El ensayo de campo tiene como objetivo: determinar el efecto de rotación de cultivos y control de malezas sobre la cenosis de las malezas y sobre el crecimiento, desarrollo y rendimiento de los cultivos de soya y ajonjolí. Se realizó en el centro Experimental del Algodón (C.E.A.), Posoltega en primera de 1992. El diseño utilizado fue Parcelas Divididas en Bloques al Azar, utilizando la variedad Cristalina en soya y Turen en ajonjolí. La mayor abundancia inicial de las malezas entre las diferentes rotaciones se dio en la rotación algodón-soya inoculado, debido al predominio de malezas perennes y al crecimiento inicial lento de la soya inoculada. El control limpia periódica es el más eficiente, obteniéndose una menor abundancia final de malezas. Las malezas de mayor abundancia son las Monocotiledóneas, sobre todo las Poaceas, siendo notoria la baja presencia de Cyperus rotundus. La mayor biomasa se obtuvo en la rotación algodón-ajonjolí y en las rotaciones son soya sin inocular. La mayor diversidad de especies se obtuvo en la rotación algodón-ajonjolí (11 especies) y la rotación algodón-soya sin inocular obtuvo la menor diversidad (5 especies). El mejor rendimiento de soya se obtuvo en las rotaciones donde le antecedió algodón con rendimiento hasta de 1,611.7kg/ha sobre 814.9kg/ha que fue el rendimiento máximo de los monocultivos de soya.

Anodic bonding with thin films of metal or alloy as an intermediate layer, finds increasing applications in micro/nanoelectromechanical systems. At the bonding temperature of 350 degrees C, voltage of 400 V, and 30 min duration, the anodic bonding is completed between Pyrex glass and crystalline silicon coated with an aluminum thin film with a thickness comprised between 50 and 230 nm. Sodium-depleted layers and dendritic nanostructures were observed in Pyrex 7740 glass adjacent to the bonding interface. The sodium depletion width does not increase remarkably with the thickness of aluminum film. The dendritic nanostructures result from aluminum diffusion into the Pyrex glass. This experimental research is expected to enhance the understanding of how the depletion layer and dendritic nanostructures affect the quality of anodic bonding. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. We propose and analyse a new model of thermocapillary convection with evaporation in a cavity subjected to horizontal temperature gradient, rather than the previously studied model without evaporation. The pure liquid layer with a top free surface in contact with its own vapour is considered in microgravity condition. The computing programme developed for simulating this model integrates the two-dimensional, time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations and energy equation by a second-order accurate projection method. We focus on the coupling of evaporation and thermocapillary convection by investigating the influence of evaporation Biot number and Marangoni number on the interfacial mass and heat transfer. Three different regimes of the coupling mechanisms are found and explained from our numerical results.

在旋转流动系统中,由于柯氏力的作用,地形对流动的影响常呈现出与惯性系中很不相同的特点,近年来在地球物理流体力学研究中受到很大重视。 本文介绍了作者们在力学所旋转实验台上,针对近海洋流问题所作的一些旋转流体中地形影响的初步实验研究,在一扇形容器中用源汇法模拟了洋流的陆架地形绕流,过海脊流,绕岛屿以及沿径向有变深度地形的环流,这些初步的定性的结果表明,均质旋转流动系统确能反映大尺度旋转流动的某些动力学特征。

This study presents evidence from a case study of an ecological appraisal of Tatabu flood plain aimed at formulation management approaches for the enhancement of the fishing communities social economic and cultural realities. Tabtabu flood plain is located north of Jebba and at high water the ecosystems cover about 700 hectares. Fishing constitutes the principal economic activity of natural fish food and flora (especially phytoplankton and zooplankton) which support and favour the growth of over 26 fish species that belong to 15 families. Among the commercially important species in terms of dominance on percentage weight basis are Mochokidae, Cichlidae, Claridae and Characidae with an overall average standing crop of 88.24kg/ha based on gill net experiment. The study based on the intrinsic ecological attributes and local people willingness for sustained contribution of fisheries to food supply indicates that with adequate management Tatabu flood plain ecosystems have tremendous fishery potentials that would enhance the economic well being of the communities. Several management options that are applicable to similar plain are discussed

O Estado Novo Português (1932-1974) foi um dos mais duradouros regimes ditatoriais durante o Século XX. Oliveira Salazar, seu principal governante, importava-se com a manutenção das instituições de representação social, principalmente as representadas pelo lema: Deus, Pátria e Família, ou seja, a Igreja, a Nação (Império) e a Família. Esta última representava a base de toda a moral, ordem e harmonia do país, assim como os jovens destas famílias representavam o futuro da Nação. A Organização Nacional Mocidade Portuguesa fora instituída pelo decreto-lei n. 26.611, de 19 de maio de 1936, em execução da lei n. 1.941, de 11 de abril do mesmo ano pelo Ministro da Educação, Antônio Faria Carneiro Pacheco. Ela representava toda a juventude do país dos sete aos vinte e cinto anos, escolar ou não, e tinha por finalidade estimular o desenvolvimento integral da capacidade física, formação do caráter e a devoção à Pátria, no sentimento da ordem, disciplina e no culto do dever militar.

Coupling a single-mode laser diode with 200 mW to a single-mode fiber (SMF) through an orthonormal aspherical cylindrical lens and a GRIN lens for the intersatellite optical communication system is proposed and demonstrated. We experimentally studied how the coupling efficiency changes with the SMF's position displacement and axial angle variation, and obtained 80 mW output power at the end of the SMF, which shows that the coupling units have satisfied the designed request.
