A contribuição do pensamento de Emmanuel Mounier para uma reflexão ético-cristã-personalista da pessoa na contemporaneidade

A presente tese explicita a proposta da filosofia social, política, cristã e ética de Emmanuel Mounier, a partir de sua antropologia filosófica, cujo fundamento é a pessoa concebida não somente em sua pessoalidade, vocação essencial de sua existência, mas, sobretudo, na sua dimensão comunitária, social/ política e transcendental e na compreensão da pessoa como um ser-com-o-outro, chegando-se à idéia de comunidade como a estrutura social que melhor permite ao homem realizar sua natureza relacional. Com esses pressupostos discuto suas principais idéias, articulando éom autores que influenciaram e fundamentaram sua filosófica como Paul Louis Landsberg, Gabriel Marcel, Max Scheler, Paul Ricoeur, indo também ao encontro de Buber no que se referem alguns conceitos discutidos por ele e que guardam grandes aproximações com o pensamento de Mounier. Os elementos essenciais da idéia de Mounier são a existência incorporada e encarnada no mundo, a comunicação, a vocação e a liberdade. Logo, o modelo político que melhor poderia favorecer esse tipo de comunidade é a sua proposta de um projeto personalista, cuja estrutura social, política e econômica tivesse como primazia a pessoa, acima das instituições ou processo político e econômico, a qual está sedimentada no ser comunitário. O caminho para se chegar a esse modelo seria uma revolução permanente, sobretudo, uma revolução espiritual, fruto de uma descentralização social e econômica que reestruturaria toda a sociedade.

Do juízo de reflexão como condição para a compreensão do conceito de filosofia em Kant

O objetivo geral de nossa pesquisa consiste em averiguar, no interior das obras de Kant, mais especificamente nas Introduções à Crítica do Juízo – com ênfase na Primeira delas – a relação que acreditamos existir entre os juízos-de-reflexão e a liberdade do pensamento que, segundo nosso entendimento, é justamente o que caracteriza a essência da própria filosofia trancendental. Para tanto, nossa pesquisa desmembrar-se-á em três momentos que julgamos necessário: primeiro, trataremos da importância histórica e conceitual da Primeira Introdução e do motivo pelo qual esta obra foi considerada por muitos estudiosos de grande valia para a compreensão das questões apresentadas no corpo da Crítica do Juízo; segundo, compreender sob que condições o juízo de reflexão estão eles mesmos fundamentados no interior do sitema kantiano e a razão de sua inaplicabilidade ao conhecimento, seja da natureza seja da ação moral, ao mesmo tempo em que nos permite pensar nossas afecções e, portanto, ajuizar sobre representações, independente de qualquer relação lógico-conceitual; terceiro, tentar identificar em outros escritos de Kant a relação existente entre metafísica e filosofia pura, tentando entender por que elas, apesar de não se constituírem como uma doutrina no sistema da filosofia, são indispensáveis para a constituição e a validade de todo nosso conhecimento objetivo acerca da natureza.

A doutrina do método na terceira Crítica

The Doctrine of the method of the Critique of judgement concerns the faculty of teleological judgement (§ 79-91). In the beginning of this Appendix (§ 79), Kant aims on clarifying how teleological thought, according to the principle of final cause, interprets the essence and the phenomena of nature. However he makes clear: teleology is not a science, it does not belong to a doctrine, and it does not belong to theology as a part of it, for its object is not God, though in theology may be made the most important use of teleology (KU AA 05: 416). If teleology does not belong to theology and is not a science, why is there a necessity of a Doctrine of the method to the teleological judgement? Answering this incognito is the purpose of this text. And we will look for attaining it having as supposition that teleology, though if not having the doctrinal character of science that requires a Methodenlehre, may be seen as a critical science of passage, because it can intermediate the ambits of nature and freedom, and, as such, oscillate between natural science and theology.

