O que acontece durante o recreio em duas escolas da cidade de Jaú com crianças do 2º e 3º ano do ensino fundamental

This work had how I aim to notice what it happens in the recreation of two schools of basic teaching I, more precisely with children of the 2nd and 3rd year, analysing what they do and since they play. The interest in observing this moment is the fact of, at present, the children they have not many places to play, principally due to the violence and gradually places with structure for the same thing; the streets are already not any more places where the child can play the friends calmly, interact with other, his turn discovers the world and principally to enjoy itself. With these facts the school becomes the most appropriate place so that the child can play and interact with other children and at the same time to be protected leaving so the most carefree parents. The school becomes the great back yard in the life of the child, when several activities are happening there more and in this way developing not only the communication, the spirit of collaboration and of companionship, the co-ordination motora in general and the autonomy. Therefore the recreation makes an important time into the school life, moment in which the child can practise the universal right that is secured of playing

Motivos de permanências nas vivências em atividades físicas de aventura na natureza

O meio urbano cresce rapidamente a cada dia tomando o lugar das árvores, da vegetação e dos animais silvestres. Esse crescimento, associado ao desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias que visam facilitar o cotidiano das pessoas, muda as práticas habituais, afastando a população citadina das atividades físicas e da natureza. Nesse contexto as atividades realizadas em meio natural vem conquistando um interesse cada vez maior de pessoas, que as procuram por diversas razões. Baseado nessa curiosidade procurou-se investigar os agentes incentivadores à permanência nas práticas do rapel, do cascading e do canyoning. O estudo teve uma natureza qualitativa e constou de pesquisa bibliográfica aliada à pesquisa exploratória, a qual utilizou como instrumento para coleta de dados questionários mistos, aplicados a uma amostra intencional composta por 10 praticantes de cada uma dessas modalidades citadas. Os dados foram analisados descritivamente, pela Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temático e indicam que o ambiente natural associado a estas práticas, bem como, a perspectiva de fuga do cotidiano e a possibilidade de ampliação das relações interpessoais, representam algumas das importantes influências para a permanência nas atividades físicas de aventura na natureza.

O ensino de informática para crianças: um estímulo à aprendizagem

The use of computers in childhood education makes it possible for them to acquire knowledge in a fun way through games. This paper describes the experience of implementing the course “Computers for Children”, which is part of a University Extension Program at the School of Dentistry at UNESP - Araraquara. This course is offered to children aged 5-7 years old and it aims, not only, to offer children, via computer, a direct contact with new teaching technologies, but also, to help them develop both their motor and logical thinking abilities through educational games. The children that participated in this course are from the Children’s Center “Casinha de Abelha” at the UNESP -Araraquara and also from the Municipal Recreation and Educational Centers also in Araraquara, SP, Brazil. The software resources used in this course to teach computer skills are the educational games “Coelho Sabido Maternal”, “A Estrela Cintilante” and “Festa dos Dentinhos”. The children’s learning and the level of difficulty in using the computer as a tool were evaluated. It was possible to conclude that the course has been contributing to the digital inclusion of children aged 5-7 years old, in addition to training their visual and audio perception, their motor coordination and memorization, hence developing skills that are essential to the children’s literacy process.

Knowledge of professionals from public service on oral health promotion for babies

Health promotion seeks to integrate oral health practices to other public health, by building healthy public policy and the development of strategies directed to all people in the community. This study aimed to analyze the knowledge and actions on the infants’ oral health promotion by dentists, pediatricians and nurses. Were interviewed dentists (n=34), pediatricians (n=31) and nurses (n=26) from Basic Health Units, Family Health Units and Centers for Education and Recreation in Araraquara - SP about knowledge and actions on oral health promotion for infants, by filling out a pre-tested questionnaire. Data were analyzed by association tests. Generally, the professionals are aware of and perform actions on oral health promotion for infants. Most participants were female; mean age of 39.9 years, worked in Basic Health Units, had over 10 years of graduation, demonstrated knowledge on and considered oral health promotion in infants very important. The time since graduation and actions on oral health promotion for infants were associated (p<0.05) with issues concerning the use of dental floss. That most of the professionals who participated in this study know about, take actions on oral health promotion for infants and consider them crucial.

Os objetos lúdicos em salas de aula com crianças de ensino fundamental de 1º ao 5º ano

The playful objects challenge and support the child to the playful action. These actions leverage the use of imagination and fantasy, necessary skills throughout our life. These objects are ways to create situations and play day by day. Games and toys are also augmenting resources of learning processes in various areas of knowledge. However, this process does not occur spontaneously, there is a need of scientific knowledge for selection and use of these resources in educational formal processes, especially in schools. The objective of this study was to identify, classify and analyze the play material performance of a primary school of the Municipal System of Education from Bauru-SP. To attain the goal, became a literature review in indexed data bases and printed materials. Subsequently, based on the theoretical references, tools for collection and analysis of data were developed, enabling the triangulation of data collected and analyzed for the closest to the reality studied. The instruments for collecting and analyzing data: a) survey and identification of playful collection based on COL (KOBAYSHI, 2009), b) questionnaire with school teachers and c) field observations. The survey results and the triangulation of sources allowed better characterization of the collection available at the school and their uses as resources and education and recreation procedures

