O auxílio do software Geogebra na aquisição do conhecimento da função seno

This article aims to reflect on the qualitative analysis regarding the modification and the acquisition of new knowledge, as well as to identify the contribution of computer use in an intervention activity. It was used content analysis and it was created categories and units of analysis and from the frames containing the analysis of the categories it was randomly chosen four groups which led to their evaluation. Concerning to such frames of analysis and evaluation of the frequency of the records it was structured a metatext. The result of the analysis has shown the students' difficulty to realize their records, to express their interpretations and understandings in their mathematical activities by using the English language. It was noticed that the activity performed using the software Geogebra, based on the constructionist view, make possible the students to identify the modification and acquisition of new concepts.

A função social do património marítimo português

A lo largo del presente estudio hemos querido definir en profundidad el papel que el patrimonio marítimo portugués ocupa en el seno de la sociedad actual. Nuestro campo de actuación ha sido el de la museología, y nuestro caso de estudio el Museo de la Marina de Lisboa; por eso hemos trabajado con objetos, situaciones, personajes y momentos históricos de características únicas. Para conseguir este objetivo, hemos dividido este trabajo en cuatro apartados. El primero se dedica al estudio de todas aquellas instituciones museológicas y no museológicas que poseen patrimonio marítimo. En el segundo apartado hemos investigado detalladamente la historia del Museo de la Marina de Lisboa con el fin de definir la función social que ha desarrollado a lo largo del tiempo. En tercer lugar nos hemos propuesto la realización de un diagnóstico pormenorizado de la situación actual del Museo. Aquí hemos dado forma al primer estudio de públicos realizado en esta institución. Por último, y a partir de los datos obtenidos, hemos creado toda una estructura museológica cuya aplicación permitiría la actualización del referido proyecto. Como resultado, podemos concluir que la institución en estudio constituye un auténtico fenómeno museológico, no sólo por el atractivo de la temática que aborda, sino también por su localización y las características de sus colecciones. Además, y teniendo en cuenta los variados potenciales que entran en juego, hemos decidido apostar por una actualización de esta realidad museológica, pues tal y como hemos podido confirmar, sabemos que podría desarrollar un función cultural mucho más completa, interesante y variada que la que ha venido realizando hasta ahora. Por eso, nuestro último apartado habla, sobre todo, del futuro.

[Comunicação nas] XVIII Jornadas sobre a função social do museu Idanha-a-Nova - 2008

O mundo da patrimonialização dos objectos e da sua musealização enfrenta hoje novos desafios. Afinal é esse o nosso quotidiano – enfrentar desafios.Estamos agora perante duas entidades sobre as quais muito discutimos nas últimas décadas – o Património e o Turismo. Já suspeitámos muito de ambas. Houve um tempo, há umas décadas atrás, em que alguns de nós separávamos claramente o “património” daquilo que já constituía o espólio museológico, como se os objectos musealizados já não fossem ou nunca tivessem pertencido à categoria de “património”. O alargamento do conceito de património e a sua aceitação quase universal fizeram-nos rectificar o nosso erro.Do “turismo” desconfiámos ainda mais. O turista era o intruso, senão o agressor que nada entendia da “nossa” cultura. E, depois, tínhamos a certeza de que o turismo não era, não poderia ser, a salvação para os problemas da estagnação sócia e económica e, logo cultural, de que padeciam as comunidades num mundo em mudança que elas não entendiam (e, diga-se de passagem, nós também não).

Senão... ao menos: da oração concessiva à locução conjuncional correlativa

A ligação de palavras da mesma função pode ser feita apenas por pausa (justaposição), por uma conjunção (conexão simples) ou por uma locução conjuncional correlativa (conexão enfática ou correlação). A correlação é o processo mais enfático de unir elementos de igual função sintática e pode ser aditiva (não só... mas também), alternativa (ou... ou), diferençativa (não tanto... como, senão... ao menos). SENÃO... AO MENOS apresenta o primeiro elemento como mais importante mas irreal, e o segundo como menos importante mas real.

