The objective of this work is to determine the membership functions for the construction of a fuzzy controller to evaluate the energy situation of the company with respect to load and power factors. The energy assessment of a company is performed by technicians and experts based on the indices of load and power factors, and analysis of the machines used in production processes. This assessment is conducted periodically to detect whether the procedures performed by employees in relation to how of use electricity energy are correct. With a fuzzy controller, this performed can be done by machines. The construction of a fuzzy controller is initially characterized by the definition of input and output variables, and their associated membership functions. We also need to define a method of inference and a processor output. Finally, you need the help of technicians and experts to build a rule base, consisting of answers that provide these professionals in function of characteristics of the input variables. The controller proposed in this paper has as input variables load and power factors, and output the company situation. Their membership functions representing fuzzy sets called by linguistic qualities, as “VERY BAD” and “GOOD”. With the method of inference Mandani and the processor to exit from the Center of Area chosen, the structure of a fuzzy controller is established, simply by the choice by technicians and experts of the field energy to determine a set of rules appropriate for the chosen company. Thus, the interpretation of load and power factors by software comes to meeting the need of creating a single index that indicates an overall basis (rational and efficient) as the energy is being used.

A citação no facebook: uma análise dialógica

This study analyses the quotations from a specific Facebook page called Brasileiríssimos, which presents itself as a project aiming to publicize and value the Brazilian culture. For this analysis one can observe the use of concepts of traditional quotations, to highlight, when comparing to these formats, the different ways of quoting that can be found on this means of communication: Facebook. The research aims to reflect about how the image of the page is built from the dialogue between the I and the other. More specifically, we look at the dialogue of the author of the page with the quoted text and the reader. In order to analyze that, concepts of quotation from authors belonging to Bakhtin's Circle are going to be used, amongst others. These concepts constitute the analysis criteria of the quoted texts, especially on how the quotation is made. The chosen methodological approach is a qualitative analysis from the quotations made on Facebook, as well as texts that help to visualize the dialogue between the traditional forms of quotation and the forms found on the abovementioned page. On the proposed dialogue about the concepts of quotation it is possible to notice the production of meaning caused by the way in which the quotation is made, by how the author of the page inserts herself in relation to the quoted text and, finally, by the relation of the text with the reader. Because this research bases itself on the dialogical discourse analysis, it be turned to the concept of dialogism, analyzing discourses in contact. Departing from there, one of the main goals is to understand which discourses dialogue when the production of the quotation and in what manner the quotation is made on the chosen means of communication

A postura educativa de O Tico-Tico: uma análise da primeira revista brasileira de histórias em quadrinhos

Este trabalho discute a produção da revista O Tico-Tico, publicação de quadrinhos de mais onga duração no Brasil. A revista, que teria completado 100 anos em outubro de 2005, caracterizou-se por uma postura didático-pedagógica e pela disseminação de produtos quadrinhísticos genuinamente nacionais, dando oportunidade para a atuação de dezenas de desenhistas brasileiros e propiciando o aparecimento de diversos personagens de histórias em quadrinhos. Na década de 1960, desgastada pelo tempo e sofrendo a concorrência da televisão, a revista encerrou suas atividades, ficando na lembrança de seus leitores por sua abnegação a um modelo de educação para a infância que privilegiava o civismo, os bons costumes e a religiosidade

Análise do controle do equilíbrio em surfistas durante a postura ereta

INTRODUÇÃO: O surfe é uma modalidade que tem crescido bastante, aumentando o interesse nas pesquisas interessadas nos aspectos que podem influenciar no desempenho desses atletas, como, por exemplo, lesões, aptidão aeróbia e tempo de reação. Devido ao ambiente em constante mudança e de alta instabilidade exigido na prática do surfe, é necessário que os surfistas desenvolvam habilidades neuromusculares (agilidade, equilíbrio, força muscular e flexibilidade) para obter um melhor desempenho nesta atividade esportiva. No entanto, ainda são escassos os trabalhos científicos que se preocupam em investigar tais capacidades motoras em surfistas. OBJETIVO: O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o controle do equilíbrio em surfistas amadores em relação aos praticantes de outras atividades físicas. MÉTODOS: Os participantes permaneceram sobre uma plataforma de força enquanto realizavam tarefas que envolviam privação visual (olhos abertos ou fechados) e perturbação somatossensorial (superfície firme ou uso de espuma), com covariação das condições experimentais. As seguintes variáveis foram analisadas: velocidade e raiz quadrática média (RMS) do deslocamento do centro de pressão nas direções anteroposterior (AP) e mediolateral (ML). RESULTADOS: Os resultados mostraram que não houve diferença entre os grupos, durante as condições experimentais, isto é, tanto surfistas quanto grupo controle oscilaram mais nas condições de olhos fechados e sobre espuma. CONCLUSÃO: Apesar de o surfe exigir, por parte do esportista, uma grande capacidade em controlar o equilíbrio, os resultados não revelaram relação entre a prática deste esporte e um melhor desempenho no controle do equilíbrio. Porém, devemos considerar o reduzido tamanho da amostra e o fato de a modalidade exigir um equilíbrio dinâmico, enquanto o estudo avaliou o equilíbrio estático.
