El PFC tracte de la implementació d'un web de serveis informàtics basat en software de codi obert i per tal de emprendre-ho i tirar endavant com a negoci, s'ha dut a terme un estudi de les tecnologies i un pla d'empresa, mirant de treu-re la màxima rendibilitat al web.Els serveis escollits com a model de negoci són bàsicament quatre: el disseny web, el disseny de webs e-commerce o tendes virtuals, la implementació de gestors de recursos d'empresa coneguts com ERP (de l'anglès Enterprise Resources Planning), i la implementació de gestors de relacions amb els clients coneguts com CRM (de l'anglès Customer Relationship Management).El primer capítol es una introducció, el segon capítol tracta de el software lliure, que és, quins models de negoci aporta i els tipus de llicència existents, el tercer capítol es un pla d'empresa on es detalla els serveis que oferirem i com ho gestionarem, el quart capítol tracta de les tecnologies utilitzades i el per que, i finalment unes conclusions.La web, netsolucion.com, que s'ha dissenyat amb Wordpress, implica no tan sols el haver d'estudiar i d'aprendre aquesta plataforma sinó també totes les que s'ofereixen com a serveis, que son:Gestor de Bases de Dades MySQL i PHP per al disseny web, Prestashop per al disseny de tendes virtuals, OpenERP per a la implementació dels gestors de recursos de empresa (ERP's) i els gestors de relacions amb els clients (CRM's).

El World-Wide Web Consortium (W3C), organisme encarregat de la normalització del web, va començar a preocupar-se fa uns anys dels problemes d'accessibilitat que poden presentar les pàgines web a les persones amb discapacitats. Com a resultat d'aquesta preocupació, va posar en marxa la Iniciativa sobre Accessibilitat al Web (WAI), amb el fi d'estudiar el tema i elaborar directrius d'actuació i altres materials d'ajuda. El document més important sorgit de la Iniciativa són les Directrius per a l'accessibilitat al contingut de pàgines web, versió 1.0, que ja va ser traduït al català en aquesta mateixa revista.2 Com a complement, el W3C ha publicat altres documents que volen facilitar-ne la implementació; en destaca el document que a continuació publiquem traduït, la Taula de punts de verificació de les Directrius per a l'accessibilitat al contingut de pàgines web, versió 1.0. La Taula de punts de verificació està pensada per actuar com un annex a les Directrius; sota la forma de llista de control (checklist) presenta un llistat classificat per nivells de prioritat de les pautes que s'haurien de seguir per crear pàgines web accessibles per tothom. La Taula vol ser, per tant, una eina ràpida per a la detecció manual dels problemes que puguin aparèixer, i que es descriuen amb més detalls a les Directrius.

This paper presents a thermal modeling for power management of a new three-dimensional (3-D) thinned dies stacking process. Besides the high concentration of power dissipating sources, which is the direct consequence of the very interesting integration efficiency increase, this new ultra-compact packaging technology can suffer of the poor thermal conductivity (about 700 times smaller than silicon one) of the benzocyclobutene (BCB) used as both adhesive and planarization layers in each level of the stack. Thermal simulation was conducted using three-dimensional (3-D) FEM tool to analyze the specific behaviors in such stacked structure and to optimize the design rules. This study first describes the heat transfer limitation through the vertical path by examining particularly the case of the high dissipating sources under small area. First results of characterization in transient regime by means of dedicated test device mounted in single level structure are presented. For the design optimization, the thermal draining capabilities of a copper grid or full copper plate embedded in the intermediate layer of stacked structure are evaluated as a function of the technological parameters and the physical properties. It is shown an interest for the transverse heat extraction under the buffer devices dissipating most the power and generally localized in the peripheral zone, and for the temperature uniformization, by heat spreading mechanism, in the localized regions where the attachment of the thin die is altered. Finally, all conclusions of this analysis are used for the quantitative projections of the thermal performance of a first demonstrator based on a three-levels stacking structure for space application.

Economy, and consequently trade, is a fundamental part of human social organization which, until now, has not been studied within the network modeling framework. Here we present the first, to the best of our knowledge, empirical characterization of the world trade web, that is, the network built upon the trade relationships between different countries in the world. This network displays the typical properties of complex networks, namely, scale-free degree distribution, the small-world property, a high clustering coefficient, and, in addition, degree-degree correlation between different vertices. All these properties make the world trade web a complex network, which is far from being well described through a classical random network description.

