Abstract This paper focuses on how marketers of sporting goods proceed to optimize the influence of the store on purchasing behaviour. Their expertise is based on a combination of data and experiences that parallels the sociological methods. Their analysis of purchasing situations aloud to understand how they can influence behaviours through retailing places, while trying to guide consumers' perception of the products. More broadly, they contribute to a better understanding of consumer's decisions. Keywords: sports, retail, store, marketing, sociology.

This paper presents a pattern recognition method focused on paintings images. The purpose is construct a system able to recognize authors or art styles based on common elements of his work (here called patterns). The method is based on comparing images that contain the same or similar patterns. It uses different computer vision techniques, like SIFT and SURF, to describe the patterns in descriptors, K-Means to classify and simplify these descriptors, and RANSAC to determine and detect good results. The method are good to find patterns of known images but not so good if they are not.

Blood pressure is lowered for a few hours after aerobic exercise, but also after resistance exercise, although for a shorter period of time. An exercise program can significantly lower resting and ambulatory BP measurements. Multiple mechanisms interact for the BP lowering effect, such as decreased total peripheral resistance, enhanced endothelial function, diminished sympathetic or rennin plasmatic activity, structural vascular modifications and baroreceptor reflex modulation. New exercises like eccentric or isometric (handgrip) contractions are promising. Resistance activities have long been considered dangerous for blood vessels because of increased arterial stiffness, but if the intensity remains moderate and aerobic exercises are integrated, then the effects are altogether beneficial.

We report a 14-year-old boy who presented with vision loss secondary to peripapillary neovascular membrane (PPNVM) as the initial and only symptom of papilledema secondary to idiopathic intracranial hypertension. After one lumbar puncture, visual acuity progressively recovered during the course of 1 week and further improved with the administration of oral acetazolamide. One year after the onset of vision loss, the patient's visual acuity had recovered to baseline measurements. The previously active PPNVM had involuted into a residual peripapillary fibrotic scar. To our knowledge, this is the first report of PPNVM complicating idiopathic intracranial hypertension in a child.
