O presente trabalho reexamina momentos da História da filosofia desde o seu advento com Platão, na pretensa separação Mythos e Logos, até a sua completude em Descartes, com a inauguração da subjetividade como fundamento do mundo. A seguir, tenta-se mostrar o limite do pensamento representacional, fruto do subjetivismo, pela busca do fundamento no próprio mundo, revelado, na festa (xirê) na cultura negro-brasileira.