Produção e qualidade de inflorescências de couve-flor em função da densidade de plantio

Cauliflower is one of the most planted vegetable throughout Brazil, being a very profitable crop. The use of denser plantings can increase crop yield and improve financial returns to producers. This study aimed to verify the combination effect of different spacing between plants in row and between rows on the cauliflower 'Piracicaba Precoce’ inflorescences productivity and quality. In the experiment, a randomized block design was used and treatments consisted in three distances between rows (70, 80 and 90 cm) with three distances between plants in row (50, 60 and 70 cm) and four replications. Total productivity and productivity by inflorescences size classes were assessed as well as the quality by checking the inflorescences’ mass. The row density did not change the produced heads quality, although the density between plants reduced the inflorescences size. The spacing 70 x 50 cm, totalizing 28,571 plants per ha, due the higher productivity, greater than 14.0 t ha-1 , and still not compromise the inflorescence size can be recommended to the cauliflower "Piracicaba Precoce” production in the region.

Condições de equilíbrio termodinâmico: a função disponibilidade

The thermodynamic equilibrium is a state defined by conditions which depend upon some characteristics of the system. It requires thermal, mechanical, chemical and phase equilibrium. Continuum thermodynamics, its radical restriction usually called homogeneous processes thermodynamics, as well as the classical thermodynamic science of reversible processes, each of them defines equilibrium in a differing way. But these definitions lead to the same physical contents.

Estimativa de bem-estar de frango de corte em função da concentração de amônia e grau de luminosidade no galpão de produção

Brazil is an important poultry meat export country, and large parts of its destination are countries with specific rearing restrictions related to broiler s welfare. One of the aerial pollutants mostly found in high concentrations in closed poultry housing environment is ammonia. There are evidences that broilers welfare may be compromised by the continuous exposition to this pollutant in rearing housing. This research aimed to estimate broilers welfare reared under specific thermal environmental attributes and bird s density, as function of the ammonia concentration and light intensity inside the housing environment using the Fuzzy Theory. Results showed that the best welfare value (0.89 in the scale: 0-1) approximately 90% of the ideal was found in the conditions that associated the ideal thermal environment, with bird s density between 13-15 birds m-2, with values of the ammonia concentration in the environment below 5 ppm, and light intensity near 1 lx. Using the predictive method it was possible to estimate broilers welfare with relation to the ammonia concentration and light intensity in the housing.

Utilização dos testes de função tireoidiana na prática clínica

Laboratory tests are essential for accurate diagnosis and cost-effective management of thyroid disorders. When the clinical suspicion is strong, hormonal levels just confirms the diagnosis. However, in most patients, symptoms are subtle and unspecific, so that only biochemical tests can detect the disorder. The objective of this article is to do a critical analysis of the appropriate use of the most important thyroid function tests, including serum concentrations of thyrotropin (TSH), thyroid hormones and antithyroid antibodies. Through a survey in the MedLine database, we discuss the major pitfalls and interferences related to daily use of these tests and recommendations are presented to optimize the use of these diagnostic tools in clinical practice.

Função vísuo-espacial em paralisia cerebral e proposta de novo teste com a ajuda de computador

The first idea of this study is trat there may be a disturbance of the visuo-spatial function in cerebral palsy. This idea is based upon the theories of Luria and Piaget. The second idea of this study is that the computer can help the investigation of visuo-spatial function. With the intention of evaluating the spatial function in cerebral palsy, the literature related to these themes was revised. We justify the proposal of a new test to study visuo-spatial function. This test uses straight lines in four different orientations and the subject has to recognize and arrange them individually or sets of them. This was done through the use of pencil and papel, and computer. The results confirm that there is a spatial disturbance and that a better understanding of the subject's difficulties was made possible through the use of the computer and the Logo computer language.
