LUCIA MIGUEL PEREIRA E O ENSAÍSMO

This paper aims to make a few remarks about the essayistic character on the construction of the Lucia Miguel Pereira’s critical method, especially regarding the role of intellectual and her notes to the contemporanity. For this, we did a brief research on the gender essay, its history and possibilities of intervention in society by the writers in this genre broadcasted their ideas about society and literature. It also aims to show the main lines that permeated the trajectory critical of the essayist, since her start in the critical universe to the texts of maturity, trying to focus on how the essayistic process helped create both the critical biographies written by Lucia Miguel as the creation of Prosa de Ficção, in which major critical study of her method is presented.
