In the last years, the embryo in vitro production for every domestic species and mainly for bovine has attained a notorius status. This reproductive biotechnical procedure associate with ultrasound-guided ovum pick up (OPU) has been more and more incorporated and spread in our cattle herds, ranking up Brazil already at the top of the list in number of in vitro embryo produced. Some significant advantages provided, such as the possibility of using the premature or pregnant animals oocytes, without necessarily requiring the use of hormonal treatment, to make it possible to generate pregnancy at a shorter period of time, the rationalization in the use of semen and optimization in the use of sexed semen were determinant factors for OPU/IVP to reach this outstanding position. Nevertheless, right now the possibility of IVP embryo cryopreservation, just now is the biggest impediment for maximizing the use of this biotechnology, due to both lack of efficient methods and low laboratory produced embryo cryotolerance. Nowadays, the most used methods of IVP embryo cryopreservation are: slow freezing and vitrification. Traditionally, slow freezing is still the most used methods for in vivo and in vitro produced embryo cryopreservation. Since the beginning human needs to produce elements artistics, in such way that can set their history and pass a language, be it as art, culture and / or as an identity. Within this context, the jewelry was being developed, its characteristics and aesthetics, in a period, being artistic, historic, marking this form a civilization, a document, with its innovations and concepts. Nowadays, with technology, trade and the need to search for creations and innovations in the jewelry section, was prepared and developed those that we call Art jewelry. This study brings a trajectory through the history of jewelry art and jewelry; specifying in the contemporary period the various types of jewelry such as author and industry, its artists and jewelers; parts exhibited in museums and designed for competitions, thus creating a analysis of contemporary jewelry

The aim of this paper is to point the main research tendencies in teaching and learning English as a foreign language in the main postgraduate courses in this area, in Brazil, in the period 2005-2010. The adopted methodology for the data collection included the inventory of theses and dissertations, which are included in the sites of the universities with research lines in Applied Linguistics and were produced in the mentioned period. The most productive categories were the ones related to teacher formation, translation, language and technology and studies about teachers and students’ beliefs.

Na presente publicação apresenta-se análises de um conjunto de manuais escolares que circularam na Escola Normal brasileira e portuguesa entre meados do século XIX e meados do século XX a partir de diferentes olhares, reeditando em outra chave o processo original de circulação de ideias entre Brasil e Portugal no qual esses materiais se inserem. Orientados por outros estudos que tratam do mesmo tema, os autores realizaram recolha nos dois países a fim de comprovar a circulação do corpus empírico que, ao final, foi definido como fonte. Assim, chegou-se ao seguinte conjunto de manuais didáticos: Elementos de Pedagogia de Affreixo & Freire (1870); Curso Prático de Pedagogia Destinado aos Alunos-Mestres das Escolas Normaes Primarias e aos Instituidores em Exercício de Daligault (1874); Lições de Pedagogia Geral e de História da Educação de Pimentel Filho (1875); Lições de Pedologia e Pedagogia Experimental de Faria de Vasconcelos (1910); Lições de Metodologia, de Fonseca Lage (1920); A arte da leitura, de Mário Gonçalves Viana (1949) e Lições de Pedagogia, de Aquiles Archêro Junior (1955). Os pesquisadores utilizam diferentes lentes para tecer suas análises e, cada um segundo sua especialidade de pesquisa, aprofunda aspectos que, juntos, compõem um painel interpretativo sobre o processo de escolarização e seus espaços, a normatização do trabalho docente, os princípios que nortearam a seleção cultural para a escola primária, a constituição de modos e métodos de ensino para realizar os objetivos educacionais e a especificidade que assumem os materiais e o ensino da leitura e da escrita nessa instituição. Todas as análises reiteram a importância dos impressos na consolidação da escola primária portuguesa e brasileira, notadamente no que se refere às prescrições feitas nos manuais escolares que, em trânsito, configuram-se como palavras viajeiras.

