Só de corpo presente: o silêncio tácito sobre cor e relações raciais na formação de professoras no estado do Pará

O artigo mostra um dos graves problemas da educação no Brasil: o não enfrentamento da discriminação e do preconceito. Mais do que denunciar sua existência, ele analisa uma de suas matrizes: a ausência da discussão sobre raça, cor e preconceito na formação do docente no Pará. Por meio da análise da formação oferecida pelo Instituto de Educação do Estado do Pará, uma instituição secular, referência para a formação docente no estado do Pará, demonstra que boa parte das ações das professoras decorreu de uma formação que não tratou de aspectos fundamentais, como as narrativas sobre a constituição da nacionalidade brasileira. Conclui-se que, a despeito de sensíveis avanços advindos dos movimentos sociais em relação à questão racial desde a década de 1960, a formação de professores se apresenta como um fator que continua contribuindo na reprodução de estereótipos e discriminações.

O Trabalho do Professor em Sala de Aula: ensinando a ler e a escrever

Atualmente, a alfabetização como trabalho escolar encontra-se em situação bastante complexa. O ensino tem sido criticado, com freqüência, a ele são atribuídos os baixos desempenhos dos estudantes em leitura e escrita. A formação dos professores também é questionada por não ser adequada à realidade educacional do país. Na prática, observamos o embate de novas propostas pedagógicas – sobretudo da estruturação curricular em ciclos e do construtivismo - com as práticas que há muito tempo predominam no sistema de ensino. As interpretações das propostas pedagógicas não são uniformes no trabalho docente, variam com nas escolas e nas salas de aula. Muitas vezes, o construtivismo é confundido com antigos métodos. Como o ensino atual é afetado por propostas de mudanças pedagógicas complexas, a compreensão do que ocorre com a alfabetização pode ser facilitada com a distinção entre as práticas vinculadas a diversas concepções teóricas.O estudo da didática da alfabetização pode ajudar ao desenvolvimento desse processo por permitir identificar as transposições das diversas concepções teóricas para o trabalho escolar. Neste artigo, apresentamos uma visão geral das abordagens metodológicas e das práticas didáticas a elas correspondentes. Para isso, revisitamos os métodos de alfabetização, a proposta feita pedagógica elaborada por Paulo Freire para a alfabetização de adultos.

O curso de Pedagogia nas Atuais Políticas Públicas para o Setor Educacional.

Ao abordar as principais estratégias e ações governamentais para a reconfiguração dos papéis a serem assumidos pelo Estado e pela educação superior, o presente artigo tem por objetivo discutir as políticas públicas para a educação enfatizando, nesse contexto mais amplo, a situação atual dos cursos de Pedagogia. Essa perspectiva requer uma incursão nas diretrizes im/pro - postas pelo Banco Mundial e seus reflexos no esforço oficial para a reforma do Aparelho de Estado, encetada pelo Ministério da Administração e Reforma do Estado (MARE). Desde a aprovação da LDB 9.394/96, de forma orgânica, novas políticas de formação de professores vão se delineando por meio da legislação correlata que a regulamenta. A análise desse arcabouço legal estará referenciada tanto nos documentos do MARE, quanto naqueles elaborados pelo Ministério da Educação visando o cotejo entre as medidas por eles propostas com as determinações expressas na LDB e na legislação complementar.

Professores e pesquisa: da formação ao trabalho docente, uma tessitura possível

This paper is the result of a research called Pedagogic Research in Education Schools: Aspects of the Work Conducted by Teachers developed at the post-doctorate training level at Fundação Carlos Chagas. It proposes a reflection on the concept of research that seeks to define and clarify their specific features, and brings about some of the differences that define the university, the school and the pedagogic researches, indicating the relevance of the last one in the teachers’ training process. The relationship between research and teachers’ training is highlighted as well as the need of a curricular restructuring in Education courses , in order to think research as a forming axis in teachers’ formation. Furthermore, the contributions of research in the teaching formation and practice is addressed, along with the study of school daily activities, focused on the necessary moment to put the assumptions underlying teachers’ practices into practice and also to experience socialization among students, teachers and other professionals in this field of knowledge.

Escolaridade de professores atuantes na educação infantil da cidade de Irati Estado do Paraná

The present study had as the main purpose to verify the teacher’s formation who update in the child education institutions of the Irati city (Parana State – Brazil), throughout the years of 2005, 2006 and 2007, and their implications for the pedagogical actions. Seven institutions they had participated of the study. The data collection was made by means of documents of the institutions. A predominance of secondary school in the formation of the teachers was verified, even so had still one high index of professionals with formation level below of this requirement to the legislation. We conclude that it has urgency to the implementation of public politics directed toward the child education, with focus for the formation’s teachers.

