O combate que Thomas Mann travou contra o nazismo a partir de 1922 é exemplar, pois é o de um escritor apaixonado pela liberdade e não o de um militante. Ele privilegia a ficção e o mito como meios de luta contra o fascínio exercido pelo nazismo e afirma a permanência de uma Alemanha cultural, cosmopolita, fonte de uma universalidade estranha a todos os particularismos étnicos. Goethe, com quem ele se identifica e no qual se projeta, é a figura de proa dessa Alemanha.

Esta dissertação objetivou realizar uma analítica do poder sobre algumas práticas de atendimento efetivadas no Centro Socioducativo Feminino do Estado do Pará – CESEF. Foram utilizadas, como principais ferramentas de análise dessas práticas, as problematizações realizadas por Michel Foucault, sobre as relações de saber-poder forjadas sobre os Estados Modernos, e de vários autores internacionais e nacionais, os quais dialogam com as pesquisas desenvolvidas por esse pensador, em uma perspectiva da Nova História. Por meio da análise documental e de observações de campo, buscamos disparar interrogações relacionadas aos acontecimentos singulares de como as tecnologias do poder disciplinar e da biopolítica atravessam as práticas discursivas e não discursivas, operacionalizadas durante o cumprimento de medidas socioeducativas de privação de liberdade de jovens mulheres consideradas autoras de ato infracional, na unidade socioeducativa pesquisada, e que efeitos políticos são acionados nesses acontecimentos, sempre em um nível de análise de saber e poder. Foi possível identificar, descrever e analisar como as cartografias do poder, na modernidade, descritos por Foucault, possuem efeitos atuais em práticas de atendimento e exame, nas atividades consideradas pedagógicas, nas atividades denominadas como oficinas, nos arranjos espaciais, etc., produzindo punições e tentativas de regulamentação e a normalização de corpos.

The aim of this paper is to show how the contract joins with moral and politics in Rousseau's Social contract. The contract denatures and changes human nature when human being becomes social. With this change, moral and politics arouse. Moral is the condition of liberty and politics becomes on the field of consent and rhetoric.

The Folha Universal, newspaper produced by the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (Iurd, abbreviation in Portuguese for Universal Church of the Kingdom of God), reaches an average weekly circulation from 2.5 to 3.5 million copies. Studies indicate that the Folha Universal is not merely an institutional newspaper. It is systematically dedicated to be a source of political information to their readers, in order to publicize candidates and politicians who defend the Iurd’s proposals for the Brazilian public life. This paper describes results of an empirical study on the frames built by the Folha Universal about the social demands, economic and political governance considered as priorities to the public management by the Iurd around five themes of analysis: public safety; children and adolescents care; public health; environment; politics and economy. The results indicate that, as characteristics of the Folha Universal in the four months prior to the 2010 Brazilian elections, aspects that differ from those indicated by previous studies on the newspaper. Previously detected in the pages of Folha Universal as a mean for finding solutions to social problems, the theology of prosperity was in our sample replaced by the formulation of public policies.

Since the beginning of the first prisions, they were proposed to solely for custody of offenders while waiting for capital punishment. With the evolution of the society, also evolves to the form of the punishment of convicts, going to be adopted custodial sentences instead of tortured bodies, then came up a greater concern with the most suitable sites for this new purpose. This study aim to reflect and analyze the relationship between education and rehabilitation in the Brazilian criminal justice system, aiming to give the efficiency of these programs in the country and the emergence of the first forms of punishment and deprivation of liberty, presupposing the role that education presents in the social reintegration process, in a situation of deprivation of liberty and the existing public policies. Characterize and show the attempts made by the state of São Paulo in accomplishing new models of prisons, which since 2000 are called resocialization centers representing this new structure and proposed social work in relation to so-called traditional prisons

Object of the search is the advertising phenomenon of the "product placement", with reference to that it has been investigated legality’s limits, as well as the relationship with the constitutionally protected liberty of expression. Particularly, it has been analyzed, in first place, the problem of the relationship between the freedom of expression and the liberty of economic initiative, with particular reference to the different circles of guardianship to these prepared: or, larger, the one provided for the first from the 21th article of Costitution, more circumscribed, instead, the one established in the 41th article of Costitution, with reference to the second. This analysis has been made with the purpose to investigate the coordination among such liberties in those forms of communications that, for the proper peculiarities that characterize them, can be qualified, according to the concrete circumstances in which they are spread, so much forms of liberty of expression, how much exercise of an activity of enterprise. Under this last profile, it has been taken attention on the advertising activity and, specially, on the non transparent publicities, or not immediately perceivable as such from their receivers, and, therefore, in contrast with the advertising trasparence’s principle: or, the so-called cases of hidden publicity, what the editorial publicity, both "in narrow sense" both "in general sense", as well as the phenomenon of the product placement (or positioning of product), by now diffused in the commercial routine. Therefore, it has been proceeded to a complete and exhaustive examination of innovations introduced by the recent legislative discipline in subject of “planned placement of marks and products” in the cinema works, appraising, in the specific one, the effects, juridical and no juridical, consequential from the introduction of a first form of regulation of the phenomenon of the product placement and, particularly, from the express provision about the legality of the use to such advertising, if it has realized according to specific requirements or condition. In relationship to such profile, it has been also investigate limits (sub kind of normative gaps) from which the recently introduced discipline in subject would seem characterized. Finally, a further circle of investigation has concerned the possible organization of the phenomenon under a negotiate aspect, as particular contract of advertising, in which the object consists in an promotional activity. Concerning this, the experience of foreign countries (above all the Anglo-Saxon one) has been very important, because of the absence, in our arrangement, of a general normative discipline about advertising contracts. Consequently, I’ve investigated principal characteristics of similar contracts, in first place the atypicalness, because of the lack, in Italy, of a legislative discipline of this contract. Such investigation has also been developed through a comparation between the positioning of product and the other advertising contracts, among which, particularly, the sponsorship, as well as the contracts for the advertising exploitation of the name and other people's image, and, specially, the contract of testimonial and the contract of endorsement.
