A missão numa perspectiva antropológica

Este artigo apresenta um estudo sobre as missões religiosas discutindo as produções antropológicas referentes a este tema, presentes na análise de diversos autores da antropologia da religião. A autora faz uma análise das produções acadêmicas desde meados do século passado para compreender as relações travadas entre missionários e antropólogos. Relata como os antropólogos pensam as missões e faz uma farta revisão teórica sobre as interpretações antropológicas em torno das missões.

Memórias de trabalho nas paisagens missioneiras do "antes-tempo"

O artigo em questão estabelece reflexões em torno do tema do trabalho na região missioneira gaúcha, tomando como referência o legado das missões jesuítico-guaranis e seus desdobramentos no contemporâneo, a partir das memórias das pessoas que vivem naquela porção do Estado. Para tanto, o artigo se baseia numa pesquisa de campo de cerca de um ano, que teve como um dos interesses etnográficos a tentativa de compreender os processos de transformação das paisagens na região através das ações técnico-culturais relacionadas ao universo do trabalho.

Forças armadas, orçamento e autonomia militar

Avalia-se aqui como evoluíram as relações entre governo e Forças Armadas, e o comportamento destas no interior da burocracia de Estado com base na análise dos orçamentos federais desde o governo autoritário até o atual (1964-2001). Os dados indicam um declínio lento e constante dos gastos com a defesa, entremeados por repiques elevatórios no início de novos gover­nos. De maneira geral, sugerem que os governos civis definem o padrão orça­mentário sem interferência militar, embora os recursos sejam usados sem um acompanhamento adequado das atividades castrenses. Indica-se ainda que a autonomia castrense, isto é, a sua capacidade de definir seu campo de atua­ção, as normas que a norteiam e as missões a desempenhar, pode ser revigo­rada. Essa autonomia endêmica não é fruto de escolhas militares, mas da omissão do poder civil.

Arquivo e literatura: perspectivas de acesso e difusão da memória literária no Brasil

Besides storing, the culture and science institutions in charge of the of Brazilian writers’ personal archives play such an important role on the organization and representation of the country’s literary information. In general, the target public for these collections is composed by researchers from the field of Literature once the documents produced by the writers throughout his/her life and career constitute primary research source for the artistic, historical and literary investigation. However, it is still convenient to stand out those users with no academic instruction, whose interest in such collections is justified by their looking up to the individual. In this sense, literary memory places, such as the Brazilian Literature Archive Museum – AMLB (RJ) -, the Brazilian Literature Academy – ABL – (RJ) and the Brazilian Studies Institute – IEB – (SP) turn out to be responsible for offering access to the literary archives and literary information. Thus, it is necessary to consider that databases demonstrate themselves as utter disseminators of the preservation and diffusion of the literary memory, coming up with several possibilities for cultural and scientific action in Literature. This study focuses on showing the contributions of databases towards the literary archives, the challenges and perspectives observed according to the mentioned institutions’ reality, in whose missions the discourse of the literary memory preservation is inserted.

Load transportation in brazilian territory is made difficult by a deficient highway network, result of low maintenance and lack of government supervision. The problem aggravates when we consider the transportation of indivisible loads, mainly because the brazilian highways are not prepared for such task and few companies in Brazil have the necessary equipment suited for this kind of transport. In this dissertation it will be shown the analysis of a specific equipment to transport overweight indivisible loads, called hydraulic modular multi axle trailer. From an existing project (RB.04LE-01), manufactured and homologated in Brazil, it has been studied how the components in this trailer work so it could have been possible to elaborate a new model (RB.04LE-02), with two main objectives: reduction of costs and weight with subsequent increase in the liquid load for roadway transportation. The trailer’s components analyses were made utilizing the theory of fatigue strength of materials and finite element method with the von Misses criteria for a more safety when realizing the calculations

In contemporary times, to which the media is centralized in the hands of a few, it is necessary to understand and discuss its democratization. In this situation it surges a theory that is still maturing, Communication Public, which reflects the communication by the optic of citizen participation. In this sense, the research has as objective the reflection about democracy, the centrality and conglomeration media in society and what is affecting public broadcast organizations. So has too the intention to defend the performance of professional public relations in this context, due to its humanistic and strategic characteristic. Through literature review, observation of programming of Radio FM UNESP Bauru and interviews with employees, it is perceived that the vehicle radio for its intrinsic characteristics has great potential democratization, when this character in public can promote citizenship. There was also observed the demand for professional public relations, assisting the organization to recognize themselves as a social institution, defining its mission, its goals, its vision and policies, with objective to make two-way symmetrical communication to the public
