采用非线性梁模型,充分考虑张力腿轴向与流向的耦合效应及平台运动对张力腿的作用,运用Galerkin法进行分析求解,研究不同的长径比(L/D)情况下,弯曲刚度和非线性耦合效应的影响,以期得到更适用于实际的张力腿简化模型.

平台运动对张力腿的非线性动力响应具有显著的影响.提出了新的更加符合实际的边界条件,分别采用线性的 Euler-Bernoulli梁和非线性梁模型,分析了在不同的张力腿长度和平台激励条件下,线性张力腿模型与非线性模型在预测其动力响应时所得结果的差异.为了保证数值计算的正确性和可靠性,运用了两种不同的计算方法;Galerkin法,有限差分法进行数值求解.结果表明:非线性模型所得的张力腿流向响应幅值要比线性模型的小,且随着张力腿长度以及平台纵荡幅值的增加,非线性模型与线性模型的预测结果之间的差异会变得越来越显著.

与一阶无限小位移情况不同,张力腿平台(TLP)发生有限位移时,所受外力与响应耦合,运动方程也必须在瞬时位置建立.建立了有限位移情况下张力腿平台非线性动力响应分析模型,其中考虑了由六自由度有限位移引起的多种非线性因素,如各自由度之间的耦合、瞬时位置、瞬时湿表面等;还包括自由表面效应、粘性力等因素引起的非线性.推导出张力腿平台六自由度有限运动非线性控制方程.对一个名为“ISSC TLP”的典型张力腿平台进行了数值计算,求得该平台在规则波作用下的六自由度运动响应.用退化到线性范围的解与已有解进行了对比,吻合良好.数值结果表明,综合考虑非线性因素后响应有明显改变

A vortex-induced vibration (VIV) model is presented for predicting the nonlinear dynamic response of submerged floating tunnel (SFT) tethers which are subjected to wave, current and tunnel oscillatory displacements at their upper end in horizontal and vertical directions. A nonlinear fluid force formula is introduced in this model, and the effect of the nonlinearity of tether is investigated. First, the tunnel is stationary and the tether vibrates due to the vortices shedding. The calculated results show that the cross-flow amplitude of VIV decreases compared with the linear model. However the in-line amplitude of VIV increases. Next, the periodical oscillation of tunnel is considered. The oscillation caused by wave forces plays the roles of parametric exciter and forcing exciter to the VIV of tether. The time history of displacement of the tether mid-span is obtained by the proposed model. It is shown that the in-line amplitude increases obviously and the corresponding frequency is changed. The cross-flow amplitude exhibits a periodic behavior.

Processos de produção precisam ser avaliados continuamente para que funcionem de modo mais eficaz e eficiente possível. Um conjunto de ferramentas utilizado para tal finalidade é denominado controle estatístico de processos (CEP). Através de ferramentas do CEP, o monitoramento pode ser realizado periodicamente. A ferramenta mais importante do CEP é o gráfico de controle. Nesta tese, foca-se no monitoramento de uma variável resposta, por meio dos parâmetros ou coeficientes de um modelo de regressão linear simples. Propõe-se gráficos de controle χ2 adaptativos para o monitoramento dos coeficientes do modelo de regressão linear simples. Mais especificamente, são desenvolvidos sete gráficos de controle χ2 adaptativos para o monitoramento de perfis lineares, a saber: gráfico com tamanho de amostra variável; intervalo de amostragem variável; limites de controle e de advertência variáveis; tamanho de amostra e intervalo de amostragem variáveis; tamanho de amostra e limites variáveis; intervalo de amostragem e limites variáveis e por fim, com todos os parâmetros de projeto variáveis. Medidas de desempenho dos gráficos propostos foram obtidas através de propriedades de cadeia de Markov, tanto para a situação zero-state como para a steady-state, verificando-se uma diminuição do tempo médio até um sinal no caso de desvios pequenos a moderados nos coeficientes do modelo de regressão do processo de produção. Os gráficos propostos foram aplicados a um exemplo de um processo de fabricação de semicondutores. Além disso, uma análise de sensibilidade dos mesmos é feita em função de desvios de diferentes magnitudes nos parâmetros do processo, a saber, no intercepto e na inclinação, comparando-se o desempenho entre os gráficos desenvolvidos e também com o gráfico χ2 com parâmetros fixos. Os gráficos propostos nesta tese são adequados para vários tipos de aplicações. Neste trabalho também foi considerado características de qualidade as quais são representadas por um modelo de regressão não-linear. Para o modelo de regressão não-linear considerado, a proposta é utilizar um método que divide o perfil não-linear em partes lineares, mais especificamente, um algoritmo para este fim, proposto na literatura, foi utilizado. Desta forma, foi possível validar a técnica proposta, mostrando que a mesma é robusta no sentido que permite tipos diferentes de perfis não-lineares. Aproxima-se, portanto um perfil não-linear por perfis lineares por partes, o que proporciona o monitoramento de cada perfil linear por gráficos de controle, como os gráficos de controle desenvolvidos nesta tese. Ademais apresenta-se a metodologia de decompor um perfil não-linear em partes lineares de forma detalhada e completa, abrindo espaço para ampla utilização.

