The current work aims to analyze the contributions of PIBID for initial graduation of the teachers, in view of the undergraduates of Physics Course at UNESP Guaratinguetá . A brief literature survey about the national situation of teacher education was performed, at which the main difficulties and challenges, as well as the solutions stated in place by the government to solve them, have been highlighted. A description of the historical of PIBID at UNESP, from the institutional project to reach the subproject developed by Physics Course of Guaratinguetá, was presented. To characterize the development of the subproject, it was performed a survey on the activities performed by the PIBID’s scholars, since its implementation on campus in 2010 until the end of the year 2013, in order to map the experiences lived by program participants. These data were obtained from the analysis of reports by scholars themselves, video analyzes and record of the weekly meetings held by the group, reading electronic messages exchanged on a specific group of e-mails and written evaluations by members of the program. Completing data collection, eleven scholars undergraduates of the program were interviewed, and the results were classified by topics, defined from recurrence in the interviewees speech. The global analysis of the data was based on theoretical references commonly used in research on graduation of teachers, as Nóvoa (1992), Mizukami (2005, 2006) and Gatti (2008). The results indicate that the licensed ones see in PIBID a differentiated opportunity for initial teaching graduation, for adding practical learning experiences for students of EB within the school context, and especially for creating space for reflection on their experiences with the support of more experienced teachers, committed to the training of all involved ones

The experimentation in the teaching of physics has been extensively studied over the years because of its potential as a tool demonstration of physics phenomena studied in classroom. In such a perspective view of the action of apprentice student involving teaching future teachers of physics, under the Program PIBID CAPES, developed since 2009, seeks ways to improve the teaching of physics experiments using the theme chosen for the electrostatic work was . In this particular work, we report the development of the project in a State School located in the city of Rio Claro, in two rooms in the 9th grade in elementary school. It is planned with the activities of teaching physics at this level of education, look at how two different ways of displaying the contents of electrostatics in a playful way for elementary students and implement a library of experiments so that students can take the experiments to their homes

O ambiente virtual está cada vez mais presente na vida do ser humano e, por este motivo, não se pode negligenciar a perspectiva de que os jogos eletrônicos possam ser encampados no contexto das aulas de Educação Física, com as devidas adaptações, proporcionando novas práticas, as quais sejam atraentes, no sentido de ampliar as perspectivas de adesão ao movimento e minimizar as condições do sedentarismo. Desta forma, este trabalho, de natureza qualitativa, teve como objetivo propor a adaptação de alguns jogos eletrônicos, os quais puderam ser aplicados corporalmente, como novas possibilidades de atividades a serem vivenciadas em aulas de Educação Física, bem como, investigar os níveis de estado de ânimo e de satisfação dos alunos frente às aulas que utilizaram esses jogos eletrônicos adaptados. O estudo foi desenvolvido por intermédio da união de pesquisas bibliográfica e exploratória. Para tanto, fizeram parte deste estudo uma amostra intencional, composta por 60 alunos, de ambos os sexos, compreendendo a faixa etária de 10 a 15 anos, pertencentes a uma escola da rede oficial de ensino da cidade de Rio Claro/SP, selecionada por conveniência, a qual participou de uma aula, ministrada pela pesquisadora, composta por três jogos eletrônicos adaptados. Para se verificar o estado de ânimo dos alunos, foi aplicada a Lista de Estados de Ânimo Reduzida e Ilustrada (LEA-RI), desenvolvida por Volp (2000), antes e após as aulas. Foi aplicado, ainda, um questionário contendo perguntas abertas, com o intuito de se verificar o nível de satisfação dos alunos em relação aos jogos eletrônicos adaptados. Os dados foram analisados por meio da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temático. The difficulties related to physics teaching are related to methodology, that hinder learning, because some physical concepts beyond the common sense of most students. Just as poor training of some physics instructors in teaching is pedagogical difficulties. And also factors of infrastructure, heterogeneity in students' previous training etc.. It is proposed aim of this work to use reflection of teaching practice as a methodology. Practiced in a private school, mostly state and, in high school in Rio Claro. The method consists of preparing a daily pedagogical practice in parallel to the development of teaching, for analysis and identification of factors that result in improving the teaching of physics and physics teacher qualification

