Construções gramaticais e questões estilísticas no livro Piccoli equivoci senza importanza, de Antonio Tabucchi

The translation project of some short stories of the book Piccoli equivoci senza importanza, written by the Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi, was performed during the academic years. This thesis target is to analyze grammatical and stylistic issues of the short stories; to achieve this goal, parts of the original texts and their respective translations were used. The grammar section approaches important aspects as idioms, false cognates and different verb regencies between Portuguese and Italian. The stylistic part focuses on Tabucchi´s choices regarding the narrator, focalization, types of speech and interior monologues in his texts; these options characterize the Italian writer´s style and make his stories plots intense. As a conclusion it can be noticed that this work is relevant to give a forward step in the Italian literature studies field, because it contributes to an important author style study and provides the analysis of which choices compound the text and the effects they cause

A educação física escolar, o basquetebol e o livro didático: avaliação do contexto da aprendizagem

Embora garantida por leis, a Educação Física enquanto prática pedagógica em muitas escolas ainda baseia-se em uma concepção tradicional relacionada ao ensino tecnicista de algumas modalidades esportivas, com caráter de reprodução dos movimentos técnicos. O basquetebol, como as demais modalidades esportivas na escola, possuía durante o período esportivista características nítidas deste período. Atualmente, com as novas propostas pedagógicas tanto da Educação Física escolar quanto da pedagogia do esporte, o ensino do basquetebol pode estar atrelado com a concepção de cultura corporal de movimento no qual a modalidade não deve ser abordada somente de maneira procedimental (o saber fazer) e o aluno deve que ser considerado como sujeito ativo do processo. Um dos caminhos para propor a relação entre cultura corporal de movimento e o ensino do basquetebol é por meio da implementação de um livro didático, construído a partir pressupostos teóricos, Galatti (2006) e Rodrigues (2009), os quais realizaram propostas que melhoram a compreensão dos conteúdos referentes ao basquetebol. Portanto, o objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar o processo de ensinoaprendizagem de um grupo de alunos do sétimo ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública estadual do município de Rio Claro, SP, a partir da aplicação de um livro didático constituído de conteúdos referentes ao basquetebol atrelados a perspectiva da cultura corporal de movimento. Para isso foi aplicado um instrumento avaliativo com todos os alunos participantes antes e depois da implementação das aulas, analisando-se também os livros respondidos pelos alunos e, finalmente, avaliando a aprendizagem deles por meio de um grupo focal. Livro didático e educação física escolar: interlocuções e entrelaçamentos

This study aimed to analyze the relationships – some already established and others that are still necessary – between the obligatory curriculum component Physical Education and the textbooks, understood as materials that assist both teachers and students during the teaching and learning process. In this way, we focused the discussion on some topics that have enabled a greater understanding of textbooks for Education in general and for School Physical Education more specifically, taking into account their specific characteristics. There were also some understandings about School Physical Education in Brazilian contemporary society as well as some official regiments about this curriculum component. Finally, it was elaborated some propositions that seek to generate interlacements to a deeper comprehension about textbooks in Physical Education classes. We concluded that although there are (few) textbooks in the area and some curriculum proposals from different Brazilian States that quest new ways of conceiving the teaching and learning process of School Physical Education, it is important to have more understandings about the roles of these materials in the pedagogical practice, as well as studies that can enable ways to treat this curricular component that could contribute to the critical and reflective educational practice during the years of schooling in Basic Education

O valor mágico do olhar no capítulo 35 do livro I do 'Opus agriculturae' de Paládio

Blood is one of the most important and powerful elements in magical and religious symbology. As it is an essential substance for animal survival, it does not sound strange that through the ages blood has been given many significant symbolic values (both positive and negative). It can provide life, protection and prosperity in the same proportion that it can cause calamities, destruction and even death. In Opus agriculturae, a farming treatise written by Palladius (V AD), more specifically in Book I, Chapter 35, the author presents prescriptions to protect farms against scourges and climatic phenomena. He mentions some procedures in which blood is a fundamental component in the success of the prescriptions. The aim of the present article is to identify any magic power associated with these practices, their specific symbolic value, especially when related to menstrual blood and to other feminine elements with some magical or religious value. An evaluation is also made of the extent of these symbologies in the context of other practices and situations linked not only to agricultural magic, but to religion and to the ritual practices of other communities, whether in ancient times or not.

Análise sobre padrões de relacionamentos amorosos no livro Sex and The City

The researches on sexuality, especially from Foucault’s critical analysis, have been denouncing that the sexual repression also happens through the patterns that suggest a fixed happiness model to be followed, not considering the autonomous development of the subject. The aim of this descriptive-qualitative study was to make a critical analysis of the content of the book Sex and The City, which presents narratives about sexual and love relationships in New York. This analysis evidenciated the reproduction of outdated sexual concepts presented on the following thematic categories: (1) Comprehension of the single woman as lonely and unhappy; (2) Comprehension of the single woman as independent and consumerist; (3) Comprehension that the single woman needs a heterosexual relationship related to the happy romantic ideal; (4) Comprehension of the love relationships as commodities: people as objects of use and exchange. The sexual and love patterns presented by the book demonstrate the repression reproduced uncritically by the mass culture. The Psychology has been an important area of the science to denounce the control of the sexuality from these perverse and ideological patterns.