Considering the experience taken from the institutional support given by the Humanization’s Brazilian Policy in three health’s regions in São Paulo State, Brazil, this text intends to expose some problems refering to the articulation process of other health’s regional networks mainly composed by cities with less than twenty thousands inhabitants. By problematizing the articulation of inlad health’s networks it is put on the agenda the process of descentraliztion and the interfederaditive relations emphasizing the political and institutional aspects that goes through and modulates these relations, mainly in the small cities. Thus, we are questioning the ways how the current health policies are implemented in these territories and the way how they are articulated, having as a goal the challenge of the process’ ascendance and transversality.

This research intend to investigate the main concepts on the pedagogical activities from the 8th Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul, through its history and in a field research made in 2011, by the occasion and in the same year of that edition. It tries to recognize the innovative points of its pedagogical curatorial project and its meaning for the educational art in museums - the expanded field of the art. The expository and educational experience in the Bienal do Mercosul, through its concepts, proposes a reflection about educational art in museums or big events

Este trabalho objetivou investigar a produção acadêmica sobre o esporte educacional no contexto brasileiro nas principais revistas cientificas da área da educação física, buscando analisar as principais contribuições sobre este campo de pesquisa para o contexto pedagógico da educação física escolar. Para isso foram analisadas as revistas cientificas indexadas na base de dados da CAPES entre os extratos A2 a B2 na área de Educação Física, buscando avaliar quantitativamente o número de trabalhos publicados nos últimos onze anos (2003 á 2014). Além disso, os trabalhos encontrados passaram por uma analise qualitativa, buscando estabelecer categorias temáticas que possam trazer à tona um quadro do delineamento do estado da arte desse campo de investigação no Brasil, na ultima década. Diante disso, o estudo procurou contribuir para um maior entendimento da atual perspectiva relacionada a produção cientifica sobre esporte educacional no Brasil, onde foram encontrados 15 artigos, o que nos permitiu delinear um quadro da educação física escolar atualmente, fazendo alguns apontamentos em relação a direções futuras neste campo de pesquisa. Ainda são necessários muitos estudos para dar subsídios para os professores, porém este é mais um passo pequeno em direção a um futuro com mais possibilidades e reconhecimentos na área

The aim of this paper is to characterize and discuss the School Physical Education as a profession and subarea of research in the broader academic fi eld of Physical Education and educational research. To do that, it initially defi nes the difference between research in School Physical Education from research about School Physical Education, and point out the themes and research hypotheses for this subarea. It also analyses 289 articles characterized as research in School Physical Education, published in 11 Brazilian periodicals, classifying them in the following categories: “level of schooling”, “bodily practice” and “theme”. The results indicate that the majority of studies are carried out in elementary school, in “games” and “sports”, and in descriptive and interpretative research in School Physical Education practices in several dimensions and interrelations. In conclusion, it points to the need to a focus in the research in teaching, the implementation of public curricula, and teacher education. Finally, it alerts to the need for Brazilian postgraduate programs in the academic fi eld of physical education to invest more in research in School Physical Education subarea.

Glauber Rocha’s arrival at Rio de Janeiro can be considered a milestone for the Brazilian Cinema Novo movement in the early 1960s. In 1959, Glauber starts his collaborations in the Suplemento Dominical do Jornal do Brasil. This paper examines Rocha’s major contributions in this newspaper for the purpose of pointing out the strategies and formulations of the young intellectual from Bahia to promote a debate on the forms of modern Brazilian cinema and its relationship to other art forms in the 1960s.

Brazilian folklore is rich in legends that inhabit in the imaginary of people and are believed to have originated among Brazilian indigenous peoples and the Africans who were enslaved by Portuguese settlers. However, when those stories are compared with the legends of the Iberian Peninsula , one can notice that a lot of elements in the Brazilian legends clearly reflect, for example, aspects of the popular narratives from Galicia and Portugal, such as “The moors” and “Yara’s legend”; “O trasno” and “Saci pererê”. The objective of this paper is to analyze those cultural traces by means of Comparative Literary and Intertextuality analysis, by observing how the context , the ruling ideology, and both social and cultural aspects retake the stories that are known to a certain culture and readapt them according to the traditions of another, thus producing new discourse-texts with local characteristics.
