En el presente trabajo de investigación se desarrollará el tema: “El rol de la cultura espiritual en la eficiencia organizacional. El caso de la Comunidad de Taizé". El tema fue elegido por curiosidad e interés en el funcionamiento de una organización sin fines de lucro situada en la ciudad de Lyon, al sur de Francia llamada “Comunidad de Taizé". Al conocer el testimonio de un allegado que tuvo la oportunidad de vivir allí durante un período de tres meses en el año 2011, surgió el interés por mirar las teorías de la administración en una organización de índole espiritual, por tratarse de un caso que no ha sido analizado durante la carrera.

The present work has as main objective the identification and impact analysis for the practice ITIL in the organizational flexibility of a multinational IT company, being this study of quali-quantitative and exploratory nature. To achieve this objective, some theoretical studies on bureaucracy, organization flexibility, control, IT governance and ITIL were done, as a form to better understand the research problem. For analysis effect a set of eleven ITIL process was considered in this research ¿ service desk, incident management, problem management, change management, configuration management, release management, service level management, availability management, capacity management, continuity management and finally IT financial services management ¿ grouped in its two core areas ¿ service support and service delivery. Then a scale was constructed and validated, on the basis of theoretical models developed by Volberda (1997), Tenório (2002) and Golden and Powell (1999), to measure the flexibility related to each process comprising the ITIL core. The dimensions adopted to measure flexibility were: organization design task, managerial task, IT impact on work force, HR management, efficiency impact, sensitivity, versatility and robustness. The instrument used in research was a semi-structured interview, which was divided in two parts. The data collection was performed with ten interviewed people from an IT multinational company, based on convenience, some were managers and there were users, some were ITIL certified and others not. The statistic tests of t student and Wilcoxon non-parametric were adopted. The result of the research indicated that the ITIL service support area, for possessing greater operational focus, presents flexibility trend. The opposite was found for the service delivery area, which has greater tactical focus. The results also suggest that the change management discipline was the one that contributed for the most flexibility inside the company, followed by incident management discipline and the service desk function.

El desarrollo de la presente tesis busca la comprensión del aporte que brindan los conceptos: inteligencia emocional y liderazgo transformador en la formación y desarrollo de equipos efectivos de trabajo. Ambos elementos son relevantes para lograr una buena gestión de trabajo individual y de equipo, que favorezca la eficiencia organizacional y las relaciones interpersonales. Desde la perspectiva laboral, tanto el liderazgo transformador como la inteligencia emocional generan en las personas sentido de pertenencia a la organización, promueven su desarrollo profesional y personal, mejoran su satisfacción y actitud logrando un adecuado trabajo de equipo. La inteligencia emocional es la capacidad de entender los sentimientos propios y de los demás para generar respuestas adecuadas. El liderazgo transformador es el conjunto de habilidades y destrezas de un individuo para gestionar, estimular o motivar a un equipo favoreciendo el cumplimiento de objetivos comunes. Finalmente, a través de la correlación entre las variables inteligencia emocional y liderazgo transformador, se buscará entender el nivel de efectividad de los equipos de alto rendimiento en la fuerza comercial de microfinanzas CREDI FE Zona Quito.

A inserção do princípio da eficiência na Constituição Federal de 1988 vem provocando a necessidade de melhor atuação e aperfeiçoamento dos Tribunais de Contas no Brasil, visando ao melhor atendimento das demandas da sociedade. O desenvolvimento de ações para o acompanhamento dessas demandas é de suma importância para o fortalecimento dos órgãos de controle externo, cuja credibilidade depende da eficiência e da eficácia com que respondem às demandas sociais. A presente pesquisa analisou até que ponto o uso de tecnologia de informação emprestou eficiência ao atendimento de demandas da sociedade pelo Tribunal de Contas do Estado de Pernambuco. Quanto à metodologia, a pesquisa foi descritiva, de campo e estudo de caso. O universo foi composto pelos servidores do Tribunal de Contas do Estado de Pernambuco, sendo utilizadas duas populações amostrais. Os dados foram coletados por entrevistas e questionário e tratados com abordagem qualitativa e estatística descritiva. Verificou-se que, apesar dos avanços já alcançados na gestão administrativa do órgão, inclusive com a disseminação do uso de tecnologia de informação, há uma carência de aprimoramento no recebimento e no acompanhamento das demandas recebidas. Identificou-se que a disponibilização de informações gerenciais sobre essas demandas repercutirá na eficiência administrativa da instituição. O estudo sugere um conjunto de ações que podem ser implantadas e desenvolvidas no Tribunal de Contas do Estado de Pernambuco, com o objetivo de elevar a sua eficiência administrativa no atendimento às demandas sociais. Para identificação de um referencial de boas práticas, visando à implementação de mudanças, foi utilizada a tecnologia de gestão benchmarking. A unidade que serviu como parâmetro foi a Ouvidoria do próprio Tribunal, com realização de benchmarking interno e de processo

