Relatório de Estágio Profissional. Gestão de Alimentos e Bebidas (F&B)

Este relatório pretende abordar as rotinas organizacionais do sistema hoteleiro, mais precisamente no Resort Hotel Foya Branca, buscando analisar os processos inerentes ao gerenciamento do Departamento de Alimentos e Bebidas, sendo um dos mais rentáveis e importante departamento da hotelaria. É necessário realçar a sua importância, uma vez que é um dos departamentos mais completo, tanto a sua estrutura física, quanto organizacional e também por possuir um contacto directo com o cliente/hóspede, sendo assim responsável pela permanência e retorno dos clientes e consequentemente uma rentabilidade estável do empreendimento hoteleiro. Para realizar este trabalho, foi feita uma análise bibliográfica e documental, a internet também foi um dos instrumentos de busca das informações, assim como, informações obtidas no Resort Hotel Foya Branca, onde foi cumprido 480 horas de estágio. Durante este período, foi ganho uma vasta gama de experiencia, de forma a estar capacitado a lidar e gerir este departamento, onde foi abrangido áreas como economato, cozinha, bar, restaurante, bem como foi possível conhecer as práticas de planeamento e gestão de eventos, gestão e administração dos recursos humanos, controlo de vendas e as políticas comerciais/marketing, fazendo uso dos softwares do hotel, dos arquivos documentais, pasta de procedimentos de serviços, relatórios e documentos informativos inerentes ao funcionamento do departamento.

Estudios oceanográficos durante el crucero pelágico 0302-04

El crucero de evaluación hidroacústica de recursos pelágicos 0302-04 se realizó a bordo de dos barcos: el BIC Olaya (26 febrero al 6 abril, Salaverry – Ilo) y el BIC SNP2, del 4 al 29 de marzo (Puerto Pizarro – Salaverry), para estudiar la relación entre los recursos pelágicos y las condiciones ambientales. En términos generales las condiciones térmicas fueron: (a) temperaturas frías de Paita a Huacho; (b) temperaturas normales de Puerto Pizarro a Paita y de Huacho a Mollendo; (c) temperaturas cálidas al sur de Mollendo. Este comportamiento térmico estuvo asociado a la presencia de aguas ecuatoriales superficiales (AES) al norte de Punta Gobernador (5°30’S), aguas costeras frías (ACF) con una amplia distribución (80 mn al norte de Atico, 16°S), aguas subtropicales superficiales (ASS) ubicadas por fuera de las 60 mn con fuertes proyecciones hacia la costa, frente a Chimbote (25 mn, 9°S), Pisco (10 mn, 14°S) y Morro Sama (20 mn, 18°S); (d) observando la topografía de la isoterma de 15 °C, se deduce que la zona de convergencia entre los flujos del norte y sur se localizó entre Pimentel (7°S) y Salaverry (8°30’S)

Small dense lipoproteins, apolipoprotein B, and risk of coronary events in HIV-infected patients on antiretroviral therapy: the Swiss HIV Cohort Study.

OBJECTIVES: HIV infection and exposure to certain antiretroviral drugs is associated with dyslipidemia and increased risk for coronary events. Whether this risk is mediated by highly atherogenic lipoproteins is unclear. We investigated the association of highly atherogenic small dense low-density lipoproteins (LDLs) and apolipoprotein B and coronary events in HIV-infected individuals receiving antiretroviral therapy. METHODS: We conducted a case-control study nested into the Swiss HIV Cohort Study to investigate the association of small dense LDL and apolipoprotein B and coronary events in 98 antiretroviral drug-treated patients with a first coronary event (19 fatal and 79 nonfatal coronary events with 53 definite and 15 possible myocardial infarctions, 11 angioplasties or bypasses) and 393 treated controls matched for age, gender, and smoking status. Lipids were measured by ultracentrifugation. RESULTS: In models including cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, blood pressure, central obesity, diabetes, and family history, there was an independent association between small dense LDL and coronary events [odds ratio (OR) for 1 mg/dL increase: 1.06, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.00 to 1.11] and apolipoprotein B (OR for 10 mg/dL increase: 1.16, 95% CI: 1.02 to 1.32). When adding HIV and antiretroviral therapy-related variables, ORs were 1.04 (95% CI: 0.99 to 1.10) for small dense LDL and 1.13 (95% CI: 0.99 to 1.30) for apolipoprotein B. In both models, blood pressure and HIV viral load was independently associated with the odds for coronary events. CONCLUSIONS: HIV-infected patients receiving antiretroviral therapy with elevate small dense LDL and apolipoprotein B are at increased risk for coronary events as are patients without sustained HIV suppression.