Atualmente, o crescimento dos problemas de vibrações excessivas sobre pisos mistos (aço-concreto) tem conduzido à necessidade de desenvolvimento de critérios específicos para projetos estruturais submetidos à ação de atividades humanas rítmicas. Com base no desenvolvimento desta dissertação de mestrado, objetiva-se, principalmente, verificar a influência das ligações estruturais (ligações viga-viga), sobre a resposta dinâmica não-linear de pisos mistos (aço-concreto) de edificações, quando submetidos a cargas dinâmicas humanas rítmicas. Deste modo, o carregamento dinâmico empregado para a simulação das atividades humanas sobre o modelo estrutural investigado foi obtido através de testes experimentais com indivíduos praticando atividades rítmicas e não rítmicas. O modelo analisado nesta dissertação corresponde a um piso misto (aço-concreto) com uma área total de 1600m2 e consiste de um ambiente onde serão desenvolvidas atividades de ginástica aeróbica. O sistema estrutural é constituído por lajes de concreto armado apoiadas sobre vigas de aço, simulando o comportamento de um sistema estrutural misto (aço-concreto) com interação total. A metodologia de análise desenvolvida emprega técnicas usuais de discretização presentes no método dos elementos finitos, com base no emprego do programa ANSYS. A modelagem do sistema contempla ligações estruturais do tipo rígidas, semirrígidas e flexíveis. Os valores das acelerações de pico foram comparados com os limites recomendados por normas de projeto, baseando-se em critérios de conforto humano. As conclusões alcançadas ao longo deste trabalho de pesquisa revelam que as ligações estruturais do tipo viga-viga não apresentam influência significativa, no que diz respeito a resposta dinâmica não-linear da estrutura. Por outro lado, as acelerações de pico obtidas com base na análise dinâmica não-linear apresentam valores elevados indicando que o piso misto (aço-concreto) investigado apresenta problemas de vibração excessiva inerentes ao conforto humano.

Deposição é um fenômeno indesejável que ocorre na superfície dos trocadores de calor ao longo de sua operação, ocasionando redução na efetividade térmica e aumento da resistência ao escoamento nestes equipamentos. Estes efeitos trazem grandes consequências econômicas e ambientais, devido ao aumento dos custos operacionais (energia adicional é requerida), aumento dos custos de projeto (demanda por equipamentos de maior área de troca térmica), limitações hidráulicas (que pode levar a uma diminuição da carga processada) e aumento das emissões (aumento da queima de combustíveis fósseis para suprir a energia adicional requerida). Neste contexto, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo fornecer ferramentas computacionais robustas que apliquem técnicas de otimização para o gerenciamento da deposição em redes de trocadores de calor, visando minimizar os seus efeitos negativos. Estas ferramentas foram desenvolvidas utilizando programação matemática no ambiente computacional GAMS, e três abordagens distintas para a resolução do problema da deposição foram pesquisadas. Uma delas consiste na identificação do conjunto ótimo de trocadores de calor a serem limpos durante uma parada para manutenção da planta, visando restaurar a carga térmica nesses equipamentos através da remoção dos depósitos existentes. Já as duas outras abordagens consistem em otimizar a distribuição das vazões das correntes ao longo de ramais paralelos, uma de forma estacionária e a outra de forma dinâmica, visando maximizar a recuperação de energia ao longo da rede. O desempenho destas três abordagens é ilustrado através de um conjunto de exemplos de redes de trocadores de calor, onde os ganhos reais obtidos com estas ferramentas de otimização desenvolvidas são demonstrados
Influence of soak time and fish accumulation on catches of reef fishes in a multispecies trap survey

