Helping Local People and Local Communities create a Healthier Environment The healthy gardening project is a ten week programme which runs in community gardens/allotments throughout the county in partnership with community development projects. The underpinning values of the approach taken are holistic in nature and cover the areas of individual and community health and wellbeing, ecosystem health, environment and sustainablility. WTID Community Garden

WTID rents allotments to members of the community which promotes grow your own. WTID Nutrition and Cooking Classes

In partnership with the VEC WTID has delivered Nutrition Level 5 FETAC to a group of 24 learners, 4 being members of the Travelling community.  This module was also delivered to 5 Childcare staff at WTIDs pre-school service. Staff of the Harmony Afterschool Service undertakes baking activities each week with the children. Group work has been facilitated with 16 men who were on a BTEI on salt, sugar, caffeine and fibre, as well as with a young girls group on food tasting of various fruits, cheeses and how to make healthy potato wedges and other healthy snacks. WTID as part of the local Traveller Interagency Group are writing a well-being manual to be used with community groups working with Travellers- Healthy Eating is a module of this manual. Plans are in place to run a First Instincts Men's Health programme which will run over an 8 week period with workshops, weigh ins and provision of a healthy breakfast on each morning. Associacions Acollidores d'immigrants : propostes d'intervenció

La primera part del treball presenta l'anàlisi d'una associació d'acollida d'immigrants a Crevillent (el Baix Vinalopó). Posteriorment es plantegen una sèrie de projectes educatius multiculturals que pretenen la creació de vincles entre la comunitat immigrant i la receptora. Alhora, es fan comentaris i valoracions dels conceptes d'integració, pluriculturalitat i multiculturalitat.

Desenvolupament d’un blog per al Centre Cívic de Vidreres: Una eina útil per a l’acció d’orientació i informació del psicopedagog

Descripció de les pràctiques realitzades a l’Escola d’adults de Vidreres, en què es crea un blog com a eina de recollida i actualització de les activitats i informació del Centre cívic del poble, i també on s’hi recullen les eines que utilitza el psicopedagog per ajudar als alumnes de l’Escola d’adults

Intervenció psicopedagògica en la formació d’adults: anàlisi dels perfils d’estudiants d’un centre de formació d’adults per a la millora de la intervenció psicopedagògica

La formació d’adults , en la formació inicial de Psicopedagogia, se’ns sol presentar com una possibilitat formativa allunyada del sistema educatiu més habitual. Tradicionalment la tasca psicopedagògica s’ha centrat en les etapes obligatòries, en la infància i adolescència, i les etapes adultes no s’han tingut en compte de la mateixa manera. En els darrers anys sembla que s’està recuperant la importància de l’aprenentatge al llarg de la vida, i per tant, veiem que les etapes importants ja no només són la infància i adolescència, sinó que l’adultesa i senectut també poden esdevenir etapes protagonistes pel que fa a les possibilitats formatives i als processos d’ensenyament- aprenentatge. En aquest treball ens centrarem en la Formació d’adults reglada, en el context d’un Centre de Formació d’Adults (CFA). L’objecte d’estudi en aquest treball seran els diferents perfils dels alumnes del CFA de Vidreres que realitzen els estudis de preparació de proves d’accés (A cicles formatius de grau mitjà o superior, o bé a la Universitat) per establir els perfils generals dels alumnes en base a creences i conductes detectades i així poder-los tenir en compte en la intervenció psicopedagògica
