Coarse grained sample with grains varying from small to medium in size. They range from sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. The sample is abundant in lineations and comet structures. Minor amounts of grain stacking are present. Inclusions of a clay rich, fine grained domain.

Very fine grained. Organic matter present. Lineations can also be seen throughout, mainly in one orientation suggesting a masepic fabric.

Brown to dark brown sediment with small to medium sized clasts ranging from sub-angular to sub-rounded. This sample contains a coarse grained domain and a fine grained domain. Clear boundaries can be seen. Grain stacking can be seen in the coarse domain, while lineations are the dominant microstructure in the fine grained domain. Minor grain crushing can also be seen. Some of the coarser domain is rich in clay and organics.

Fine grained sample with some small clasts. The small clasts are sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. Organic materials can be seen throughout the sample (darker areas). Lineations are also present throughout the sample.

This is a dark grey, coarse grained sediment with inclusions of fine grained sand. Lineations and grains stacking are the most common features seen, along with grain crushing (mainly edge-to-edge). A few minor rotation structures can also be observed with comet structures.

Fine grained, dark brown sediment. Minor amounts of lineations can be seen. Faint water escape structures are also abundant.

Mainly coarse grained with a separate fine grained clay domain occurring throughout the sample. The coarse grained domain contains clasts that range from small to medium in size. The clast shape ranges from angular to sub-angular. Grain crushing is abundant in this sample, along with lineations, and minor amounts of rotation.

The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. The coarse grained domain is abundant in lineations. The fine grained domain contains many faint water escape structures. The sample is mainly dominated with grain crushing. The finer grained domains contain some clay rich material. Some lineations and rotation structures can also be seen throughout the different domains.

Brown sediment with multiple domains. There are two finer grained domains that contain a few small clasts. These two can be distinguished based on the abundance of clay material(darker brown). The coarse grained sediment contains clasts ranging from small to medium in size, and angular to sub-rounded in shape. This domain contains lineations, rotation structures, comet structures, and some edge-to-edge grain crushing.
