Dark brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to medium in size and sub-angular to angular. Contains lineations and grain stacking throughout the sample. Rotation and comet structures can also be seen. Rotation structures can be seen around mainly the sub-angular clasts. Patches of clay can also be seen throughout the sample.

HG 276.80-276.95 Thin Section

Coarse grained sample, with grains ranging from small to large in size. Shapes range from angular to rounded. This sample is abundant in lineations, and rotation structures can also be seen around larger aggregates. Many large grains are fractured and minor grain stacking can also be seen.

HG 295.70-295.80 Thin Section

This sample contains two different domains; a coarse grained domain with well dispersed clasts, and a fine grained domain that potentially contains organics. The coarser grained domain contains comet structures, lineations and minor rotation without a central grain.

Dark brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to large. Clasts are sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. Larger tend to be more sub-rounded in this sample. Lineations and comet structures are present. Minor amounts of rotation structures can also be seen.

Dark greyish-brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to large in size. Clasts are sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. Fine grained domains can be seen scattered throughout the sample. The sample also contains comet structures, lineations, and minor amounts of rotation structures within the coarser domain.

Multiple domains are present. Clasts range from small to large in size and sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. The fine grained domain is dark brown with some lineations and organic material. The coarse grained domain is grey in colour and contains mainly lineations and rotation structures. Some comet structures can also be seen.

Dark grey sediment with clasts that range from small to medium. The clasts are mainly sub-rounded. Lineations are abundant with minor amounts of rotation structures and comet structures. Grain crushing can also be seen throughout the sample.

Light brown sediment with mainly small clasts. The clasts are sub-rounded in shape. Lineations are abundant. Grain crushing and stacking are also present.

Minor amounts of grain crushing/stacking can also be seen. A few rotation structures are also present throughout the sample.

Dark brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to large in size. Clast shape ranges from angular to sub-rounded. Lineations are common throughout the sample. A few comet structures and rotation structures are also visible throughout the sample.

Light brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to large. Many clasts appeared to be weathered. Clast shape ranges from angular to sub-angular. This sample contained a lot of dark organic material scattered throughout it. Minor amounts of rotation structures and lineations can also be seen.

Brown sediment with multiple domains. Grains range from small to large in size, and angular to sub-rounded in shape. Large amounts of grain crushing can be seen in the coarser domains. The sample is mainly dominated with grain crushing. The finer grained domains contain some clay rich material. Some lineations and rotation structures can also be seen throughout the different domains.
