Sexual maturity, fecundity and egg size of wild and cultured samples of Bagrus bayad macropterus

Twenty four matured samples of Bagrus bayad macropterus from the wild (Shiroro Lake, Nigeria) and under captivity, size ranging from 412.69-3300.00 g total body weight, were analysed for sexual maturity,fecundity and egg size. The average fecundity obtained were 53352.59 and 21028.32 eggs for the wild and cultured fish respectively.Positive relationship was observed between fecundity, body size and gonad weight. Fecundity increased as body size increased. A more positive and linear relationship was observed between fecundity and gonad weight than fecundity and total body weight. Egg diameter,length and weight were determined from the egg samples. The mean size range of eggs for cultured fish was 0.74-1.05 mm of diameter; 1.01-1.20 mm of length and 0.25-0.40 mg of weight. Wild samples had mean size range of 0.68-l.09 mm of diameter, 0.85-1.38 mm of length and egg mean weight range was 0.15- 0.40 mg. Sexual maturity is dependent on size (1 kg and above). Broadband high-gain optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification near 780 nm with LBO-I near-degenerate near-collinear phase match

Near-degenerative near-collinear phase-match geometry for broadband optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification (OPCPA) at approximate to 780 nm is calculated in comparison with nondegenerate noncollinear phase-match geometry. In an experiment on LBO-I near-degenerate near-collinear OPCPA, high gain with broad gain bandwidth (approximate to 71 nm, FWHM) at approximate to 780 nm is achieved by using an approximate to 390-nm pumping pulse. The stretched broadband chirped signal pulse near 780 nm is amplified to approximate to 412 mu J with a pumping energy of approximate to 15 mJ, and the total gain is > 3.7 X 10(6), which agrees well with the calculation. For a broadband (covering approximate to 100 nm) chirped signal pulse, the theoretical gain bandwidth has been attained experimentally for the first time. 双色激光场中激光强度和脉宽对线性多原子分子离子电离的影响

两根掺镱大芯双包层光纤激光器获得113W同相输出功率

利用一个自成像共焦腔和一个空间滤波器实现了两掺Yb大芯光纤激光器的位相锁定。观测到稳定的具有高对比度的干涉条纹。相干条纹的对比度为59%，而非相干时对比度为6%。中心条纹的宽度与理论计算结果吻合得很好。对同相模式而言，位相锁定激光器阵列输出达到113W，对应的斜率效率为38.5%。

Pabellón polideportivo en el municipio de Gorliz

El presente proyecto se desarrolla como Trabajo de Fin de Grado para la obtención del título de Grado en Ingeniería Mecánica, siendo su objeto principal el diseño, cálculo estructural y definición a nivel constructivo de un nuevo pabellón polideportivo en el municipio de Gorliz. La construcción de dicho pabellón busca solventar la carencia existente de instalaciones deportivas en Gorliz, dotando al municipio de un polideportivo que satisfaga, en la medida de lo posible y de acuerdo a los criterios económicos existentes, la demanda de la población en el ámbito deportivo. Si bien, el Censo Nacional de Instalaciones Deportivas del Consejo Superior de Deportes arroja una importante cifra total de 79.412 instalaciones, la distribución de estas no es uniforme, existiendo municipios en los que la carencia en esta material queda claramente reflejada, como lo es el caso de Gorliz. Son varios los estudios realizados, promovidos por el ayuntamiento, a fin de valorar la consideración de la población en relación a esta materia y en ellos queda patente la necesidad existente de una instalación deportiva que complete las ya existentes. De entre todo ellos, cabe destacar la importante cifra obtenida en el estudio sobre hábitos deportivos realizado por la fundación Argibide a finales del 2012, que se desarrolla de forma más extensa a lo largo del proyecto, ya que en éste, el 76% de la población encuestada justifica la no realización de actividades deportivas en el municipio por la falta de posibilidades.

UV-blue upconverted emission from Nd3+-doped InF3-based heavy-metal fluoride glasses for blue upconversion fibre laser

We report spectral properties and thermal stability of Nd3+-doped InF3-based heavy-metal fluoride glasses. Fluoroindate glasses in the chemical compositions (in mol%) of (38-x)InF3-16BaF(2)-20ZnF(2)-20SrF(2)-3GdF(3)-1GaF(3-)2NaF-xNdF(3) (x = 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, 3) have been prepared under a controlled atmosphere in a dry box. Strong UVblue upconversion emission from a green excitation wavelength has been observed and the involved mechanisms have been explained. Near-infrared emission occurs simultaneously upon excitation of the UV-blue upconversion emissions with a cw Ar(+)laser. The upconversion spectra have revealed four dominant emissions at 354, 380, 412 and 449 nm, which belong to the transitions of D-4(3/2) -> I-4(9/2), D-4(3/2) -> I-4(11/2) and P-2(3/2) -> I-4(9/2), D-4(3/2) -> I-4(13/2) and P-2(3/2) -> I-4(11/2), D-4(3/2) -> I-4(15/2) and P-2(3/2) -> I-4(13/2), respectively.
