence the effectiveness of nurses' communication with users and male research on the strategies used by nurses to the elucidation of the communication with male users. The nuclei of the central ideas found: social representations of nurses' communication with the users of the male is externalized as difficult, different, difficult, not technical (knowledge) specific, with a dubious sense in relation to its therapeutic action, the factors examined as positive in this communication were based on the connection between professional and user look in detail and not mechanistic, in preventive actions, the dynamics of care, accessibility, participatory care, humanization, and qualification service. Whereas served as negative factors for the communication, signed on the behavioral differences of men, the feminization of nurses, lack of training for professionals in relation to the subject, prescriptive conduct and prejudice (concerns) sociocultural. Another related consolidated core strategies employed for the occurrence of such communication. Given these results, it was realized the importance of social representations for the consecration of a single language, the common understanding of reality on the nurse's communication with the user in male and determination of changes in the behavior of nurses and the user to the establishment of more effective strategies for obtaining a therapeutic communication between them

In the globalized world modern telecommunications have assumed key role within the company, causing a large increase in demand for the wireless technology of communication, which has been happening in recent years have greatly increased the number of applications using this technology. Due to this demand, new materials are developed to enable new control mechanisms and propagation of electromagnetic waves. The research to develop new technologies for wireless communication presents a multidisciplinary study that covers from the new geometries for passive antennas, active up to the development of materials for devices that improve the performance at the frequency range of operation. Recently, planar antennas have attracted interest due to their characteristics and advantages when compared with other types of antennas. In the area of mobile communications the need for antennas of this type has become increasingly used, due to intensive development, which needs to operate in multifrequency antennas and broadband. The microstrip antennas have narrow bandwidth due to the dielectric losses generated by irradiation. Another limitation is the degradation of the radiation pattern due to the generation of surface waves in the substrate. Some techniques have been developed to minimize this limitation of bandwidth, such as the study of type materials PBG - Photonic Band Gap, to form the dielectric material. This work has as main objective the development project of a slot resonator with multiple layers and use the type PBG substrate, which carried out the optimization from the numerical analysis and then designed the device initially proposed for the band electromagnetic spectrum between 3-9 GHz, which basically includes the band S to X. Was used as the dielectric material RT/Duroid 5870 and RT/Duroid 6010.LM where both are laminated ceramic-filled PTFE dielectric constants 2.33 and 10.2, respectively. Through an experimental investigation was conducted an analysis of the simulated versus measured by observing the behavior of the radiation characteristics from the height variation of the dielectric multilayer substrates. We also used the LTT method resonators structures rectangular slot with multiple layers of material photonic PBG in order to obtain the resonance frequency and the entire theory involving the electromagnetic parameters of the structure under consideration. xviii The analysis developed in this work was performed using the method LTT - Transverse Transmission Line, in the field of Fourier transform that uses a component propagating in the y direction (transverse to the real direction of propagation z), thus treating the general equations of the fields electric and magnetic and function. The PBG theory is applied to obtain the relative permittivity of the polarizations for the sep photonic composite substrates material. The results are obtained with the commercial software Ansoft HFSS, used for accurate analysis of the electromagnetic behavior of the planar device under study through the Finite Element Method (FEM). Numerical computational results are presented in graphical form in two and three dimensions, playing in the parameters of return loss, frequency of radiation and radiation diagram, radiation efficiency and surface current for the device under study, and have as substrates, photonic materials and had been simulated in an appropriate computational tool. With respect to the planar device design study are presented in the simulated and measured results that show good agreement with measurements made. These results are mainly in the identification of resonance modes and determining the characteristics of the designed device, such as resonant frequency, return loss and radiation pattern

