O transporte público no município de Araraquara: origem, crise e as tramas da proposta de privatização da Companhia de Trólebus de Araraquara - C.T.A

For decades the Companhia Tróleibus de Araraquara was a national reference in public transportion, but in recent years it is in a process of bankruptcy and scrapping, characteristics of privatizing processes that has been occurring worldwide since the rise of neoliberal ideas. This monography is centered on the finance analysis of CTA to investigate what reasons led the public company to come in the current financial scenario, what are the interests that exist to privatize a public company and which consequences the sale of the of public companies have for a country of subordinate capitalism like Brazil. Most Brazilian cities are in an urban collapse due to the lack of public policies for public transportation and bulky incentives for private transportation. Furthermore, this monography aims to contribute for the study of urban mobility and point out if privatization is a way to improve life in the cities

As lógicas espaciais do sistema bancário: reestruturação das cidades de Marília, Ribeirão Preto e São Carlos

Esa tesis presenta un breve histórico sobre el sistema bancario brasileño, buscando entender las lógicas espaciales en tres ciudades paulistas - Marília, Ribeirão Preto y São Carlos - asociando el abordaje, sobretodo, al contexto de las ciudades intermedias, que es el caso de las las ciudades estudiadas en esta investigación. Realizamos este análisis a través del trabajo con algunas hipótesis sobre lógicas espaciales, refuerzo de la centralidad urbana y nuevas tendencias, con el fin de comprender posibles prácticas espaciales resultantes de reestruturacción urbana y de la ciudad, tomando en consideración que la fuerte presencia de distintas agencias, junto a los espacios comerciales de las ciudades, confirma la importancia comercial que estas ciudades tienen, revelando relaciones entre su ubicación y las posibilidades de atraer usuarios. Por lo tanto, el estudio de las lógicas espaciales ejecutadas por los grandes grupos que operan el sistema bancario ha tenido papel importante en la articulación entre reestruturación urbana y de las ciudades

O clima em sua regulamentação político-econômica: o acordo de Copenhague - COP 15

We know that the Earth goes through natural cycles that influence its climate and the development of their societies. In recent decades, climate changes and nature began to call world attention to the unbridled exploitation that was carried by the current economic system, causing unrest among scientific, social, political and economic world. The theory that man causes a warming in global temperatures by the release of greenhouse gases made the headlines of major newspapers in the world. From there, it was only a matter of time before environmental concerns became ownership of capital by its excessive appropriation. The fear of nuclear threat by the bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki left in fanfare the world, which together with the devastating impact of the exploitation of man and nature gave birth to the Environmental Revolution, a way of trying to change the development patterns of the time and behavior of the population. However, based on the historical form of capitalist domination, this was another measure that was apossada the economic system being transformed into economic value and political exchange. The origin of the conventions, meetings, conferences, parliaments set up to discuss environmental issues, eventually became forums of political and economic talks focused on environmental governance, valuing an asset that is public and everyone. Environmental and climate issue now has a value, thus turning the agenda on the agenda of the United Nations (UN) for its political and economic regulation in the form of global agreement. Procedimentos de pesquisa em geografia do comércio: uma proposição para o estudo das áreas centrais em cidades médias a partir da análise dos índices de densidade informacional da cidade de São Carlos (SP)

In this work, we address the informational Density Index (IDI) a methodological Option How To be used on the Research Procedures Analysis of Commerce Geography. The IDI and an indicator of Technological Complexity level of economic activities and a review and made a database from CNEFE / NCEA, where the first signifies the National Register of Establishments for statistical purposes and the second means a National Classification Economic Activities. Integração de condicionantes de morfologia urbana no desenvolvimento de metodologia para planejamento energético urbano

O objetivo desse artigo é apresentar as características gerais de uma nova metodologia para planejamento energético urbano, detalhando os procedimentos para integração de condicionantes de morfologia urbana, que constitui a primeira etapa de aplicação metodológica. Esta abordagem é inovadora e focada na integração de estratégias e soluções em morfologia e mobilidade urbanas, edifícios, energia e meio ambiente para planejamento de áreas em desenvolvimento urbano, novas ou a serem requalificadas, na escala de distritos, bairros e unidades de vizinhança. A análise dos resultados da aplicação metodológica no caso da operação urbana Água Branca indicou que a ocupação urbana por edificações e as densidades construída e populacional necessitavam ser compatibilizadas com a área livre requerida ao adequado dimensionamento da seção viária, no que tange a aspectos de climatologia e de provimento de infraestrutura e demanda para mobilidade urbana. Esta era uma premissa para o aproveitamento da luz e da energia solar em edificações e para que o sistema de transporte urbano fosse mais funcional e energeticamente mais eficiente.