In this work, it was studied the effects of the experimentation in the physics teaching. Beginning from the theoretic reference and discussions, the objective was prove the efficiency of researches of this nature related to two main aspects of a class: The aroused interest in the students and the facilitating action on the understanding of the theory. For such objective, using the comparison, it was chosen two distinct classes, but the more similar possible, so that, in one of them, it was showed a tradition class, lectures and in another, a class using experimentation to contemplate the theory. To manage a way to rate these aspects, it was made a conceptual questionnaire, requiring only concepts rather than mathematics and equations, besides specific interviews to rate the opinion of the student related to each method. The observations in classes and of the reactions of the students also were of a big value to analysis. After the experimental class completed, it may analyze and conclude some positive points related to experimental methods: As for the opinion of the students, the approval was big, and the majority opined to this class as being “more interesting”. On the point of view of learning, it had a sensitive improvement of grades, but with more mature answers, deep and autonomous, if looking at a general vision

The objective the work at hand has is to discuss the dropouts of students from the major Physics in the campus of Guaratinguetá – UNESP. A survey has been made about the number of graduated and evaded students of each class since 1989, year that this course was created, until the year 2011. For this purpose, lists were collected from the section of graduation of the university, in which you will find names, year of entry, way of entry and situation of each students already enrolled in the course. Data about the dropouts of other courses of Physics at UNESP were also collected, in order to compare with the results from the unity of Guaratinguetá. Besides that, the results from researches about the lack of physics professors in the country were also taken into consideration. Some of this research sought to identify the main reasons of dropouts from the students of Physics. The data collected indicates that the dropout of this course in the campus of Guaratinguetá is higher when compared to the dropouts of others in this institution. It’s also true that the dropout rates haven’t changed significantly over the years, the average being 66.2% in the period between 1989 and 2007. However, the reason for the dropouts has changed of the years, dropouts to change for other majors increased, especially after 2005, being responsible for almost half of the dropouts in the last three years. The survey with the enrolled students of 2012 showed that this is a group of young students that don’t work and many of them have enrolled with the intension to transfer to other courses. These data contradicts the results of some researches that point out difficulties for students to reconciling work with study as one of the main causes of the dropouts. This study aimed to analyze the relationships – some already established and others that are still necessary – between the obligatory curriculum component Physical Education and the textbooks, understood as materials that assist both teachers and students during the teaching and learning process. In this way, we focused the discussion on some topics that have enabled a greater understanding of textbooks for Education in general and for School Physical Education more specifically, taking into account their specific characteristics. There were also some understandings about School Physical Education in Brazilian contemporary society as well as some official regiments about this curriculum component. Finally, it was elaborated some propositions that seek to generate interlacements to a deeper comprehension about textbooks in Physical Education classes. We concluded that although there are (few) textbooks in the area and some curriculum proposals from different Brazilian States that quest new ways of conceiving the teaching and learning process of School Physical Education, it is important to have more understandings about the roles of these materials in the pedagogical practice, as well as studies that can enable ways to treat this curricular component that could contribute to the critical and reflective educational practice during the years of schooling in Basic Education

As aulas de Educação Física escolar apontam para um cenário recorrente e ao mesmo tempo inaceitável: a inatividade feminina. Essa realidade surge como um marco negativo, uma vez que as conquistas femininas no “universo” do movimento estão consolidadas. Entretanto, essas conquistas podem não significar uma relação de equidade entre os sexos. Baseado nisso, pretendeuse investigar a prática pedagógica de dois professores de Educação Física no trato das questões de gênero e da inatividade feminina. A pesquisa realizada teve como abordagem a metodologia qualitativa de caráter descritivo. Foram observadas aulas de Educação Física de dois professores da rede pública de ensino da cidade de Rio Claro. Após o período de observação foi aplicada uma entrevista para as meninas, a fim de dialogar sobre a problemática da relação de gênero. Para essa coleta utilizou-se um gravador de voz para registrar a entrevista, que depois foi transcrita. Como resultado observou-se que as aulas acontecem predominantemente sem a interação entre os sexos, há um domínio simbólico masculino que faz com que meninos dominem o tempo e espaço da aula. Na entrevista as meninas mostraram-se contrárias a interação com os meninos, muitas vezes por motivos físicos, sendo assim, as práticas na Educação Física escolar estão permeadas de conteúdos que exigem rendimento. Conclui-se que há carência nas aulas de Educação Física de práticas coeducativas, o que ocasiona um aumento na distância entre os sexos, descaracterizando a condição igualitária que a escola deveria proporcionar e fazendo com que os corpos femininos neguem a interação com o sexo oposto, tanto por motivos biológicos, como por razões motoras.