Exact Solution of the Elastica with Transverse Shear Effects

A new derivation of Euler's Elastica with transverse shear effects included is presented. The elastic potential energy of bending and transverse shear is set up. The work of the axial compression force is determined. The equation of equilibrium is derived using the variation of the total potential. Using substitution of variables an exact solution is derived. The equation is transcendental and does not have a closed form solution. It is evaluated in a dimensionless form by using a numerical procedure. Finally, numerical examples of laminates made of composite material (fiber reinforced) and sandwich panels are provided.

A propósito de uma pedagogia do trágico: uma leitura de Os sete gatinhos de Nelson Rodrigues

O presente trabalho objetiva realizar uma leitura analítica dos aspectos extemporâneos implicados na criação da denominada tragédia carioca “Os sete gatinhos” escrita em 1958, pelo dramaturgo Nelson Rodrigues, com destaque para seu valor estético enquanto obra artística na abordagem de temas morais levantados pelo autor ao revelar, na expressão e no convívio entre os entes de uma família de baixa classe média, um modo de vida transcendental cunhado sobre valores historicamente cristãos. Sem desconsiderar os aspectos sociológicos implicados no contexto da peça, utilizaremos a genealogia nietzschiana como metodologia, considerando-a eficaz para a detecção dos pontos de fuga que a peça sugere ao desvelar através do fim trágico da família em questão sua relevância, além de artística, também educativa

Construções euclidianas e o desfecho de problemas famosos da geometria

Construction techniques with ruler and the compasses, fundamental on Euclidean geometry, have been related to modern algebraic theories such as solving equations and extension of bodies from the works by Paolo Ruffini (1765-1822), Niels Henrik Abel (1802-1829) and Evariste Galois (1811-1832). This relation could provide an answer to some famous problems, from ancient Greece, such as doubling the cube, the trisection Angle, the Quadrature of the Circle and the construction of regular polygons, which remained unsolved for over two thousand years. Also important for our purposes are the notions of algebraic numbers, transcendental and the criteria for constructability, of those numbers. The objective of this study is to reconstruct relevant steps of geometric constructions with ruler (unmarked) and the compasses, from the elementary to the outcome buildings, in the nineteenth century, considering those mentioned problems.

However, despite appropriating new technological tools, educational practices continue to be based on a supposed pedagogical subject conceived as a transcendent way, ignoring his emergence and his origin in a particular historical period , and the control mechanisms by which is immersed. as well. This article aims to present results of an analysis on technology and education based on the thought of philosopher Michel Foucault. We analyzed proposals and discourses found in articles in a magazine entitled Patio - Revista Pedagógica.

Vagueza e indeterminação na noção de história de Arendt

The purpose of this paper is to present the thought of Hannah Arendt on the historical narrativa, as the reading of theories of cognition and the sign of Peirce. It is not categorial parallelism, but to highlight some approximation in order to conceive the thought and language. For both, communication is important in the formation of your thoughts. While one has broader interests, the other directs its efforts to human society, politics and history. However, both authors agree on the fallible nature o four opinions, and reject the traditional philosophies, advocates of transcendental schemes, which are imposed, silencing the experience, the source o four opinions. The proposal, to seek the experience, the origino f opinions, ou interpretations, excluding transcental rules, but the community is what gives the character of the narrative indeterminacy. They do not escape from the temporal and social factors. Therefore, are subject to what gives them legitimacy, ie, freedom.

Characterization of multiple reflections and phase space properties for a periodically corrugated waveguide

Dynamical properties for a beam light inside a sinusoidally corrugated waveguide are discussed in this paper. The beam is confined inside two-mirrors: one is flat and the other one is sinusoidally corrugated. The evolution of the system is described by the use of a two-dimensional and nonlinear mapping. The phase space of the system is of mixed type therefore exhibiting a large chaotic sea, periodic islands and invariant KAM curves. A careful discussion of the numerical method to solve the transcendental equations of the mapping is given. We characterize the probability of observing successive reflections of the light by the corrugated mirror and show that it is scaling invariant with respect to the amplitude of the corrugation. Average properties of the chaotic sea are also described by the use of scaling arguments.
