The present study had the intention to demonstrate how the language used by official sources of economy helps to keep the limitation and lack of accessibility of economic journalism to non-specialist readers. Over two weeks, we compared the disclosures in the economics editorial office of the site Universo Online and the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo to those cited in official reports. From this analysis of more than 50 issues selected for the sample, was observed how the technical language used by the official press makes more difficult the access to information and citizenship. Besides the comparison and description of the reports, the study involved the content analysis employed in the media. It was noted the presence of biased approaches and materials poorly cleared. The language used in many cases was not appropriate to the type of audience for which the news was heading. One of the most serious problems, perhaps, was the copy and paraphrase of press releases. The reports, most are limited to the specialist showed, contrary to the duty of public transparency, while highlighting the problems, the study also showed well-written texts that indicate a promising future for citizen and economic journalism

The goal of this paper is to critically analyze the practices developed by Solidarity Economy and to merge them with social technologies, aiming to achieve social transformation of popular groups. This transformation consists in the empowerment of those groups in means of work organization, considering their self-management and also the development of techniques and technologies utilized. Based on the understanding that technical development has no neutral character and it follows linearity within society, a discussion around the forms and uses of technology is conducted here, aiming at the perspective of changes in technologies’ development and also assigning social character to them. To think of social technology requires us to consider the space in which it is inserted, once it refers to a collective demand that belongs to self-managed groups. Therefore, to intent beyond self-management work, new productive forces are discussed here, and also the analysis and adhesion of an alternative technology for popular cooperatives

There is realized in the last years a growing increase of the field of the goods turned to the childlike public. This world of objects is accompanied by an ideological world of fantasy allied to the act of consumption. The present inquiry consists of a work of reflection about the pertaining values to this ideology of the society of consumption propagated in the plot of childlike contemporary movies, in a sense of be positioning critically in front of the social and moral questions.

We intend to expose this paper a brief review about the social factors that include the capitalist system. Having the city of Rafard as our focus of study, we are going to analyze how agribusiness and migration have great political significance in this small town, and still are determining factors for socio-cultural training of its citizens, as well the formation and economic development of their own city. We are going to observe how a town with only 8.599 inhabitants is subjected to the laws dictated by capital through the interference of a large sugarcane agro industrial production unit present in its territory

This monograph aims to analyze the ability of the radical media to lead journalistic productions performed by O Globo during debates of the event Rio +20. The concentration of the major means of communication in the minor part of the population consolidates what can be called by hegemonic media. These media are primarily responsible for controlling the content viewed by a large portion of the population. Aiming a true plurality of information the alternative media day-by-day is looking for a bigger space within the communication market. Thus, the hegemonic media use capable tools to interfere in editorial policies consolidated by corporative media. One of those possible tools is the Culture Jamming, an activist action that interferes in a variety of marketing branches of communication. Therefore, having in its basis theorists such as John Downing and Perseu Abramo this study analyzed the journalistic content produced by the newspaper O Globo between the days 13 to 22 of June, in which the Rio +20 activities were held

This study examined the practices of crowdfunding, collective vehicle of fundraising for the production of works of culture, education, social programs etc over the internet. Through the analysis of registered projects and finalized in Brazilian site funding col-laborative Catarse, we were able to list interesting points to be considered to deter-mine what lead people to cooperate or not with this kind of practice. It was noticed that the internet materialized in front of individuals as an important vehicle for social participation, enabling the concern to collaborate on projects, people and causes that have common characteristics or interests bring benefits to society

Apontar tendências - a médio e/ou longo prazos - para uma área do conhecimento, desafio o pesquisador para o exercício da priorização e da sistematização, mas também evidencia que escolhas foram feitas. O objetivo deste trabalho foi o de reunir informações capazes de demonstrar o cenário comunicacional em duas grandes frentes: ensino e pesquisa. Sistematizar trajetórias institucionais produtivas, criar e expandir políticas públicas que articulem os múltiplos atores sociais em torno de um desenvolvimento sustentável e possibilitar a reflexão sobre os arranjos institucionais mais adequados para permitir a inclusão social etc, são alguns resultados frente ao mapeamento proposto nesse material. Reconhecer e relacionar temas, incluídas as estruturas produtivas e as políticas de CT&I, P&D, as interconexões entre as múltiplas dimensões da infraestrutura, especificamente das comunicações, possibilitaram o conhecimento sobre o amadurecimento das instituições públicas e privadas e de seus acervos informacionais. Dividido em duas partes, a primeira focalizou o Brasil e suas instituições científicas e a segunda que traçou o panorama da educação do Cone Sul. O resultado apontou tendências brasileiras da Comunicação na primeira década do novo século, além de traçar o cenário da Educação no Cone Sul, a partir da segunda década, fazendo um inventário do estado atual do conhecimento

O presente trabalho busca analisar a identidade proposta pelo jornal impresso O Estado de S. Paulo ao grupo manifestante Black Bloc durante o segundo semestre de 2013, período seguinte às Jornadas de Junho na cidade de São Paulo. Serão analisadas as notícias veiculadas no portal de notícias do jornal, assim como as publicações do grupo de manifestantes na página oficial do Black Bloc SP do Facebook na mesma época. O objetivo é mostrar qual a relação entre a identidade atribuída pela grande mídia ao indivíduo e a identidade reivindicada pelo mesmo na rede social

O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso é o desdobramento de uma pesquisa em nível de iniciação científica, financiada pela FAPESP, que teve como objeto de estudo o jornal Correio de Bauru. Dentre os aspectos analisados, privilegiamos a postura jornalística do periódico e a aproximação com sociedade, a presença da temática urbana, as diferenças e semelhanças com os grandes jornais dos anos 1920 e, ainda, o processo de modernização da imprensa do período. Nesse percurso, adotamos a metodologia de leitura das edições disponíveis em acervo a fim de identificar seu posicionamento editorial e político, a relação com a cidade e a sociedade, o ocupado dentre outras publicações existentes no município na época, além de sua contribuição para a História da Imprensa Brasileira e do interior paulista

This work explores the flash mobs, which are flash mobilizations arranged by intent that involve a large number of people to do something together in a pre-arranged place. With the advent of 2.0 Internet, the sharing of information and the mobile virtual communication grown up and showed behavior of an individual person to meet for a common interest. Those affective relationships born in the social networks come to the urban space in a real-virtual space junction and the possibilities of that are unexplored yet. Studied by this work, the Y generation is the flash mob most popular public and uses those mobilizations to reinforce their fan identity and appreciation for a media product

O tema abordado neste trabalho foi escolhido após uma experiência como monitora em um curso de informática para a terceira idade ministrado na Unesp - Câmpus de Rio Claro. A pesquisa é de caráter bibliográfico e teve como objetivo identificar e compreender possíveis benefícios e dificuldades que se mostram presentes em atividades envolvendo o uso de computadores por pessoas da terceira idade. A análise é feita com base em estudos teóricos sobre educação para a terceira idade em que se considera a qualidade de vida e desenvolvimento pessoal
