A importância dos contos de fadas originais no desenvolvimento infantil: um incentivo ao raciocínio lógico

Fairy tales are popular stories that has been narrated for centuries, whether through oral tradition or printed manuscripts, over generations. It is known that fairy tales can, through symbolism, to penetrate the human unconscious, rescuing emotions, feelings and influencing their actions and ways of thinking, and are means of transmitting moral values propagated by particular historical and social contexts for variations that appear in the same story, because it can be modified by the intention of the person who transmits me story and the interpretation of those who read it, at a particular time and situation. Although, these changes, compared to the classic fairy tales of Perrault, the Grimm Brothers and Andersen, are marked clearly different, which shows the habits and customs of the time in which they are conveyed, whether in written or oral form. The present work aimed to study the differences between current and classic tales, as well as their influences on implications for the child's mind, from a work by the teacher, which consider the role of context in the situation, the characters and the plot. Thus it is intended that students be induced to question, to understand the values dealtturn in the story and to make inferences, and that logical reasoning be stimulated not only for reading, but for any act of communication to occur

The objective of this project is to present a literary translation from three short stories of German contemporary writer Julia Franck into Portuguese. The selected short stories are “Bäuchlings”, “Zugfahrt” e “Streuselschnecke” from the book Bauchlandung: Geschichten zum Anfassen (2008). In this project, I present also a small overview about assisted translation tools, including the Translation Memories, and their use by some translators and my experience as a novice user of this tool and the creation of a German-Portuguese glossary based on the translated short stories

This paper concentrates on the analysis of how, through the narrative elements, as narrator, characters and story, Guimarães Rosa builds the theme of justice in tales of Sagarana. While all the collection is taken into consideration, we emphasize in the study: O burrinho pedrês, Duelo, São Marcos, Corpo Fechado, Conversa de bois and A hora e vez de Augusto Matraga . We realize that justice built in tales always has two manifestations: human justice and divine justice, which regulates all the events of the stories

The World Health Organization (WHO) has created a program “Safe Surgery Saves Lives”, focusing on reduce and minimize life threatening or cause serious risk to health for patients submitted to a surgery. This primary goal for this presented study is to apply the checklist from the WHO´s program for children´s surgery in a public university hospital, located in the countryside of São Paulo State, Brazil. Having the responses from professionals surgery´s team, there is an opportunity for evaluation of the features and easiest parts, which are filled in a quickly and in a easy way; focus, supporting and assistance; issues, such as lack of time for filling in, and viability of application of this protocol considering the improvement of the cross functions relationship, and quality of services, providing better assistance and support to the patient

A comparison between the short stories The Man of the Crowd and Só! [Lonely] is made in order to set the contrast between characters and theme treatment, fictionally elaborated by the two writers, considering the concept of influence within the framework of Comparative Literature.

Contos de fadas e sequências didática: uma abordagem no ensino fundamental II

The proposal of this work is based on the elaboration of didactic sequences from fairy tales, for students of Elementary School, during reinforcement classes of Portuguese language. It is deemed appropriate to use this genre, because it gives to the child and to the adolescents a pleasurable reading, approaching them of playful situations. As a main goal of this work, this research aimed the preparation of didactic sequences using fairy tales in the classroom, as well as encouraging the reading for these students. The intention was also the internalization of the narratives and the messages conveyed by them, associating them to everyday situations. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar un análisis de varios factores relacionados al poeta y escritor francés Charles Perrault en su trabajo de transposición de los cuentos populares de la cultura oral a la cultura escrita. Aquí analizamos el contexto histórico en que vivió el autor, así como las condiciones sociales y económicas que generaban un determinado estilo de vida en aquel momento, es decir, el período pre-revolucionario, los abusos cometidos por las clases altas contra el pueblo y la búsqueda de la burguesía por promoción social. Analizará cómo todos estos factores, de alguna manera, han contribuido a la formación de una recepción favorable de Los Cuentos de mi Madre la Oca por la élite cultural de la época y del siglo siguiente. Con base en los estudios sobre la vida del poeta francés, también se ofrecen algunos acontecimientos personales y familiares que conforman la historia de la creación de su famosa colección. Por último, será analizada la categoría del narrador y su importancia para el sentido propio de la obra

The authors worked in a 4th grade room of elementary school and usedchildren's drawings in which the students have shown their impressions andunderstandings with sexuality and gender relations. The article reflect about themanifestations of sexuality, behaviors gender and sexual attitudes at the school andrelates to the necessity of sex education in a critical and reflexive approach, which,however, can only happen with the improvement of teacher training in sex education.

O emprego da literatura na educação infantil: a investigação e intervenção com professores de pré-escola

INTRODUCTION: The children's schools are expanded spaces of education and care for infants. The educator's role as mediator in learning is crucial to child development, and the use of children's books can act as an important methodological and pedagogical resource in this process. METHODS: This paper describes a psychoeducational intervention performed with the educators of a public pre-school with the following objectives: (a) register the collection of children's books of the school, (b) investigate the acquisition and use of children's books by the teachers and (c) offer an intervention to teachers regarding the educational use of children's books. The participants were seven educators who worked with children from 2 to 6 years old. RESULTS: The results indicate that among the 315 books in the school, the majority was about animal stories (75 books), fantasy and mystery (38), fairy tales and fables (34), formal learning (33), learning rules (33) and about nature and environment (22). The educators reported that the choice of books was made mainly considering the age group to which the books were directed, and also from the themes found in texts and/ or illustrations. Although the teachers believe that the books can encourage reading among children, they don't describe their use in planned activities and they report lack of knowledge about their use. CONCLUSION: The proposed intervention to the teachers allowed them to rethink the use of books in pre-school, instructing them to the utilization of the books aiming to stimulate the imagination and creativity, improving the critical and reflexive capability of the children.