The Gymnastic as a manifestation of the Body Culture Movement should be part of the contents worked in scholar Physical Education, throughout the process of Basic teaching. However, according to studies conducted by researchers from academic Gymnastics school knowledge involving the gymnastics have been tentatively taught in school by numerous factors. For this, the objective of this research was to understand and analyze the opinion of students in middle and high school about gymnastics classes developed with the involvement of graduation scholarship holder and the coordination of the project Gymnastics Goes to School from the UNESP/Campus Rio Claro “Núcleos de Ensino”, in 2012. This research used a questionnaire with topics about the Gymnastic with options: Never Practiced, Like a Lot, Like, Am Indifferent, Dislike, Hate with a space for writing and drawing, relevant to the research objectives. The research was performed with 79 students in middle and high school. With data analysis, it was observed that the students identified themselves more with the Artistic Gymnastic, followed by Rhythmic and Acrobatic Gymnastic and, at last, the General Gymnastic, both through the questionnaire and trough the drawings, which goes against the results from the article published in 2010 by Pereira et al, entitled The students detest the contents gymnastic in physical education classes: motives and alternatives, where the students understand the gymnastics activities only as support, abdominal and stretching. Therefore, to have a real understanding of gymnastics in school, there is a need for teachers to explain and develop the contents gimmicks, so the students could understand the difference among Gymnastics activities and, at the same time, discovering the pleasures of this body practice

O presente trabalho visa, em meio à crise de identidade que se instaura na Educação Física desde décadas – do seu início oficial em 1851 com a Reforma Couto Ferraz até os dias de hoje onde se fala em Cultura Corporal (de Movimento) – , enquanto área do conhecimento, explorar seu contexto e constituição históricosocial, perpassar por suas principais abordagens, principalmente no que tange à Educação Física Escolar e promover o entendimento da origem da perspectiva cultural, tal qual tem sido veiculada nos principais documentos oficiais que definem a constituição da área e sua práxis. Nesse sentido, aborda-se o contexto higienista/eugenista, onde se buscava uma educação do físico que o prevenisse de doenças e o purifcasse, com profundas influências militares; o contexto nacionalista, na intenção do aperfeiçoamento físico e aprimoramento das funções orgânicas, atrelado às questões de ordem moral e cívica; escolanovista, que proporcionou uma visão não só embasada biologicamente, mas se atentou à fatores psicológicos da criança; o contexto da ditadura militar, fortemente associado ao Esporte e a visibilidade internacional que ele acarretava ao país, inclusive, remetendo à Educação Física ao binômio Educação Física/Esporte; e o contexto que, a partir de década de 80, vem tentando instaurar uma Educação Física mais humana, sem deixar de lado questões relativas à saúde. É a partir dessa última década que o tema será aprofundado, apresentando-se alguns conceitos de “cultura” trazidos e utilizados pelas ciências sociais para, posteriormente, explanar como a Educação Física se apropria de tais conceitos para justificar-se enquanto conteúdo curricular obrigatório, no contexto escolar. There are considerations of that the education of Physics of the way as comes being driven us textbooks and consequently in classroom, is distant and distorted of their real purpose. We notice that the education of this science through the Physical school discipline, has I assume a character of preparation for university entrance exams exercises resolution, exceling for the memorization of formulae and by the mathematical solutions, fact that looks to cause to it is lacking of motivation and to the disinterest of the students regarding his contents. Since we are surrounded by phenomena, events, elements of the nature, new technologies, objects and so many others that can be explained and many times until applied and/or reproduced by means of physical concepts, there is no reason for treat to Physical as somewhat academic and remote of the reality. The little interest of high school students by the discipline of Physics and their poor performance in the learning of his contents has led to the search of new paths, resources and strategies that promote a more meaningful learning. Taking into account these facts, we seek in this course conclusion work, observe, analyze and apply concepts of the Physical one in multiple elements of ours routine, doing use of the interdisciplinary nature as a possible mechanism. The animals exert a fascination on most people. Much of what we see in their way of being and behaving can be explained by the laws of Physics and its models. Their physique, behavior and activities involve diverse movements, communication and sensing as physical limitations varied. Zoologists and physicists build models in an attempt to explain or understand animal behavior using well-established physical principles. O salto triplo existe há mais de 2000 anos e foi praticado, primeiramente, pelo povo celta, isto é, antigos habitantes da Europa Ocidental. Essa prova era praticada em competições esportivas rurais e expandiu-se pelo resto da Europa no século XIX. Atualmente, o Brasil serve como referência para outros países, já que tivemos grandes atletas que marcaram presença no cenário olímpico do salto triplo como, por exemplo, Adhemar Ferreira da Silva, Nelson Prudêncio e João Carlos de Oliveira. Apesar de ser uma das provas do atletismo mais antigas, o salto triplo ainda é muito pouco trabalhado em escolas de todo o país. Por essa razão, essa pesquisa, de caráter histórico-bibliográfico, tem como objetivo realizar um resgate histórico dessa prova, reunindo dados e informações pertinentes relacionados ao salto triplo. Nesse sentido, foram realizadas pesquisas no acervo de universidades como Unesp (Rio Claro), Unicamp e PUC-Campinas, além de web sites, com livros e artigos digitalizados, e registros diversos que pudessem contribuir para a elaboração desse trabalho. Esperamos, portanto, além de realizar o resgate histórico dessa prova, subsidiar o trabalho de professores de Educação Física no âmbito escolar, para que o ensino do salto triplo e do atletismo de forma geral se difunda e conquiste mais espaço nas escolas brasileiras