Catch rates from fishery-independent surveys often are assumed to vary in proportion to the actual abundance of a population, but this approach assumes that the catchability coefficient (q) is constant. When fish accumulate in a gear, the rate at which the gear catches fish can decline, and, as a result, catch asymptotes and q declines with longer fishing times. We used data from long-term trap surveys (1990–2011) in the southeastern U.S. Atlantic to determine whether traps saturated for 8 reef fish species because of the amount of time traps soaked or the level of fish accumulation (the total number of individuals of all fish species caught in a trap). We used a delta-generalized-additive model to relate the catch of each species to a variety of predictor variables to determine how catch was influenced by soak time and fish accumulation after accounting for variability in catch due to the other predictor variables in the model. We found evidence of trap saturation for all 8 reef fish species examined. Traps became saturated for most species across the range of soak times examined, but trap saturation occurred for 3 fish species because of fish accumulation levels in the trap. Our results indicate that, to infer relative abundance levels from catch data, future studies should standardize catch or catch rates with nonlinear regression models that incorporate soak time, fish accumulation, and any other predictor variable that may ultimately influence catch. Determination of the exact mechanisms that cause trap saturation is a critical need for accurate stock assessment, and our results indicate that these mechanisms may vary considerably among species.

This paper describes the application of variable-horizon model predictive control to trajectory generation in surface excavation. A nonlinear dynamic model of a surface mining machine digging in oil sand is developed as a test platform. This model is then stabilised with an inner-loop controller before being linearised to generate a prediction model. The linear model is used to design a predictive controller for trajectory generation. A variable horizon formulation is augmented with extra terms in the cost function to allow more control over digging, whilst still preserving the guarantee of finite-time completion. Simulations show the generation of realistic trajectories, motivating new applications of variable horizon MPC for autonomy that go beyond the realm of vehicle path planning. ©2010 IEEE.

Numerical methods based on the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) and Large Eddy Simulation (LES) equations are applied to the thermal prediction of flows representative of those found in and around electronics systems and components. Low Reynolds number flows through a heated ribbed channel, around a heated cube and within a complex electronics system case are investigated using linear and nonlinear LES models, hybrid RANS-LES and RANS-Numerical-LES (RANS-NLES) methods. Flow and heat transfer predictions using these techniques are in good agreement with each other and experimental data for a range of grid resolutions. Using second order central differences, the RANS-NLES method performs well for all simulations. © 2011 Elsevier Inc.

Abstract Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) and hybrid Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes–LES (RANS–LES) methods are applied to a turbine blade ribbed internal duct with a 180° bend containing 24 pairs of ribs. Flow and heat transfer predictions are compared with experimental data and found to be in agreement. The choice of LES model is found to be of minor importance as the flow is dominated by large geometric scale structures. This is in contrast to several linear and nonlinear RANS models, which display turbulence model sensitivity. For LES, the influence of inlet turbulence is also tested and has a minor impact due to the strong turbulence generated by the ribs. Large scale turbulent motions destroy any classical boundary layer reducing near wall grid requirements. The wake-type flow structure makes this and similar flows nearly Reynolds number independent, allowing a range of flows to be studied at similar cost. Hence LES is a relatively cheap method for obtaining accurate heat transfer predictions in these types of flows.

This paper studies the converter rating requirement of a Brushless Doubly-Fed Induction Generator for wind turbine applications by considering practical constraints such as generator torque-speed requirement, reactive power management and grid low-voltage ride-through (LVRT). Practical data have been used to obtain a realistic system model of a Brushless DFIG wind turbine using steady-state and dynamic models. A converter rating optimization is performed based on the given constraints. The converter current and voltage requirements are examined and the resulting inverter rating is compared to optimization algorithm results. In addition, the effects of rotor leakage inductance on LVRT performance and hence converter rating is investigated.