Traffic safety engineers are among the early adopters of Bayesian statistical tools for analyzing crash data. As in many other areas of application, empirical Bayes methods were their first choice, perhaps because they represent an intuitively appealing, yet relatively easy to implement alternative to purely classical approaches. With the enormous progress in numerical methods made in recent years and with the availability of free, easy to use software that permits implementing a fully Bayesian approach, however, there is now ample justification to progress towards fully Bayesian analyses of crash data. The fully Bayesian approach, in particular as implemented via multi-level hierarchical models, has many advantages over the empirical Bayes approach. In a full Bayesian analysis, prior information and all available data are seamlessly integrated into posterior distributions on which practitioners can base their inferences. All uncertainties are thus accounted for in the analyses and there is no need to pre-process data to obtain Safety Performance Functions and other such prior estimates of the effect of covariates on the outcome of interest. In this slight, fully Bayesian methods may well be less costly to implement and may result in safety estimates with more realistic standard errors. In this manuscript, we present the full Bayesian approach to analyzing traffic safety data and focus on highlighting the differences between the empirical Bayes and the full Bayes approaches. We use an illustrative example to discuss a step-by-step Bayesian analysis of the data and to show some of the types of inferences that are possible within the full Bayesian framework.

Rigorous quantum dynamics calculations of reaction rates and initial state-selected reaction probabilities of polyatomic reactions can be efficiently performed within the quantum transition state concept employing flux correlation functions and wave packet propagation utilizing the multi-configurational time-dependent Hartree approach. Here, analytical formulas and a numerical scheme extending this approach to the calculation of state-to-state reaction probabilities are presented. The formulas derived facilitate the use of three different dividing surfaces: two dividing surfaces located in the product and reactant asymptotic region facilitate full state resolution while a third dividing surface placed in the transition state region can be used to define an additional flux operator. The eigenstates of the corresponding thermal flux operator then correspond to vibrational states of the activated complex. Transforming these states to reactant and product coordinates and propagating them into the respective asymptotic region, the full scattering matrix can be obtained. To illustrate the new approach, test calculations study the D + H2(ν, j) → HD(ν′, j′) + H reaction for J = 0.

Schizotypy, defined in terms of commonly occurring personality traits related to the schizophrenia spectrum, has been an important construct for understanding the neurodevelopment and stress-diathesis of schizophrenia. However, as schizotypy nears its sixth decade of application, it is important to acknowledge its impressively rich literature accumulating outside of schizophrenia research. In this article, we make the case that schizotypy has considerable potential as a conceptual framework for understanding individual differences in affective and social functions beyond those directly involved in schizophrenia spectrum pathology. This case is predicated on (a) a burgeoning literature noting anomalies in a wide range of social functioning, affiliative, positive and negative emotional, expressive, and social cognitive systems, (b) practical and methodological features associated with schizotypy research that help facilitate empirical investigation, and (c) close ties to theoretical constructs of central importance to affective and social science (eg, stress diathesis, neural compensation). We highlight recent schizotypy research, ie providing insight into the nature of affective and social systems more generally. This includes current efforts to clarify the neurodevelopmental, neurobiological, and psychological underpinnings of affiliative drives, hedonic capacity, social cognition, and stress responsivity systems. Additionally, we discuss neural compensatory and resilience factors that may mitigate the expression of stress-diathesis and functional outcome, and highlight schizotypy's potential role for understanding cultural determinants of social and affective functions.

El proyecto consiste principalmente en definir y desarrollar una herramienta de gestión de metadatos de negocio para los indicadores clave de rendimiento. Actualmente no existe ninguna herramienta BI que permita almacenar información de negocio más allá de las especificaciones técnicas. Dicha aplicación, actuará como repositorio centralizado de la definición de los indicadores clave de negocio de la compañia incluyendo información del metadato del indicador, (tal como, responsable del indicador, dimensiones de análisis, profundidad histórica, frecuencia de actualización, procesos de negocio implicados, etc.).

