Possibilidades de diálogo entre o conceito de ideologia em Bakhtin e a teoria das representações sociais

Introducing the theoretical trajectory of social representations theory, outline here the parallel between this theory in social psychology and the Bakhtinian concept of ideology. Both approaches include individual and society as inseparable and views the array of social construction of knowledge forms, related to day-to-day, or composed by formal record of science, as state, religion etc. With this interdisciplinary study, although limited, we hope to contribute to a better understanding of theories that have made important contributions to social psychology, linguistics, ethnography, cultural studies etc.

Multiculturalismo, diversidade cultural e cotidiano escolar: uma análise da temática em filmes de escola

This work has as its theme the multiculturalism, cultural diversity and their reflections in school everyday, more specifically on the interactions between the various subjects and social groups that make up a school and the teacher as mediator of the relationship between these guys. The theme Multiculturalism refers in the first instance, to the theoretical movement beginning in the mid-20th century in the United States and that spreads in the Western world as a way of tackling the conflicts generated depending on the economic issues, policies, and, in particular, cultural-ethnic, in an attempt to combat discrimination and prejudice, given the difficulties of individuals and groups to welcome and socialize with the plurality and cultural differences (SILVA; BRANDIM, 2008).At the same time, multiculturalism refers to cultural studies, through the Centre for Contemporary cultural studies, founded by em1964 Hoggart, and connected to the English language Department of the University of Birmingham in England.In contemporary times, due to the phenomenon of globalization and public policy to challenge prejudice and discrimination the subjects and social groups, regardless of color, creed, ethnicity, sexual orientation and nationality, this theme has been recurring in order to recognize plural identities and ensure and directly affects the school as a place of cultural diversity and conflicts generated by the very diversity.The present work aims to analyze and understand how the issue of multiculturalism and cultural diversity in school films. Our study will be based theoretically in Cultural Studies authors and uses the qualitative approach, working with movie content analysis of school, seeking to seize on the same relations of coexistence, conflicts and the mediations of teachers

Análise da implantação

his article is the result of an empirical research on the technology and market development resulting from the deployment of Digital TV in Brazil. Two aspects were selected to discuss the proposed question: the economic and political motivations that led to the digitization of broadcast TV in Brazil and the preliminary analysis of the effects on popularization of cyberculture in the Brazilian audiovisual scenario, changes can be observed in the production, dissemination and enjoyment of audiovisual content. For the development of the analysis the following theoretical and analytical tools were used: Theory Empirical Approach (Wolf, 1987), the Cultural Studies (Zallo, 1988; 1992), the digitalization media process (Lemos), the transition from television to cyberculture studies (Manovich, 2005) and (Fechine, 2013).

Design de superfície - abordagem qualitativa para fachadas corporativas

This paper reports the stage of a research on the corporate identity in commercial buildings. The objective of the research is to develop a system that aims to help the designer to enhance the transmission of the brand identity on the construction. At this step, we looked for the ascertainment of the variables that contribute to it in buildings considered as icons of brand identification in the building. And this paper also presents an analysis of a flagship located in Tokyo, from the Dior brand, which we used Surface Design techniques, combining cultural studies to geometric modeling, to Gestalt and Semiotics.

Esta investigação teve como foco a relação entre o professor da vida real e o personagem‑professor das telenovelas brasileiras, buscando saber se o docente se reconhecia na representação de professor da ficção. No cerne da questão está o fato de que, além de ser o programa de maior audiência no Brasil, a telenovela oferece modelos de identidade, extraídos e remodelados do cotidiano, bem como possibilita ao brasileiro ver‑se na tela, ainda que, na maioria das vezes, de modo mais idealizado que real. A necessidade de conhecer e analisar os modelos de professor que a telenovela faz veicular e o que pensam os docentes acerca dessas representações levou ao resgate histórico do personagem‑professor presente na telenovela brasileira no período de 1951 a 2006. Suscitou também a sondagem – por meio de questionário e observação – dos critérios adotados pelos docentes da Rede Pública Municipal de Ensino de Goiânia na sua identificação (ou não) com esses personagens das novelas. Com o aporte teórico dos estudos culturais de recepção, na perspectiva de Martín‑Barbero (1998; 2001; 2003; 2004) e Orozco Gómez (1997), é proposta a identidade profissional docente como uma mediação que articula a relação dos professores com os conteúdos da televisão e, de modo particular, intervém na leitura, interpretação e produção de sentido perante as imagens de professores nas telenovelas.

Stuart Hall, cultural studies e a nostalgia da dominação hegemônica

Stuart Hall é um dos poucos autores contemporâneos que ainda se apóia no conceito de ideologia. Ela interfere na língua falada definindo limites, regulando a forma discursiva com a intenção de estabilizá-la e congelá-la. Ela domina o bloco histórico e a estratégia seria a de unir as camadas populares, a partir de dentro, para que estas possam fortificar-se e combatê-la. Mas todo esse esquema tem sabor nostálgico, como se houvesse uma manobra dos poderosos e os dominados não se identificassem com os signos de poder e prestígio. Como no caso da “leitura crítica”, não seria o caso de modernizar Stuart Hall?