Dentre as várias instituições das quais o ser humano participa, a escola é uma das mais importantes responsáveis pela construção da representação de quem somos. O educando é o objetivo maior da escola, mas na especificidade da Educação Física que, em geral, é totalmente desvinculada do projeto educacional das escolas, muito pouco tem sido feito, na prática, no sentido de educar os alunos “para a vida. Assim, esse trabalho tem como finalidade implementar aulas de Educação Física que contribuam para a formação do cidadão, e para isto foram elaboradas e desenvolvidas aulas que abordem o conteúdo handebol nas suas três dimensões: conceitual, procedimental e atitudinal. O método utilizado foi o da pesquisa-ação que, de natureza qualitativa, tem como característica o interrelacionamento entre o pesquisador e as pessoas participantes do estudo. As principais dificuldades foram: trabalhar novos conteúdos e a dimensão procedimental, e lidar com o número elevado de alunos. Porém, os momentos de tratar das dimensões conceituais e atitudinais foram muito bem sucedidos.

As lutas se configuram como um conteúdo de alto valor cultural para a educação física escolar, e mesmo assim ainda encontra resistência por parte de alguns professores de educação física em aplicá-las nas escolas. Diante disto foi feito uma pesquisa para avaliar os conteúdos das lutas nas propostas curriculares do Estado de São Paulo, através da analise dos Cadernos do Professor, e feito uma entrevista com 12 professores da Rede Estadual do estado de São Paulo visando saber o que eles haviam achado dos conteúdos da lutas da Proposta Curricular do Estado de São Paulo. Concluiu-se que a maioria achou os conteúdos da proposta curricular pertinente e tem aplicado esses conteúdos nas aulas de educação física escolar, e a proposta tem contribuído para que se minimize as resistências em relação aos conteúdos das lutas no cotidiano escolar.

This study aimed, first, produce a kind of educational materials in audiovisual format, to the Physical Education, addressing the Transversal Themes in view of the basketball. The themes chosen were Cultural Plurality, addressing the basketball in a wheelchair, and Labor and Consumer Affairs, addressing the marketing and exploitation of labor force that the company is Nike. There is no doubt the importance of media production in contemporary society, as one of its main languages, but of little relevance in the school environment, especially in the area of Physical Education. In a second phase aimed at evaluating the feasibility of this material both as a teaching strategy, such as content of learning lessons. The evaluation was made through a discussion in the form of focus groups with 10 students from 9 th grade of elementary school. The results showed that despite an initial rejection of the material as a teaching strategy because of the history that Physical Education has for several years, students were open to new ways of learning. Since the results on the material, such as learning content, showed that the videos were able to address and the Transversal Themes and meet the need for procedural content with the proposed activities. With this, we realize that students are willing to discuss matters that are not always addressed, but now, with the creation of national curriculum standards should be reflected in the classroom
