Possibly drawn and written in the hand of President Joseph Willard. The proposed building would house a chapel, halls, chambers for scholars, and was to be built on the site of the first Stoughton Hall which was torn down in 1781.

Recommendation of Elisha Parmele as a candidate for ministry, July 3, 1781

This document describes Parmele's examination before an association of ministers in Berkshire County and records their subsequent decision to recommend him as a candidate for "the gospel ministry." Stephen West was the moderator of this meeting, and Daniel Collens was its scribe.

Folio-sized paper unattributed copy of John Davis's 1781 Commencement poem. The last page is no longer attached. The last page is inscribed “From your Humble Ser’t David Daniells" and the verso has the phrases: "The amiableness of religions" and "Constantinople burnt to ashes."

Handwritten document requesting the Corporation to investigate the Bradish's Tavern incident in order to "take such steps as they shall think proper in order to secure the honour of the College." The document mirrors the Faculty Minutes (UAIII 5.5) for June 23, 1781. The ink is faded.