Aspectos relevantes na sistematização das atividades recreativas: visão do profissional

Este estudo, de natureza qualitativa, teve por objetivo investigar os aspectos relevantes que direcionam a opção e a organização das atividades propostas durante as vivências com recreação, aplicadas no âmbito do lazer por profissionais coordenadores de hotéis, de acampamentos e atuantes do programa Super-férias oferecido pelo SESI (Sistema S, focalizando-se, especificamente, o SESI de Rio Claro). Para tanto, o estudo constituiu-se da união de pesquisa bibliográfica e pesquisa exploratória, durante a qual foi utilizada entrevista semi estruturada, como instrumento para coleta de dados. Os dados foram analisados descritivamente, por meio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temático, tendo sido criados 3 eixos temáticos: Intervenção Profissional, Atividades Recreativas e Participantes. Os resultados apontam para a necessidade de um perfil geral e específico, para atuar com recreação, sendo que algumas características surgem como primordiais,como, pró atividade, responsabilidade e boa comunicação. Notou-se que existem carências na atuação profissional, às vezes, devido à qualificação, seja, em âmbito acadêmico, seja, dentro dos próprios estabelecimentos, que utilizam métodos de treinamento que ocasionam na perda dos aspectos pedagógicos inerentes às atividades, tendo em vista que, embora os elementos pedagógicos estejam presentes, eles não são compreendidos, pelos profissionais, em sua totalidade, tornando a atuação do profissional praticista. Quanto à elaboração de atividades recreativas, percebeu-se a presença de alguns valores educacionais, porém, nem sempre permeiam efetivamente durante a prática profissional. Notou-se ainda, nas atividades, a existência de estruturas básicas, com objetivos pré-estabelecidos, organização e execução planejados. A produção do conhecimento na área do lazer: uma análise sobre as temáticas formação e atuação profissional nos Anais do Enarel de 1997 a 2006

The present study’s aim was to check the academic-scientific productions conveyed in the several versions of the National Meeting on Recreation and Leisure (Enarel) to find out what courses have been taken within the studies on leisure regarding professional education and performance. Through literature review, the study adopted a qualitative methodology and its method was an exploratory study of the period ranging from 1997 to 2006. One hundred and thirty six works (oral communications or free subjects) were analyzed in a quali-quantitative approach. Results show that 50% of the works were produced collectively; as to the institutions, 77.02% of them were linked to academic institutions; regarding methodology, it was found that 58% explicitly presented the kind of research performed, and the most used methods were the “comparative studies”, with 26.11%, followed by “case studies”, with 14.17%.

Vazios preenchíveis requalificação das margens dos córregos existentes no município de Novo Horizonte - SP

Este trabalho final de graduação apresenta uma proposta de requalificação de espaços residuais situados à margem dos dois córregos existentes na cidade de Novo Horizonte, São Paulo. As áreas abordadas nesse estudo possuem a inexistência de infraestrutura e manutenção como característica em comum; e também, dentro do Plano Diretor Municipal, serem consideradas Áreas de Especial Interesse Ambiental, Urbanístico e para Utilização Pública. Porém, na maioria das vezes, essas áreas não se encontram ociosas do ponto de vista das ações antrópicas, que improvisam os próprios equipamentos e realizam atividades de lazer, esporte e recreação. Outro ponto abordado nesse trabalho foi a revitalização de um galpão abandonado há dezesseis anos, onde funcionava uma concessionária, que por motivos diversos acabou se tornando uma cicatriz na cidade. Nesse espaço, situado em uma área onde se aplica o direito de preempção, foram pensadas ações projetuais que proporcionassem novas e boas memórias para os cidadãos. Assim, o projeto teve como conceito a organização das atividades existentes, qualificando e estruturando os locais para sua prática, atendendo às necessidades da população de várias faixas etárias e criando uma continuidade dos equipamentos, criando novos locais para mobilidade e permanência, e também a incorporação de novas práticas importantes, como a preservação e manutenção dos locais construídos

Use of music and play in pediatric nursing care in the hospital context

Objective. To identify and analyze scientific publications on the use of music and play in pediatric nursing care in the hospital context. Method. In this bibliographic study, papers were sought that were published in Portuguese or English between 2004 and 2009 and included the descriptors: hospitalized child, childhood, child recreation, nursing team, nursing, pediatric nursing, alternatives therapies, music, music therapy, play and playthings, play therapy, playing. For the review, the bibliographic databases used were MEDLINE, ScIELO and LILACS. Results. Seventeen publications were obtained, among which: 59% adopted a quantitative method; mainly nursing developed the activities (88%); per type of article, reviews on the theme and assessments of clinical changes associated with the use of music and play were frequent (59% and 18%, respectively); and the utility of this kind of therapies in nursing care is acknowledged (94%). Conclusion. Play and music are useful therapies that can be used in nursing care for pediatric patients.