This study aims to analyze the communication graphics of layouts of hypermedia interfaces oriented to Distance Education via the Internet. This proposal is justified by widening the offer of courses that modality and the consequent application of items of hypermedia for teaching-learning. The method of analysis involved the search nethnographic, addressed to the cycle student intermediary of the Training Program Continuing Medias in Education, and the evaluation heuristic of the interfaces of Virtual Learning Environment "E-Proinfo" and of the modules of the Cycle. This evaluation we observed the implementation of the attributes of usability and the degree of interactivity of each interface. The results revealed an inefficient implementation of the attributes of usability, which meant a consequent reduction of the levels of interactivity. As proposing the present Design Virtual Learning, a model of hypermedia layout, designed to generate usability for Virtual learning environments and extend the acquisition of literancy for students and tutors. This proposal design not hypermedia aims the demarcation of models pre-conceived, but the proposal of layout in which each element of hypermedia is applied with a view to generate a seaworthiness intuitive, more agile and efficient, in these ambients

La cultura del libro impreso impregna la vida cotidiana de los lectores durante más de cinco siglos, y de esto, hábitos y significados a cerca del libro como medio de comunicación tienen sus raÃces en la comunidad lectora, en una especie de contrato de lectura (VERÓN, 2004). Por lo tanto, creemos que es posible conjeturar que la aparición del libro digital puede cambiar las viejas prácticas en relación con el libro impreso y por eso mismo deben ser investigadas con el fin de entender este tiempo de productos reconfigurados. Consciente de ello, el tema central de nuestra investigación se basa en la comprensión de cómo los lectores de libros digitales realizan sus prácticas. Nuestro objetivo general es investigar las prácticas socioculturales de los lectores de libros digitales, con el fin de mostrar las continuidades y discontinuidades en el uso del libro en su formato impreso y digital. Con este fin, se busca 1) proponer una caracterización de la cultura del libro impreso, que es el apoyo a una asignación posible de las marcas de una cultura del libro digital, y 2) explorar los lugares de producción y oferta de los libros digitales, especialmente en Brasil, fin de delimitar en su primera configuración. Apoyamos, como propuesta metodológica, la sistematización de dimensiones culturales del libro impreso llamadas: ritualidad, simbologÃa, materialidad y forma, lo que ayudará el enfoque del empÃrico. Nuestra propuesta se basa, en varios puntos, en los investigadores de la historia del libro, insertada en el campo de la Historia Cultural (BURKE, 2008; CHARTIER, 1992, 1994, 2006; DARNTON, 1990, 2006, 2010). Adoptamos como técnica de investigación el análisis de voces, registradas a través de entrevistas en profundidad, de lectores de libros en formato digital. Antes de eso, creemos apropiado emprender un estudio exploratorio basado en la aplicación de un cuestionario online. Nuestra delimitación incluye lectores de libros digitales del curso de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande do Norte. Entre las conclusiones de esta disertación, es posible señalar que el grupo de lectores investigados está sólidamente ligado a las experiencias con los libros impresos y esto afecta en gran medida las prácticas de los libros digitales

The neurovascular system of the pulp and of the periodontium is interconnected and among the possible intercommunications between these two tissues, there is the cavo inter-radicular canal. It is a small canal that goes through any inter-radicular dentine and arises in the furca region of the multi-radicular teeth. Its predominance has been studied in the literature, by several methodologies, with divergent results. The objective of this work was to establish, in vitro, the predominance of the cavo inter-radicular canal, in human lower molars, through the diaphanization technique and dye leakage. For this research, 140 teeth (100 first and second 40 lower molars) were selected, extracted due to different reasons, belonging to a teeth bank of the Endodontics discipline of the Dentistry College at Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The teeth were preserved in formol until the moment of use and immersed in physiological solution. Had the endodontic access fulfilled and the whole external surface, except for the furcation, sealed with two layers of nail enamel. The cleaning of the pulpar chamber floor was carried out with sodium hypochlorite solution 5%, being this solution renewed every 5 minutes, during 1 hour. The teeth were immersed in Indian dye and, after drying of the dye, they had their crowns split up in the amelo-cemental junction. Then, they were examined in a stereomicroscope, where marks of the coloring were observed in the furcation and on the pulpar floor. After this recording, the sample was diaphanized and with the transparent teeth, it was possible to observe in the stereomicroscope, the true inter-radicular canals. As a result of this experiment, the presence of these canals was observed in 13 % of the first and 7, 5 % of the second evaluated molars. The study showed that both the presence of the cavo inter-radicular canal is real and the diaphanization and dye leakage is an efficient method for this type of research

