The academies are important spaces for dissemination of physical activity and one of the own market niches of Physical Education professionals. The preparation of these professionals takes place in universities facing the transformation of the body through specific physical activities related to the different objectives pursued by the students of academies with what they can offer. Expected to identify the motivations that lead people to academies and whether such motivations are met by the academies. The study was conducted in two academies in the city of Rio Claro, SP, that meet different audiences by purchasing power. This study, qualitative, aimed to try to understand relations and premises involving bodily practices and Christianity. The study was conducted by means of literature, focusing the themes of religion and the body along with issues involving Christian ethics, through its principles and values, which must be practiced, not only within the church, but even within the society, in sports, in schools. Based on the literature review, it can be seen that the body practices have a direct relationship with the Christian religion, in the aspects involving the ethics of their practices, experiences, thoughts, attitudes, principles and values, in addition to cultural training and body of students from different schools, in which the physical education professional is directly involved with the bodily practices. As conclusions, it was noted the probability of a harmonious and fundamental relationship between religion and bodily practices, along with a productive association between Christianity and society, helping the individual in its ethical and social formation. We suggest new approaches to the formation of the professional of Physical Education, in order take into consideration these aspects involving religiosity

You can set the resistance training such as making a move against a resistance by performing a muscle contraction and generating a muscular adaptation. This form of training, was initially used only in training athletes aiming to strengthen and improve fitness. Some coaches did not give proper focus, as the increase in muscle mass would cause loss of flexibility and agility. But over time a huge evolution occurred within this area and the practitioners of resistance training are no longer just athletes, and reached the whole community, from young to elderly, being a physical activity that generates a large caloric expenditure and has several health benefits, improve the cardiovascular system and decreasing the amount of body fat in the body. Cortisol is a hormone secreted from a stressful stimulus to the body, secretion undergoes control of the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, which releases the hormone into the bloodstream andrenocorticotrópico, going to the adrenal cortex responsible for their release. This has catabolic function, acting in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids, as well as having an important effect antiflamatório. Testosterone is a steroid hormone cholesterol from being produced by the testicles in men, as in women is produced to a lesser extent in ovary and adrenal glands, has functions androgenic and anabolic. Androgen function is responsible for the development of male sexual characteristics, while on anabolic function operates in the growth of muscles and bones, influencing the development of the human body organs. Within the metabolic changes that occur in the resistance training testosterone plays an important role in protein synthesis, influencing the production of strength and / or power during exercise. We studied in this work some aspects of the physics of sound and music as a tool for physics teaching. The theory of sound since it is generated by some stimulus to its uptake by the human body, in areas such as: frequency, intensity, tone and propagation. The literature of the subject research was combined with the study of free software that captures waves on a computer, using a microphone, and allows to analyze the waves and frequencies involved in the sound, being able to distinguish tones, frequencies and intensities. We have analyzed some instruments (guitar, harmonica and pitch), including voice, from the quantitative and qualitative point of view. Finally we analyze textbooks in their acoustic topics and try to understand how important these materials give to this topic in basic education. We suggest a teaching sequence that could be applied in a high school classroom

A Biologia e a arte compõem dois campos distintos, porém com pontos de contato: o corpo humano, a organicidade, a natureza, a criatividade presente tanto no campo artístico quanto no campo científico. Onde arte e Biologia se encontram e se desencontram? As articulações entre uma prática científica e a arte podem contribuir para melhor compreensão e maior produção dos sujeitos aí envolvidos? Esse trabalho tem como objetivo estudar possíveis relações entre a arte e a Biologia, em um esforço por explorar e entender os pontos de contato e de afastamento entre esses dois campos situados no plano de nossa formação realizada no curso de graduação. A partir do contato com objetos artísticos bem como o contato com alguns modos de expressão de sensibilidade por parte de alguns cientistas em suas práticas de ciência, exploramos as relações entre os dois campos mencionados. Fazemos o acompanhamento de percursos de sentidos pelos territórios da ciência e da arte, fazendo uma espécie de cartografia, de tal modo que desenhamos as paisagens emergentes no movimento dos sentidos

With advances in health care, has been na increase of demand for material that could replace the functions of the human body parts, thus evolved biomedic prosthesis which today are responsible for the constant improvement of the quality of life. The Titanium alloys are widely used as implants due to its properties, like high mechanical resistance, biocompatibility and corrosion resistance, and the addition alloying elements like Zirconium, may improve some of those properties. Such properties are related to the microstructure and consequently to the type of processing performed. The purpose of this dissertation was to characterize the experimental alloy Ti15Zr after route of processsing and heat treatment in order to extend the knowledge about this alloy. The latter has been abtained by fusion of pure metals in a arc melting furnace with an inert argon atmosphere. The material has been homogenized in a tube furnace at 950ºC for 24h and cold worked by swaging, after that, bars with 10 mm of diameter were obtained by the process of rotary forging. The samples were solubilized at 900º C for 2 hours and quenched in water. After that, 4 samples were submitted to the aging, at 400º C, 450º C, 500º C and 550º C. The microstructure and phase analysis was done by optical microscopy and X-rays diffraction (XRD), the mechanical characterization was carried out by microhardness test and finally, evaluation of corrosion resistance of the alloy by electrochemical tests. The XRD and the optical microscopy made it possible to analyze that the heat treatment influenced the phase shifting from α to α', and probably affected the alloy hardness, at the first aged sample at 500º Chas been a sudden increase in the value of hardness, probably by appearance of omega phase, unwanted phase to the medical application duo to great fragility, and finally ... The objective of this ethnographic study was to understand how women experience their body's physiological processes during pregnancy and their effects on sexuality. The study involved seven women living in a poor neighborhood in Sao Paulo. Data collection was performed through participant observation and interviews using guiding questions. The data were presented in the narrative form and then organized into the following categories: realizing the changes in the body; living with the changes in the body; and feelings and sensations experienced in sexual life during pregnancy and imagining the body after pregnancy. The women referred to the changes in their bodies as discomforts, and expressed their concern that these changes would be permanent. They expressed they hoped that, after childbirth, their body would go back to what it was like before pregnancy and that they would recover their sexual desire. Recognition of these concerns is an essential tool to guarantee appropriate professional practices.