猪场废水COD浓度高、氨氮浓度高、悬浮物浓度高,已成为农村面源污染的主要来源,并严重威胁到农村饮用水安全。猪场废水氨氮浓度高、处理难度大,如何采用经济高效的方法,去除氨氮使其达到排放标准,一直是猪场废水处理中面临的重要难题。 厌氧氨氧化是近年受到国内外水处理研究者广泛关注的新型生物脱氮技术,具有不需要外加有机碳源、节省供氧量、降低能耗等优点。虽然国内外研究者对厌氧氨氧化过程的脱氮机理、厌氧氨氧化菌的生理生化特性等进行了多方面的研究,但已有的报道大多以模拟废水为研究对象,以猪场废水为研究对象的报道,在国内外文献中极少有报导。 本论文以猪场废水为主要研究对象,考察了猪场废水的亚硝化过程、厌氧氨氧化的启动过程,并对亚硝化和厌氧氨氧化联合用于猪场废水脱氮进行了探索。 1.论文首先研究了猪场废水的亚硝化过程,考察了废水水质和主要运行条件对亚硝化过程的影响。实验表明:(1)亚硝化阶段反应时间为8到10h时,出水中氨氮和亚硝酸盐浓度比可达到1:1~1:1.23,满足厌氧氨氧化反应对二者比例的要求;达到前述要求时,氨氮去除率达到58.3~65.6 %,亚硝化率在整个过程均保持在97 %以上,COD去除率在59.2~68.6 %;(2)曝气量(溶解氧)对亚硝化过程影响显著,随着曝气量增大,达到厌氧氨氧化要求的氨氮与亚硝酸盐氮浓度比例所需水力停留时间τ越短,pH出现明显下降的时间越短;(3)τ对应的pH在7.8~8.1之间,无需进行pH调节即可满足厌氧氨氧化反应对pH的要求;(4)氨氮和COD降解过程遵循一级反应动力学,氨氮和COD降解的速率常数分别为0.0656~0.0724 1/h和0.0491~0.0664 1/h。 2.在进行亚硝化过程研究的同时,以模拟废水为试验对象,进行厌氧氨氧化启动研究。以反硝化污泥和养殖厂储水池厌氧底泥的混合污泥作为接种污泥,历时大约100天,培育出具有厌氧氨氧化活性的污泥,氨氮和亚硝酸盐氮最高进水浓度分别为223.8 mg/L和171.4 mg/L,去除率最高分别达48%和41.5%,此时二者消耗比例为1.33:1。 3.在猪场废水的亚硝化研究完成和厌氧氨氧化过程初步启动成功后,在模拟废水中逐步加入猪场废水的亚硝化处理出水,逐步实现亚硝化和厌氧氨氧化的组合。亚硝化出水添加到厌氧反应器后,厌氧氨氧化反应仍可继续进行,且去除效率逐步提高。研究发现添加的亚硝化出水中携带的亚硝化细菌在厌氧氨氧化菌膜外层生长并累积,增加了厌氧氨氧化反应基质的传质阻力,妨碍了厌氧氨氧化效率的提高。 4.亚硝化-厌氧氨氧化实际工程应用探索中,生物接触氧化池可在有效去除废水中的有机物的同时实现亚硝化,出水中氨氮和亚硝酸盐比例平均为1.10,可满足后续厌氧氨氧化的要求;在适宜的进水浓度和温度下,ABR池出现了厌氧氨氧化启动的迹象;研究同时发现,水质的波动和气温的变化是工程中影响厌氧氨氧化菌活性的重要因素。 论文的主要创新点在于:(1)以猪场废水为研究对象,以实现厌氧氨氧化为目标,对亚硝化过程进行了比较详细的考察,获得了亚硝化出水满足厌氧氨氧化要求的工艺条件,通过对其COD和氨氮降解过程的考察,得出亚硝化阶段COD降解和氨氮去除的动力学模型;(2)对亚硝化-厌氧氨氧化处理猪场废水进行了探索,确立了影响其污染物去除率稳定的重要因素。 论文的上述研究成果,为厌氧氨氧化技术的实用性研究提供理论依据。 Piggery wastewater, which is characterized by high concentration of COD、ammonium and suspend substance, has become a most important source of non-point source pollution and also severely threats drinking water security in rural area. How to discharge piggery wastewater with the ammonium concentration meeting standard by economical and effective method? This is the most urgent problem in piggery wastewater treatment. As a new biological nitrogen removal technology, Anammox process has been paid more and more attention by researchers all over the world. Anammox has advantages of no need of organic carbon addition, low oxygen consumption and energy consumption. Plenty of investigations have been carried out to the mechanism, physiological and biochemical characteristic of bacteria about Anammox. Most of researches focused on synthetic wastewater, there is rare report about its application in piggery wastewater. In this paper,experimental studies were performed to investigate Sharon process in treatment of piggery wastewater,the start up process of Annammox using synthetic wastewater were studied, the feasibility of applying Sharon-Anammox process in the nitrogen removal of piggery wastewater was evaluated. 