A narrativa pode conectar elementos diversos e, assim, promover a construção de sentenças verticais e horizontais, frente à mediação de interlocutor. Esta pesquisa visou analisar a extensão e a organização sintática dos enunciados de narrativas construÃdas por um aluno não-falante usuário de recurso suplementar de comunicação. Previamente à construção das narrativas, selecionadas de acordo com os centros de interesse, idade, grau de escolaridade e temáticas trabalhadas na escola do aluno, sÃmbolos gráficos do Picture Communication Symbols eram confeccionados e adaptados para que, por meio destes e dos recursos verbais e não-verbais inerentes à atividade discursiva, a história pudesse ser contada, por acesso visual e auditivo, pelo interlocutor e recontada pelo aluno, após a estruturação e organização dos múltiplos signos em sentenças. Todas as interações foram filmadas e complementadas com anotações de um diário de registro contÃnuo. Após a análise das transcrições das fitas e das anotações do diário, foi possÃvel determinar três estágios de unidades significativas: 1) Caracterização ou natureza dos elementos constituintes dos enunciados das narrativas em: a) objeto; b) sÃmbolo gráfico; c) escrita; d) vocalização; e) gesto representativo; 2) Extensão dos enunciados das narrativas de 1 a 6 elementos, linearmente, e 7 ou mais elementos; 3) Organização sintática dos elementos constituintes das narrativas em sujeito, verbo e objeto isolados, em sentenças verticais, e associados, em sentenças horizontais. Ressaltou-se, assim, a ampliação e aprimoramento da organização e da estrutura sintática dos enunciados das narrativas construÃdas pelo aluno mediado pelo interlocutor.

Discutem-se as mudanças constatadas no ensino da Histologia, como a tecnologia tem sido empregada nos contextos de aprendizagem, os aspectos pedagógicos inerentes à utilização de recursos, tais como atlas digitais e microscópios virtuais, e apresenta-se pesquisa sobre o desenvolvimento de um ambiente virtual de ensino-aprendizagem de Histologia, que contou com a participação de alunos e professores em sua construção. Verificou-se que os ambientes virtuais e outros recursos didáticos baseados nas Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação (TICs) procuram atender à atual tendência de complementar a educação presencial com ferramentas de educação a distância, que podem ser utilizadas facultativamente no estudo extraclasse continuado. Concluiu-se que, embora as novas tecnologias possam contribuir para o ensino de Histologia, os materiais didáticos baseados em TICs devem se adequar às expectativas docentes e discentes e aos aspectos pedagógicos e ergonômicos, e precisam ser adotados pelos professores não como ferramentas isoladas, mas integrados às estratégias de ensino- -aprendizagem

En este trabajo nos ocupamos de la convergencia de la fotografÃa, el vÃdeo y la música, intermediado por una estación de radio en la escuela, instalada en la escuela Municipal de Djalma Maranhão, Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, en una clase de 5º año de jóvenes y adultos en el año escolar 2007. Se analizan las intervenciones causados los que participan en la vida escolar, a partir de las actividades realizadas por ellos, en la producción de programas de radio. Los procedimientos metodológicos sobre la base de la etnometodologia (COULON, 1995a, 1995b), en la investigación cualitativa (BOGDAN, BIKLEN, 1999, DENZIN y LINCOLN, 2006), participante como observador (MAY, 2004) y la investigación-acción (THIOLLENT, 1992). La comprensión de Paulo Freire en la comunicación e la educación es nuestro principal referente teórico. Los experimentos citados en los medios de comunicación revelaron varias posibilidades de mejora en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, como el aumento de la autoestima de los estudiantes, social y de inclusión educativa de personas con discapacidad, disminución de la timidez y facilitar la comunicación entre los sujetos, lo que permite el diálogo entre ellos, intervino en sus relaciones sociales, más allá de los lÃmites de la escuela. La investigación confirma, entonces, que la comunicación y la educación son parte de la misma naturaleza

