The duality care-education is an aspect to be considered in the routine of childhood education institutions that have a nursery. The concepts of professionals who work in the nursery interfere with the developed practice, and require great concern regarding the continuing education. The objective of this study was to verify the effects of educational procedures on the concepts related to functions and benefi ts of the nursery for the child – from the professionals who work in a childhood education institution. These professionals were teachers and development assistants from municipal nurseries of Marília, interviewed four times – initially, after each of the two rearing procedures, and six months after the procedures. These procedures consisted of educational workshops, once a week, for one month, and 15 hours of supervised practices in the nursery. Both practices focused on the activities and their benefi ts to the child’s development. We found that the educators’ knowledge comes from common sense, and that educational workshops provided changes on their information levels, which were strengthened by supervised practice. The analysis indicates that the initial and continuing education of professionals need to consider specifi c aspects of child development, so more adequate concepts are built.

This text comes up a clipping from an applied research, qualitative approach, which sought to understand both the egocentric second Piaget, through a literature search, furthermore, from a study that was conducted with teachers from kindergarten and the first years of elementary school, we sought to delineate the representations of such teachers in this regard and its proximity to the theory in question. Therefore, the trajectory traveled consisted of explaining aspects the Vygotsky's critique to Piaget, with respect to egocentric thought; subsequently show how as Piaget responded to criticism of Vygotsky, and expound upon the egocentric thought present in your perspective. Were addressed, we sought to delineate the representations of fifteen educators about the phenomenon of egocentrism in children and its proximity with the theory of Piaget. It might thus as regards the literature, and bring the importance of recognizing and understanding the thought egocentric in Piaget, as a phenomenon is intrinsically linked to the development of the child and that we can approach your understanding. For representations of teachers, approached more subjectively common sense than the concepts found in psychological theory focused. Thus, this study allows us to understand the limits and scope of training courses for teachers, with regard to the dimension in focus.

The difficulties related to physics teaching are related to methodology, that hinder learning, because some physical concepts beyond the common sense of most students. Just as poor training of some physics instructors in teaching is pedagogical difficulties. And also factors of infrastructure, heterogeneity in students' previous training etc.. It is proposed aim of this work to use reflection of teaching practice as a methodology. Practiced in a private school, mostly state and, in high school in Rio Claro. The method consists of preparing a daily pedagogical practice in parallel to the development of teaching, for analysis and identification of factors that result in improving the teaching of physics and physics teacher qualification

O objetivo deste trabalho é fazer uma breve análise da argumentação empregada por Nelson Rodrigues ao escrever sobre seus “Personagens da Semana” em crônicas de futebol publicadas originalmente em jornais, dando ênfase ao modo como ele busca convencer e persuadir os leitores quanto ao mérito de cada escolha. Nessas crônicas, o autor desenvolve teses trabalhando com humor e mesclando o senso comum com um conhecimento de mundo que vai além do espaço específico do futebol

A prática da reescrita é um dos métodos mais eficazes para aprender a dar sentido aos textos produzidos, a escrever textos coesos e coerentes, a não cometer erros de gramática, a se familiarizar com a ortografia da língua e, consequentemente, cometer cada vez menos erros desse tipo. Além disso, a reescrita permite chegar a textos com argumentação bem construída, a sair de textos de senso comum, a deixar de lado a linguagem infantilizada, a escrever para um leitor que não apenas o professor e a se acostumar com as características próprias de cada tipo de texto. Foram realizadas análises de textos escritos por estudantes do 2º ano do Ensino Médio a partir dos pressupostos teórico-metodológicos referentes ao paradigma indiciário, paradigma este que permite análises do tipo qualitativa, desenvolvido no âmbito das ciências humanas. A partir do olhar de detetive proposto pelo paradigma indiciário foi possível indicar os erros cometidos pelos estudantes, fazê-los refletir sobre os próprios textos e melhorá-los através da reescrita. Os resultados obtidos com as refacções mostram que é este um método eficiente de se trabalhar em sala de aula, pois essa prática permite que o aluno se volte para os seus erros de forma a corrigi-los. Além disso, é possível concluir que essa prática constante tende sempre a trazer resultados positivos, visto que quantas mais forem as reescritas, melhor o texto se torna. Nesse sentido, a utilização do paradigma indiciário é muito pertinente por permitir uma análise minuciosa, mais atenta aos erros cometidos e às análises dos mesmos

A energia solar fotovoltaica tem se destacado como uma opção de fonte energética limpa e muito confiável. No entanto, é a Europa que detém a maior representatividade fotovoltaica no mercado mundial, indo contra o senso comum de que seriam os países pertencentes ao Cinturão do Sol aqueles com a maior capacidade instalada. Apesar das condições favoráveis para o desenvolvimento da fonte, o Brasil possui um mercado muito deficitário, contando apenas com poucos projetos de incentivo para levar eletricidade para comunidades carentes afastadas dos centros de geração ou das redes de distribuição. O país carece de programas exclusivos para a energia solar fotovoltaica que proporcionem incentivos ao mercado, a fim de impulsionar a indústria local e estimular o investimento no longo prazo para a maior diversificação da matriz energética brasileira. Assim, o presente estudo buscou ilustrar e analisar o cenário do mercado brasileiro atual da energia solar fotovoltaica, apresentando seus saldos comerciais com os quatro principais mercados mundiais para a fonte: Europa, EUA, Japão e China, segundo os dados disponibilizados pelo banco de dados Aliceweb para os itens 8541401, 8541402 e 8541403, classificados segundo a NCM