1. Sharon process of piggery wastewater was firstly investigated to analyze the effects of water quality and main running parameters, which meet the NH4+-N to NO2--N ratio requirement of successive Anammox. Results showed: (1)During Sharon Process,after 8~10 hours’ reaction the NH4+-N to NO2--N ratio in effluent reached 1:1.0~1:1.23, when the removal percentage of NH4+-N was 58.3~65.6 %, a semi-nitration rate of above 97 % was achieved during the process; meanwhile 59.2~68.6 % of the COD was also removed. (2)The aeration rate(oxygen) had obvious effect on the hydraulic retention time(τ) which met the NH4+-N to NO2--N ratio requirement of Anammox. As aeration rate increased, the hydraulic retention time(τ) was shortened. (3) The pH corresponding to τ was between 7.8 and 8.1, thus it needed no artificial adjustment. (4) The reduction of ammonia and COD followed the first-order reaction kinetics. The velocity constants of ammonia and COD were 0.0656~0.0724 1/h and 0.0491~0.0664 1/h, respectively. 2. The startup of Anammox process using the artificial wastewater was performed simultaneously with Sharon. The aim was to investigate the running parameters of Anammox and make foundation for the combination stage. By using the mixture of denitrifying sludge and anaerobic sludge in tank of the breeding factory, sludge of Anammox activity was cultivated in UASB after 100 days. The removal percentage of NH4+-N and NO2-N were up to 48% and 41.5%, respectively, when the NH4+-N and NO2-N influent concentration were 223.8 mg/L and 171.4 mg/L, respectively, the NH4+-N and NO2-N removal rate was 1.33:1. 3. After investigation of Sharon and startup of Anammox, effluent of Sharon process was added into the synthetic wastewater to combine Sharon and Anammox step by step. It took some time after the addition of Sharon effluent that Anammox reaction continued and the removal rate kept increasing. It indicated that nitrifying bacteria were carried by the Sharon effluent cumulated in the outer layer of Anammox. This enhanced transfer resistance of Anammox reaction and the increasing removal rate was restrained. 4. In the bio-contact oxidation pond of practical project, Sharon process were carried out successfully and organic compounds were removed effectively. An average NO2-N/ NH4+-N rate of 1:1.0 was achieved in the effluent, which met the requirement of successive Anammox. Under condition of suitable influent concentration and temperature, there was evidence that Anammox could start up in ABR. The variety of wastewater and temperature had great affects on Anammox activity in practical engineering. Innovation of this paper: (1) The Sharon process for treating piggery wastewater was discussed in details. Technological parameters that met requirement of Anammox were obtained. The dynamic models of COD and ammonium removal in the process were educed. (2) Sharon-Ananmmox for treatment of piggery wastewater was investigated, and the primary influencing factors was studied. This paper could be a theoretical consult for research of Anammox utility.

We investigate the solitons in the CPN supercript stop model in terms of the decomposition of gauge potential. Based on the phi-mapping topological current theory, the charge and position of solitons is determined by the properties of the typical component. Furthermore, the motion and the bifurcation of multi-soliton is discussed. And the knotted solitons in high dimension is explored also.