O presente estudo tem como objetivos levantar dados sobre o que os indivÃduos portadores de hipertensão arterial pensam sobre a sua doença e verificar a ocorrência do processo de comunicação entre estes e os profissionais que atuam junto aos mesmos. Foram entrevistados 66 clientes, obtendo-se 73 narrativas, constatando-se que a maioria (69 narrativas) dos participantes da pesquisa faz correlação com o conceito de hipertensão arterial, ainda que de maneira pouco elaborada. Apesar de 95% dos clientes fazerem alguma referência à doença, não significa que as orientações recebidas anteriormente foram aprendidas. Espera-se que o enfermeiro por desempenhar um importante papel dentro da equipe multiprofissional, identifique as possÃveis barreiras relativas ao processo de comunicação, havendo daà a intervenção junto aos elementos que podem estar dificultando ou impedindo a compreensão necessária para que o cliente assuma seu autocuidado.

OBJETIVO: Perceber o significado de comunicação competente para enfermeiros, docentes de enfermagem, especialistas na área de comunicação. MÉTODOS: Pesquisa qualitativa exploratória tendo como questão norteadora: O que é uma comunicação competente?. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio da Análise de Conteúdo. RESULTADOS: Comunicação competente é um processo interpessoal que deve atingir o objetivo dos comunicadores; pressupõe conhecimentos básicos de comunicação; que os envolvidos tenham consciência do verbal e do não-verbal nas interações; exige clareza e objetividade; promove o autoconhecimento e possibilita uma vida mais autêntica. CONCLUSÕES: Essas significações citadas para a competência comunicativa nos remetem à necessidade de um preparo técnico e humano, a importância do ouvir e da percepção acurada do outro e possibilidade de utilização deste aprendizado como investimento no autoconhecimento e para ancorar o respeito ao próximo.

Esta pesquisa pretendeu estudar o desenvolvimento cognitivo e as explicações sobre a causalidade das doenças em crianças hospitalizadas, particularmente a influência nas explicações da experiência com doenças e da escolaridade. Participaram da pesquisa cinqûenta crianças brasileiras internadas em um hospital público, com diferentes diagnósticos e idade variando entre cinco e nove anos. O desenvolvimento cognitivo e as concepções sobre as causas das doenças foram avaliados dentro de um referencial piagetiano. Como em estudos anteriores, as crianças processaram as informações numa seqüência cognitiva previsÃvel. Entretanto, as crianças internadas mostraram atraso na aquisição da conservação, e explicações com poucos elementos subjetivos, sem referências à própria doença. As causas atribuÃdas à s doenças foram similares à s apontadas por crianças de outros paÃses. Foi estatisticamente significativa a relação entre a complexidade das explicações e o número de internações. A maioria da amostra, independente da idade e nÃvel cognitivo, atribuiu o adoecimento à desobediência, possÃvel mecanismo adaptativo ao desamparo, resultado que parece trazer implicações a serem consideradas quando se abordam pacientes infantis.

Le présent travail propose une analyse du Conseil de Communication Sociale, de son importance et de sa trajectoire. Il tente d'expliquer la raison par laquelle ce Conseil, réglementé en 1991, n'a été effectivement mis en place que 14 ans plus tard. Suite à une brève période de fonctionnement, il n'y a pas eu de renouvellement de sa gestion et, depuis décembre 2002, il demeure oisif. Cependant, le besoin de fonctionnement du Conseil est signalé par plusieurs secteurs, même si accompagné de demandes de changements para rapport à son caractère et à sa représentation.