This research is aimed at discussing the ways in which social agents influence global warming, analyzing the discourse of social actors involved in the debate on climate change, since there is a wide divergence in the scientific community about how man is able to modify the climate on a global scale. In fact the debate that permeates the issues beyond the limits of science and enter into a political-economic framework that takes extraordinary proportions. This emphasis can be very unscientific in the fundamental design concepts, or even creating a trivialization of the media. The main way to convey these concepts is to disclose them in the media, but the media has enormous power to transform the concepts and often manipulate the news by creating a common sense goes against the interests of the scientific community. Thus was conducted extensive research in major newspapers and magazines that move in the country. We surveyed the first two papers which were: “Folha de S. Paulo” and “O Estado de S. Paulo”, during the period from January 2000 to December 2008, totaling 3285 units for the newspaper Folha and 2555 for the newspaper Estadão. Subsequently a survey was made of data published in two journals that move at the national level, and these are the magazines VEJA and ÉPOCA for the same period. By performing these steps, it was concluded that several factors involving the media and climate change, such as topic relevance, types of approaches, perspectives of analysis, the staff development, supplies, among other factors of utmost importance for building news. As a result we can say that the media in fulfilling its role of mediator scientific, disclosing only a vision that permeates the scientific debate. The historical and social process has built models of masculinity and femininity that culminate in standards and norms to be followed by individuals in their social interactions. In recent decades studies based on the discussions that originated in the feminist movement have been investigating how social institutions, including medicine and other health sciences, have established standards of masculinity and femininity throughout the history, nurturing this sexist discourse on common sense and sciences. Social roles are assigned to the genera specifying rigid boundaries of behavior and social control. The notion of the female predisposition to physical and emotional disorders has prompted speculation within academic strands culminating in the creation of specialized medical illness that would prevent the female, the male permeated by notions of endurance and strength has become synonymous of a healthy body, confirming the male domination and the economic and political role of men. This research concerned to study and investigate through semi-structured interviews and content analysis, conceptions of gender and the differences between men and women in reports of 11 health professionals. The results indicate that in large part the conceptions of health professionals reproduce the hegemonic discourse about what being a man and woman. Further research could investigate the relationship between women and men with health care as well the care provided by health professionals

This paper focuses on the profile of students of bachelor and teacher training degree in Chemistry and UNESP/Araraquara. Statistical and comparatives analyzes were performed with a large amount of quantitative data on those who registered and passed the entrance examinations of these courses. This information was interpreted based on the concepts of economic and cultural capital developed by Pierre Bourdieu. The first analysis concerned the approval in entrance exams and brings important conclusions regarding the aspects that favor entering university: confirmation of "preparation courses effect"; major weight of cultural capital in relation to economic capital; and observation of the phenomenon of self-selection in relation to the bachelor's under graduation course. The second analysis points to important differences in the profile of a group of students that could be considered homogeneous due to the choice of chemistry course. In addition to bringing new information on the profile of students of chemistry, our analysis has the merit of translating and quantitatively reveals ideas conveyed in common sense about passing the entrance exam.

In this paper, the discourse about reading skills uttered by teachers and students is analyzed. The analyses are supported by the Bakhtin’s studies concerning the discourse that necessarily consider the meaning affected by the sphere of the activity in which the enunciation occurs. The concrete utterance, in this perspective, has its identity in relation to the social values that constitute the conscience of the author and in the ideologies that materialize in the discourse, which is always marked by the constitutive relation between the other person and me. The results indicate the following conclusions: the common sense discourse about reading appears in the answers of the analyzed teachers, which consider their students like bad readers, these professionals also do not recognize the technology as a source of reading for their students. Thus, reading that interests the students is not acceptable in school. The symbolic violence practiced by school appears at the moment that the teacher does not consider the student’s language and the readings that interest them; it also appears when the teacher prevents their students to have new readings; moreover, reading is always unique as it is neither new, nor unrepeatable, so it the plurality of meanings is impossible.

In this article we analyze discourses of teachers on the linguistic practices of their students and discourses of future teachers. We consider studies of Bakhtin on dialogism and ideology in the production of meanings. Results indicate the following conclusions: the student in the analyzed discourses is a bad speaker, a bad writer, a bad reader, the great villain of language and reading in school is the advent of new technologies and languages which introduce new practices that have not been accepted by the interviewees. In this discourses, we can notice ways that can be taken into consideration in new teacher’s formation courses.

In this article we aim to discuss the importance of reading, writing and the book in the subject’s performance in society. This discussion tries to put these elements in time and social space. Therefore we want to show how these cultural practices of reading and writing, combined with the book can determine the development of the subject, when able to access these technologies effectively. The expected results are the change of the superficial aspects and common sense about reading, books and writing. Hope that it contributes to the expansion of the discussions on these themes. We hope to collaborate to the discussion which is being developed within the educational context on reading, books and writing, and the relationship resulting from the development of the subject in society and their ability to read and write.
