Projeto de interveção: ação multidisciplinar de educação em saúde para prevenção do câncer do adulto

Dentre os cânceres que acometem a população adulta, destacam-se o câncer de próstata, colo uterino e mama. A equipe de Estratégia Saúde da Família tem papel fundamental, não apenas oferecendo auxílio diagnóstico, tratamento e cuidados ao paciente, como também promovendo ações educativas e de conscientização, dando ênfase à detecção precoce, uma vez que as pesquisas indicam ser esta de suma importância para o prognóstico positivo. Considerando que promoção da saúde é capacitar o cidadão para que ele faça escolhas conscientes, este projeto de intervenção objetivou, por meio de ações de educação em saúde, fortalecer o autocuidado, com vistas à adesão da população adulta e idosa da área de abrangência de uma Estratégia Saúde da Família de um município do interior do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul aos exames preventivos do câncer no adulto, em especial o câncer de mama, colo uterino e próstata. A metodologia foi baseada no método do Arco de Maguerez, criado por Charles Maguerez e apresentado por Juan Díaz Bordenave e Adair Martins Pereira, mediante cinco etapas: observação da realidade; construção de maquete ou ponto-chave dos problemas; fundamentação teórica do problema; hipóteses de soluções e propostas de soluções; e aplicabilidade à realidade. Nas oficinas, utilizaram-se metodologias ativas de ensino-aprendizagem, valorizando as experiências e os saberes trazidos na construção do conhecimento. Como resultados identificaram-se desdobramentos dos temas discutidos nas oficinas em vários espaços da comunidade por considerável período pós-oficinas, aumento da procura pelos exames e por maiores informações sobre eles, maior motivação na equipe e satisfação dos usuários, que solicitaram outras oficinas com outros temas. Atribui-se avaliação positiva a este projeto de intervenção, dada a relevância do tema; a metodologia de ensino-aprendizagem adotada interferiu significativamente nas barreiras comuns para a realização dos exames preventivos desses três tipos de câncer, tais como, medo, desconforto, preconceito e outros frutos da desinformação, não apenas acerca do exame, mas também da doença.

Motivação para o auto-cuidado na atenção primária em saúde

Percebemos no dia a dia do trabalho na Estratégia da Saúde da Família que o "cuidado" tem grande repercussão na saúde das pessoas. Cuidar ou ser cuidado dependem de práticas em benefício do indivíduo, para a manutenção da vida, a saúde e o bem estar. Mas as pessoas mesmo sabendo o que é necessário fazerem para se cuidarem, não realizam ações nesse sentido. Então partimos para a tentativa de compreensão da visão atual do tema e refletir acerca dos diferentes motivos e fatores que motivam as pessoas a se auto cuidarem. Justificou este estudo o compromisso da autora com o desenvolvimento da atenção primária em saúde relacionada com a qualidade de vida e com o empoderamento individual e de grupos sociais. Para tanto rastreou-se os últimos artigos publicados pertinentes ao tema, sem entretanto nenhum critério de seleção para os mesmos. Como resultado observou-se que as estratégias da educação para a saúde, a organização do processo de trabalho por problemas e o respeito à individualidade e aos direitos das pessoas são fatores que podem estimular o auto cuidado permanente.

Diagnóstico da Educação Ambiental no ensino de Geografia: Piracicaba, Capivari and Jundiaí hidrographic basins

The goals of this study are to identify the potencialities avaiable in elementary public schools for the development of an educational process wich includes environmental issues helpping to find its integration with university in order to contribuite raises teaching levels for a better comprehension of regional environmental problems. Research data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with geography teachers analyising theirs activities and perspectives on the environmental crisis and environmental education. The study also offers sugestions for the devellopment of interdisciplinaires programs trying to contibute for the construction of citizenship showing the importance of better comprehension from environmental problems which includes physical, economics, social, political and cultural aspects.

Educação a distância e efeitos em cadeia

This article is divided into two parts. The first presents two abstract arguments that constitute the starting point for the development of the second part, which is directed towards discussing some aspects of the distance learning policies, i.e., the role of public authorities in encouraging and shaping this type of education. First of all, it is intended to establish some assumptions to understand the emergence of this phenomenon and some of its conditioning factors and consequences; then to suggest some analytical tools to allow us to reflect on public policy in this area.

A motivação de alunos no contexto da progressão continuada

This study investigated the intrinsic and extrinsic motivacional orientations of students in the context of the educational continuous progression. The sample was composed of 160 subjects of second, fourth, sixth and eighth grades of the elementary school. Data was collected by means of the presentation of histories involving the intrinsic, extrinsic motivation and the educational continuous progression system. Subjects were interviewed individually. Their answers were transcribed verbatim and submitted to content analysis. Results indicated that a expressive percentage of students did not know the educational system of continuous progression. Students revealed a predominantly intrinsic motivation orientation with advances in age and in school grade level, even though knowing that they will not repeat any school grade. This study pointed out the importance of deepening our knowledge concerning the impact of the educational continuous progression in students' motivation to learn.

Pesquisa qualitativa em Educação Física: possibilidades de construção de conhecimento a partir do referencial cultural

This work indicates presuppositions for the qualitative research in Physical Education, starting with a literature review based on the cultural frame of reference. Firstly, we introduce the debate concerning the natural and the human sciences and implications for the Physical Education; we then use a cultural axis as a ground basis for the research in the area, proposing the 'dense description' as a possibility for knowledge building; finally, we bring up examples of studies conducted with such an approach. This theoretical methodological approach allows the study of the human being as a cultural being, thus opposed to the naturalised view of a human - predominant in Physical Education.

Sistema Nacional de Educação articulado ao Plano Nacional de Educação

This text which discusses the central theme of the National Conference on Education (CONAE), held in Brasília from 28th March to 1st April 2010, deals with the concept of a National System of Education in articulation with the National Plan of Education. To that end, after pointing to the basic uses of the concept of system, it discusses the question of the National System of Education exploring the federative question in order to reveal the complete compatibility of the organization of the National System of Education with the federative regime. Thereafter, it deals with the historical meaning of the National Plan of Education demonstrating that the plan is a demand of the system, since planned action is implicit in systematized education. Thus the National Plan of Education is fulfilling those goals and objectives for which it is responsible.

História, filosofia e sociologia da educação matemática na formação do professor: um programa de pesquisa

We present and discuss in this article some features of a research program whose central object of investigation is the way in which the recent fields of history, philosophy, and sociology of mathematical education could take part in a critical and qualified manner in the initial and continuing training of teachers in this area. For that, we endorse the viewpoint that the courses for mathematics teacher education should be based on a conception of specificity through which a new pedagogical project could be established. In such project those new fields of investigation would participate, in an organic and clarifying way, in the constitution of multidimensional problematizations of school practices, in which mathematics would be involved, and that would be guided by academic investigations about the issues that currently challenge teachers in the critical work of incorporation, resignification, production, and transmission of mathematical culture in the context of the school institution.
