La terminación sur-occidental del batolito de Andorra-Mont Lluís: caracteríticas petrológicas y geoquímicas

El batolito de Andorra-Mont Lluís es un tipico representante de los granitos de emplazamiento epizonal de 10s Pirineos. En su parte sur-occidental està constituido principalmente por granodioritas biotíticas, granodioritas biotítico-hornbléndicas y granitos biotíticos. Desde un punto de vista geoquímico puede considerarse como una asociación plutónica alumino-cafémica, ligeramente férrica y calcoalcalina con una ligera tendencia subalcalina.

Caractérisation des taxons du genre Ornithogalum, sous-genre Heliocharmos (Hyacinthaceae), en Afrique du Nord et en France : analyse morphologique et biogéographique

Two species of Ornithogalum subg. Heliocharmos are present in North Africa: O. algeriense and O. kochii. These are often confused with O. umbellatum from Europe. Several populations covering the spread of variation of these species were studied biometrically using macromorphological characters. Multivariate analysis results suggest that O. kochii is close to the diploid cytotype of O. umbellatum. The diploid cytotypes are closer to the popyploid series of O. umbellatum than to O. algeriense. These results are discussed in relation to biogeography and evolution.

Literature and Mythology in Tennessee Williams's "Suddenly Last Summer": Fighting against Venus and Oedipus

The aim of this article is to analyze accurately the role played by two classical references, Venus and Oedipus, in Tennessee Williams Suddenly Last Summer, in accordance with the usual nature of studies on Classical Tradition a Greek and Roman- and focusing in this case on the relationship between literature and mythology. It is thanks to Venus and Oedipus that the playwright succeeds in showing the magnitude of mens and womens tragedy, which from his point of view is simply that they have failed to see either kindness in the face of God or to feel his loving and fatherly providence.

La Ismenodora de L'Eròtic de Plutarc. (La Cultura Occidental ha "sexualitzat" -i. e. "masculinitza"- l'Ètica?)

L'objectiu d'aquest article és, mitjançant l'anàlisi filològica acurada de l'Eròtic de Plutarc i dels arguments de Protògenes, defensor de l'amor pederàstic, mostrar l'evident sexualització de l'ètica occidental, ja que els atributs propis del cos masculí esdevenen definidors d'una ètica saludable, mentre que els atributs del cos femení defineixen la baixesa ètica.

Filó d'Alexandria i el seu De opificio mundi (LIII-LXI): tot copsant les claus de la misogínia grega i occidental en un text jueu platonitzant.

L'objectiu d'aquest article és mostrar la secular tradició misògina occidental des dels seus orígens a Grècia tot analitzant un text de l'intèrpret al·legoric de la Bíblia Filó d'Alexandria, el De opificio mundi, al qual aplica una lectura fortament platonitzant. L'anàlisi acurada dels capítols dedicats a la creació divina de la dona i les seves conseqüències mostra fins a quin punt no és possible entendre aquest text sense tenir en compte una tradició filosòfica grega ja aleshores secular.

The aim of this article is to show which are the dramatic "yields" of the inclusion of the reference to the goddess Diana in Tennessee Williams's Cat on a Hot tin Roof. In the author's opinion, it does not deal simply with a meaningful reference; on the contrary, the accurate analysis of Williams's text proves that it is a true nuclear and cohesive element of the whole drama.