O saber fazer docente na educação para a sexualidade em Coimbra, Portugal: a realidade de 02 escolas de ensino básico

The research addresses the teacher know-how in relation to how it is crafted to education for sexuality in two public schools in Coimbra - Portugal, with teachers from different areas of the 3rd cycle of basic education (humanities, sciences and biological sciences), which corresponds to the Elementary School II in Brazil. It will be based on law 60/2009 of August 6, regulated by Decree 196-A of April 9, 2010 of the Ministry of Education - Portugal, which establishes the implementation of sexual education in primary and secondary schools across the country. This research is funded by FAPESP - Research Support Fund of the State of São Paulo, process number 2011/12902-3. The research was based on a qualitative approach, conducting case studies and using semistructured interviews for data collection. The performance of the topic of sexuality and gender relations at Portuguese’s classroom aims to provide young people the opportunity to exercise their sexuality in a responsible, healthy and pleasurable way. The law seeks to ensure that this work is established in the Portuguese school effectively. Therefore, the trajectory of teachers formation (initial or continuing) will also be a focus of this research, to understand how and where it is built and how they act in their daily classroom practices, with their students the sexuality and gender relations

Uma análise fenomenológica do uso de jogos e materiais manipulativos no ensino de matemática

This work investigates the reasons that take teachers to use or not use manipulative materials in mathematics education as well as the knowledge that teachers of Basic Education schools of the city of Guaratingueta have about such resources. The experience in the classroom, while participating in projects, showed that these resources are important allies in knowledge production. However, we noticed that they are not often present in the teachers teaching practice. This leads us to investigate the relevance of such education resources from authors like Grando (2000) and Macedo (2012) and try to see the idea that math teachers have about their use. For this research we developed a questionnaire and we headed teachers to obtain data. Assuming a posture qualitative with phenomenological approach, organized researched data and interpreted following the procedures described by Bicudo (2011) and Machado (1994). We built three categories or regions of generality that lead us to consider that, for our research subjects, the use of manipulative materials is significant as Didactic Resources and Learning Aid, however, used from a Naïve Knowledge that does not involve reflection on practice or relies on theoretical concepts

O perfil dos alunos do curso de Pedagogia da UNESP de Bauru (2007-2010)

The present work aims to expand and contribute to the understanding of issues related to social demands urgent today as regards of teachers’ formation of kindergarten and initial series. Through a survey of the profile of students in four years (2007-2010) of Pedagogy, UNESP, Bauru, I propose to trace discussions about the student profile that seeks to train teacher in higher education. This process will reveal the profile of the student who is preparing to enter the teaching profession and who in later years will work in public and private spheres of education as a teacher, coordinator and manager in the kindergarten and elementary education. For this research will develop both qualitative approach in that it analyzes the profile to the light of the literature and studied quantitatively the extent that is based on the results

Marcas da formação escolar, acadêmica e docente: uma análise dos memoriais de formação de alunos(as) do PROESF

This work describes and contextualizes the PROESF - Special Program for Teacher Training Exercise in the early grades of elementary school and children education in municipal schools of metropolitan region of Campinas. The PROESF was organized by University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and remained from 2002 to 2005 graduated about 1600 teachers. The objetives of this course was provide pedagogy formation to teachers in activity in elementary schools and children schools from municipalities of this region. The course also intended to improve the quality of the education and teachers formation. At the final part of course, the teachers had to elaborating a memorial of formation. These materials can be accessed on the website of UNICAMP. The contribution of these memorial of formations can help to think about the teachers formation. This study was a qualitative research from these materials for 2008, and the objective is to identify the marks the formation perceived by these teachers and contributions for them formation. It is understood by marks the formation school memories significant for this group of teachers, stressing the points of what the academic formation contributes for the teacher in day-to-day in the school and what life in the classroom as a teacher marked the teaching practice. A calculadora como ferramenta de aprendizagem

This paper talks about the importance of the calculator as an aid to student learning, being a powerful educational tool when used properly by the teachers. It‟s also exposed some issues related to the calculator to better understand concepts that help the student learning. As a last activity there is an applied research with Math Teachers at Ana Fausta de Moraes school in Guaratinguetá town, SP, in order to expose the reality about the use of the calculator as a teaching resource
