O veneno bruto de abelha Apis mellifera é composto por uma série de peptídeos, entre eles a melitina, adolapina, procamina A e B, apamina, tertiapina, secapina, peptídeos desgranuladores de mastócitos, entre outros. Estas substâncias apresentam diversos efeitos já estudadas, dentre elas, efeitos antitumorais, atividades hiperalgésicas ou analgésicas, inflamatórias ou anti-inflamatórias. O peptídeo secapina foi descrito há 35 anos atrás e, posteriormente nada mais foi relatado na literatura. Portanto, este é o primeiro trabalho que visa caracterizar o possível efeito hiperalgésico e/ou analgésico, inflamatório e/ou antiinflamatório, bem como analisar alguns dos mecanismos envolvidos nestes fenômenos. Para tanto, para caracterizar os possíveis efeitos hiperalgésicos/analgésicos da secapina, em diversas doses (0,005, 0,35, 1, 2, 10 e 30 μg / 50 μL), foi utilizado o teste de avaliação da sensibilidade dolorosa denominado teste do von Frey eletrônico. Para a caracterização do efeito inflamatório/anti-inflamatório da secapina foi utilizado o paquímetro digital determinando o volume da pata dos animais. Para investigar os possíveis mecanismos envolvidos nestes efeitos, foram realizados tratamentos farmacológicos utilizando indometacina, zileuton e zafirlikaste (inibidores da síntese da via da cicloxigenase, lipoxigenase e antagonista de receptor de leucotrieno, respectivamente). Os resultados mostraram que a secapina, em todas as doses testadas, induziu efeito hiperalgésico a partir dos primeiros 15 minutos após a administração deste peptídeo. Este efeito hiperalgésico persistiu por até 240 minutos nas doses de 0,005 e 0,35 μg/ 50μL e 480 minutos nas doses de 1 e 2 μg/ 50μL. O efeito edematogênico da secapina na dose de 0,35 μg/50 μL foi iniciado nos primeiros 15 minutos após a administração da secapina e persistiu por até 120 minutos, sendo... This paper aims to present some characteristics of Hispania in Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages (4th-8th centuries). Search through a brief analysis of the relationship between Christianity and the Catholic Monarchy stood raise some issues and questions. We understand that Christianity has played and plays a significant role in the historical development of the Iberian countries. But in its installation and attempt to consolidation as hegemonic religion in the peninsula, faced several challenges. His alliance with the monarchy stood represented one of the ways to make stronger its dominance. In turn, the Monarchy, preserving its characteristic elective associated strongly with Christianity, giving him a theocratic character trying to raise the sovereign above the fray aristocratic, without much success. Thus, our text points to some of the paths followed by these two elements, Christianity and Monarchy at the time of the Kingdom of Toledo, proposing more reflections and ways that effectively covering them. We hope to have achieved it.

What became accustomed to call “paganism” is undoubtedly one of the most significant forms of what is designated as “popular religiosity”. This expression, which seems useful when a generalization is required, shows all its weakness when a more precise and objective observation of a particular religion is attempted. Would the official visigothic kingdom’s “conversion” to Catholicism, with Recardo (586-601) at the Council of Toledo of 589 have effectively matched to the “conversion” of this kingdom’s population? Firstly, it is necessary to consider, in beyond the exalting intentions of the sources of that moment, that mass conversions do not imply a radical change in the convictions and religious practices of an entire people. Secondly, that “conversion” and “Christianization” are not synonymous. “Religiosity”, which includes the “conversion”, implies a fundamental religious attitude, which can simply be interior and personal. On the other hand, “religion”, in which “Christianization” is included, would correspond to a public aspect, institutionalized, which elaborates a set of techniques aiming, as in the case of “religiosity”, the guarantee of the supernatural Thus, elevated to the position of “official religion,” Catholic Christianity would live with a series of rites, rituals, devotions, from the previous “religiosity” that, through its ecclesiastical perspective, would be reprehensible, considered marginal and something that would lead to error. However, on the eve of the Muslim invasion in 711, not only among the laity but even in ecclesiastical segments, the manifestations of the “paganism” still were aim of coactive condemnation in the Catholic kingdom of Toledo’s councils.

We provide conservative translations from propositional modal logic KT (the simplest normal alethic logic) into propositional modal logic KD (the simplest normal deontic logic), and from this into the propositional modal logic K (the simplest normal logic simpliciter). Following an idea discussed by Jaakko Hintikka, these conservative translations are based on the third formulation of Kantian categorical imperative, the formulation of the Kingdom of Ends.

Preserving the organizational memory of public institutions means keeping the history of a society alive, managing communication, strengthening institutional image and thus build a good reputation. Therefore, institutions such as the Brazilian Senate and the United Kingdom Parliament are investing in virtual spaces to preserve the memory. A comparative study between those tools and the ways adopted for the memory preservation by both institutions is the main objective of the present work. The methodology consisted in the elaboration of categories that concern three priorities: democracy, internet and memory.
