Se expone una unidad didáctica dedicada a la educación artística y musical. Se estructura en una presentación de objetivos, contenidos, metodología y material destinado al profesorado donde se exponen toda una serie de bailes de todo el mundo. A continuación se adjuntan una serie de actividades dirigidas a los alumnos, relacionadas con la danza, la música y su localización geográfica.

Deportes alternativos I : froorball, indiaca, fun-ball.

Se presentan tres deportes alternativos para fomentar valores como el trabajo en equipo o la convivencia. Se expone el origen, las reglas y las técnicas básicas de cada uno de ellos.

La etapa uno se centra en las habilidades de lenguaje oral y prelectura que los niños necesitan para ser lectores competentes. Esta etapa es esencial para:la introducción de los personajes principales. Alentar a los niños a conversar acerca de ellos mismos y sus experiencias en relación con las historias. El desarrollo de destrezas de escuchar. Se presentan las primeras palabras clave. El desarrollo de una actitud positiva hacia la lectura. La enseñanza de habilidades de manipulación del libro. Estas historias de Bif, Chip y Kipper sirven de base para hablar de temas como las relaciones entre hermanos, apodos, cumpleaños, la hora del baño, aprender algo nuevo, y así sucesivamente. Al hablar de sus propias experiencias, los niños sienten una participación personal en los acontecimientos de las historias. A Biff y a Chip les gusta jugar a la pelota. Jugar a la pelota en un pequeño jardín a veces puede dar lugar a problemas. Biff y Chip tienen todo tipo de dificultades cuando juegan en su jardín, hasta que papá tiene una idea muy buena.

L'Avancement du temps didactique lors des "moments à dominance verbale" en séance de basket-ball. Etude comparative chez un enseignant généraliste et un enseignant spécialiste

L’éducation physique (EP) est considérée comme une discipline fortement caractérisée par le «faire». Ce sont des mouvements, des gestes, des techniques ou des tactiques en situation et leurs résultats qui sont évalués. C’est aussi à travers le «faire moteur» que majoritairement est pensé le processus d’apprentissage des élèves. Toutefois, si les actions motrices se trouvent au centre des préoccupations disciplinaires, les leçons d’éducation physique comportent toujours une part, parfois assez importante, des «moments à dominance verbale» (MàDV). Ces derniers renvoient aux phases de la séance durant lesquelles l’enseignant et/ou les élèves communiquent verbalement (des gestes ou des démonstrations peuvent accompagner la parole). Le temps dédié aux consignes initiales, le temps des régulations après une situation de jeu ou le temps des feed-back sont des exemples typiques

How soccer players head the ball: a test of optic acceleration cancellation theory with virtual reality

We measured the movements of soccer players heading a football in a fully immersive virtual reality environment. In mid-flight the ball’s trajectory was altered from its normal quasi-parabolic path to a linear one, producing a jump in the rate of change of the angle of elevation of gaze (α) from player to ball. One reaction time later the players adjusted their speed so that the rate of change of α increased when it had been reduced and reduced it when it had been increased. Since the result of the player’s movement was to regain a value of the rate of change close to that before the disturbance, the data suggest that the players have an expectation of, and memory for, the pattern that the rate of change of α will follow during the flight. The results support the general claim that players intercepting balls use servo control strategies and are consistent with the particular claim of Optic Acceleration Cancellation theory that the servo strategy is to allow α to increase at a steadily decreasing rate.

Ball milling as an effective route for the preparation of doped bornite: synthesis, stability and thermoelectric properties

Bornite, Cu5FeS4, is a naturally-occuring mineral with an ultralow thermal conductivity and potential for thermoelectric power generation. We describe here a new, easy and scalable route to synthesise bornite, together with the thermoelectric behaviour of manganese-substituted derivatives, Cu5Fe1-xMnxS4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.10). The electrical and thermal transport properties of Cu5Fe1-xMnxS4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.10), which are p-type semiconductors, were measured from room temperature to 573 K. The stability of bornite was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis under inert and oxidising atmospheres. Repeated measurements of the electrical transport properties confirm that bornite is stable up to 580 K under an inert atmosphere, while heating to 890 K results in rapid degradation. Ball milling leads to a substantial improvement in the thermoelectric figure of merit of unsusbtituted bornite (ZT = 0.55 at 543 K), when compared to bornite prepared by conventional high-temperature synthesis (ZT < 0.3 at 543 K). Manganese-substituted samples have a ZT comparable to that of unsubstituted bornite.

Wear of Ball Attachments After 1 to 8 Years of Clinical Use: A Qualitative Analysis

The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observations of ball attachments that had been worn by patients during three periods of clinical use. One hundred forty-four specimens of ball anchor attachments (gold alloy matrix and titanium patrix) were studied by SEM after periods of approximately 1, 3.5, and 8 years of clinical use. Twenty new attachment components were examined as controls. SEM images revealed signs of mechanical wear for the ball attachments studied. The surfaces of the titanium patrix were associated primarily with roughening after short-term use, whereas surfaces of the gold alloy matrix showed wear, roughening, and loss of microscopic material in the form of flakes. Severe mechanical wear on both surfaces was noted after longer periods of use. The mechanical changes were not correlated with patient-mediated observations regarding the time-dependent retentive efficacy of the attachments. One year of clinical wear appeared to have limited effect on the ball attachment tested. Conversely, longer periods of use led to marked modifications in shape of the matrix and patrix components. Preparation of Ni-Ti-Mo and Ni-Ti-Mo-Zr Alloys by High-Energy Ball Milling and Subsequent Hot Pressing

This work discusses on the preparation of Ni-45Ti-5Mo, Ni-40Ti-10Mo and Ni-46Ti-2Mo-2Zr (at-%) alloys by high-energy ball milling and hot pressing, which are potentially attractive for dental and medical applications. The milling process was performed in stainless steel balls (19mm diameter) and vials (225 mL) using a rotary speed of 300rpm and a ball-to-powder weight ratio of 10:1. Hot pressing under vacuum was performed in a BN-coated graphite crucible at 900 degrees C for 1 h using a load of 20 MPa. The milled and hot-pressed materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction, electron scanning microscopy, and electron dispersive spectrometry. Peaks of B2-NiTi and Ni4Ti3 were identified in XRD patterns of Ni-45Ti-5Mo, Ni-40Ti-10Mo and Ni-46Ti-2Mo-2Zr powders milled for 1h. The NiTi compound dissolved small Mo amounts lower than 4 at%, which were measured by EDS analysis. Moreover, it was identified the existence of an unknown Mo-rich phase in microstructures of the hot-pressed Ni-Ti-Mo alloys.