This study aims to assess the implementation of Lean Six Sigma in the preparation of plates and hot lamination process for a company of aluminum rolled products, to improve the quality, productivity and process efficiency. As a basis for achieving these goals, the DMAIC methodology and various quality tools such as Cause Effect Diagram, Process Flow, SIPOC, Pareto, FMEA and Control Chart were used, trying to propose improvements to processes and increase their efficiency. The results were significant and were the basis for the continuation of a continuous improvement project throughout the factory

The Lean Thinking is a method used by various industries in order to eliminate waste and ensure quality for the customer. In the current scenario, Lean has been used in other areas such as the hospital in which many tools are being adopted in order to improve its internal processes. One such tool is the Value Stream Mapping, which proved to be an effective tool in industrial environments, and is being adopted by several hospitals. Thus, this paper presents a case study on the use of this tool in a sector of a hospital in the Vale do Paraíba, evaluating its importance, its impacts, positive and negative points and future projections. This is in the context of Lean Healthcare, a new model based on the principles of Lean Thinking which has been adopted by several hospitals and clinics throughout Brazil successfully

This is study proposes to evaluate the ergonomic aspects of dental equipments. Based on the characteristics proposed by ISO/FDI, on the existing literature and related researches an evaluating system was devised. Thirty nine dental clinics were examined using the 165 pointssystem proposed, distributed in 12 criteria. None of the dental clinics examined showed a bad ergonomics level, 41% were good and 59% reached excellent levels. The point-supported evaluation system proposed is effective in the analysis of the ergonomic conditions of dental equipments, allowing a quantification of their characteristics. Using this system, the dentist can also know the level of ergonomic satisfaction existing in his equipment, and identify the conditions to be improved. It was concluded that the equipment belonging to dental workplaces evaluated had excellent level of compliance, however corrective measures are needed since even the presence of a few non-conforming items is a sufficient condition to cause injury to users, decreased efficiency and comfort and loss quality of service

The expansion of the electrical system is currently a subject of great importance to the development of Brazil. For its realization, large projects are needed, requiring large-scale investment and realization processes of great complexity. Thus, this type of project has a high strategic importance for the performance of companies that conduct. Seeking a way to determine a method to align traditional practices for measuring quality to the corporate strategic needs, this work is the study of the use of the balanced scorecard methodology, applying quality management and operational excellence, with a focus on projects in power systems. We analyzed some cases of successful application of the methodology in business segments in the next study, culminating in a proposed model of the method

Many companies have invested substantial resources in recent years in implementing the Balanced Scorecard, a strategic management tool that embraces not only financial perspectives, but also three other perspectives that create an overall and long-term vision of the company. The purpose of this article is to analyze, through interviews and action research, the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard in a provider of information technology and suitability for the company area Alliances and Channels, identifying determinants factors that exist in the literature and contributing to a greater understanding around this strategic management tool. The study shows that the implementation of the company was not successful, but the area of Alliances and Channels suit tool in order to find good results and two new determinants, other than those existing in the literature, were found

Desde mediados del siglo XX, las demandas del mundo de los negocios se fueron tornando cada vez más complejas. A consecuencia del incremento de la volatilidad surgió la necesidad de tomar decisiones en un contexto altamente incierto. Frente a esta nueva situación, las formas tradicionales de organización no se consideraban totalmente eficaces. A menudo, conducían a la duplicación de tareas y estructuras, provocando de este modo ineficiencias económicas y diferencias de criterios. De este modo, se debe enfrentar la necesidad de coordinar operaciones muy diversas, en mercados con alto dinamismo y escenarios inciertos, lo que conlleva al desarrollo de modelos organizacionales de mayor complejidad 1. Dicha motivación, lleva a plantearnos la siguiente hipótesis: “Gestionar adecuadamente los recursos humanos en una estructura basada en proyectos tiende a incrementar la eficiencia organizacional". La gran incógnita a resolver es: ¿Cómo gestionarlos? El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación es desarrollar herramientas que permitan mejorar el modo en que se gestionan los recursos humanos en PYMES (Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas) que se encuentran estructuradas por proyectos. De modo que para alcanzar dicho objetivo se realizará un análisis teórico de las distintas estructuras organizacionales para conocer las ventajas y desventajas, como también las dificultades que implica gestionar al personal en cada una de ellas.

El presente trabajo revela la importancia de las tareas preejecutivas y confirma que “el desarrollo y aplicación de las etapas de planificación y organización del Proceso Administrativo, permiten mejorar la eficiencia organizacional", puesto que se percibe una mejora en el clima laboral reflejada en el desempeño de las actividades del Ciclo, permitiendo satisfacer las necesidades de la institución, de sus miembros y de los usuarios del servicio de una forma más eficiente. Los objetivos que se persiguen son: identificar y formalizar la misión, visión y valores de la Unidad Estratégica de Negocios (UEN) en su totalidad; diseñar el organigrama que refleje la estructura actual de la UEN, dentro de la institución a la que pertenece; realizar un análisis de los puestos de trabajo del “Ciclo de Seminarios en Sexualidad Humana y Sexología"