Este proyecto consiste en el desarrollo de una aplicación informática que permite gestionar de forma automatizada y consistente los datos requeridos para la actividad docente de un profesor universitario. La aplicación permite gestionar: plan docente, asignaturas, horario docente, calendario de exámenes y proyectos final de carrera. Todas estas opciones tienen las funciones de, agregar, buscar, modificar y eliminar datos. Además tiene otras opciones como calendario docente y webs, cuya finalidad será consultar, de forma directa, páginas web de interés docente. Finalmente, la opción material docente tendrá como finalidad, crear, modificar y eliminar ficheros de diferente formato (word, excel, powerpoint, pdf) asociados a las asignaturas registradas en la aplicación. La aplicación se ha implementado en el sistema operativo Windows en el lenguaje de programación Java. Los datos utilizados se almacenan en la base de datos MySql Workbench. Para las validaciones de entrada de datos se ha utilizado JavaScript y JQuery. El diseño de la interfaz se ha llevado a cabo con Java Server Pages, Html, Css y framework Struts.

PURPOSE: Pharmacovigilance methods have advanced greatly during the last decades, making post-market drug assessment an essential drug evaluation component. These methods mainly rely on the use of spontaneous reporting systems and health information databases to collect expertise from huge amounts of real-world reports. The EU-ADR Web Platform was built to further facilitate accessing, monitoring and exploring these data, enabling an in-depth analysis of adverse drug reactions risks.METHODS: The EU-ADR Web Platform exploits the wealth of data collected within a large-scale European initiative, the EU-ADR project. Millions of electronic health records, provided by national health agencies, are mined for specific drug events, which are correlated with literature, protein and pathway data, resulting in a rich drug-event dataset. Next, advanced distributed computing methods are tailored to coordinate the execution of data-mining and statistical analysis tasks. This permits obtaining a ranked drug-event list, removing spurious entries and highlighting relationships with high risk potential.RESULTS: The EU-ADR Web Platform is an open workspace for the integrated analysis of pharmacovigilance datasets. Using this software, researchers can access a variety of tools provided by distinct partners in a single centralized environment. Besides performing standalone drug-event assessments, they can also control the pipeline for an improved batch analysis of custom datasets. Drug-event pairs can be substantiated and statistically analysed within the platform's innovative working environment.CONCLUSIONS: A pioneering workspace that helps in explaining the biological path of adverse drug reactions was developed within the EU-ADR project consortium. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) mandated utilizing the Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) approach for all new bridges initiated in the United States after October 1, 2007. As a result, there has been a progressive move among state Departments of Transportation (DOTs) toward an increased use of the LRFD in geotechnical design practices. For the above reasons, the Iowa Highway Research Board (IHRB) sponsored three research projects: TR-573, TR-583 and TR-584. The research information is summarized in the project web site (http://srg.cce.iastate.edu/lrfd/). Two reports of total four volumes have been published. Report volume I by Roling et al. (2010) described the development of a user-friendly and electronic database (PILOT). Report volume II by Ng et al. (2011) summarized the 10 full-scale field tests conducted throughout Iowa and data analyses. This report presents the development of regionally calibrated LRFD resistance factors for bridge pile foundations in Iowa based on reliability theory, focusing on the strength limit states and incorporating the construction control aspects and soil setup into the design process. The calibration framework was selected to follow the guidelines provided by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), taking into consideration the current local practices. The resistance factors were developed for general and in-house static analysis methods used for the design of pile foundations as well as for dynamic analysis methods and dynamic formulas used for construction control. The following notable benefits to the bridge foundation design were attained in this project: 1) comprehensive design tables and charts were developed to facilitate the implementation of the LRFD approach, ensuring uniform reliability and consistency in the design and construction processes of bridge pile foundations; 2) the results showed a substantial gain in the factored capacity compared to the 2008 AASHTO-LRFD recommendations; and 3) contribution to the existing knowledge, thereby advancing the foundation design and construction practices in Iowa and the nation.

La finalitat d’aquest projecte és la realització d’un visor cartogràfic web, tot i que per fer-ho s’ha de crear una aplicació que transfereix dades automàticament des d’una base de dades de Microsoft Acces a MySQL mitjançant Visual Basic 2010 Express. Per realitzar el visor cartogràfic web s’ha utilitzat MapServer com servidor de mapes, el llenguatge de programació Javascript i les llibreries OpenLayers, ExtJS i GeoExt. Per últim es plantegen una sèrie de possibles millores del visor, tant a nivell de tecnologies utilitzades com de funcionalitats

Aquest projecte consisteix en la realització d'un framework de persistència per realitzar l'enllaç entre el model de dades relacional i el model de dades orientat a objectes. L'aplicació que implementarem per tal de provar el nostre framework consisteix en l'adaptació web d'un software financer que serveix per tenir un control de la tresoreria.
