A gabonaszállítási piac színe és visszája Magyarországon (The pros and contras of the Hungarian cereals transportation market)

A tanulmány a szakirodalomban újszerű kezdeményezésként kísérletet tesz a gabonapiac ellátási láncának felrajzolására, majd annak egyik, a cikk alapkérdése szempontjából kiemelt vetületét, a gabonaszállítási és raktározási problémákat elemzi. Előbbit a piac szereplőitől kvalitatív módon begyűjtött információkkal, utóbbit a szakirodalom alapján mutatja be. A cikk az elemzés után javaslatokkal szolgál ahhoz, hogyan lehetne hazánkban egy integrált gabonapiaci szállítási-raktározási-átrakási rendszert kialakítani. __________ The aim of the article is to present the situation of the Hungarian cereals transport and storage-reloading market and by interconnection, to treat cereals market’s operations systemically. Under this process, the study trace to draw a possible supply chain of the national cereals market up, which is a new initiation in the Hungarian literature. The focus of the article is to analyse transport and storage processes in the cereals market using the framework mentioned above. Transport market is demonstrated on the grounds of a revealing qualitative research, while storage market is brought out by literature. After analysis, the article gives recommendations how to shape an integrated transport and storage-reload system in the Hungarian cereals market.

Derivatív pénzügyi termékek árdinamikája és az új típusú kamatlábmodellek (Interest rate models and the price processes of financial derivatives)

Ennek a cikknek az a célja, hogy áttekintést adjon annak a folyamatnak néhány főbb állomásáról, amit Black, Scholes és Merton opcióárazásról írt cikkei indítottak el a 70-es évek elején, és ami egyszerre forradalmasította a fejlett nyugati pénzügyi piacokat és a pénzügyi elméletet. / === / This review article compares the development of financial theory within and outside Hungary in the last three decades starting with the Black-Scholes revolution. Problems like the term structure of interest rate volatilities which is in the focus of many research internationally has not received the proper attention among the Hungarian economists. The article gives an overview of no-arbitrage pricing, the partial differential equation approach and the related numerical techniques, like the lattice methods in pricing financial derivatives. The relevant concepts of the martingal approach are overviewed. There is a special focus on the HJM framework of the interest rate development. The idea that the volatility and the correlation can be traded is a new horizon to the Hungarian capital market.

A hatalmi viszonyok a világgazdaság és a katonai szektor a XXI. században = Power relations in the world economy and the military sector in 21st century

A bipoláris világrendszer megszűnése a XX. század utolsó évtizedében új helyzetet teremtett a globális politikai és gazdasági viszonyokban, ugyanakkor nem mellékesen a hadiiparban is. A szerző, szem előtt tartva a hatalmi viszonyok jövőbeli elkerülhetetlen átrendeződését, elsősorban a katonai szektor előtt álló, a XXI. századra előrevetíthető kihívásokat, lehetőségeket, a szektor jövőbeli pályáját tekinti át. A hadiiparral kapcsolatban indokolt a hidegháború utáni világ fegyverkezési helyzetének, fegyveres erőinek számbavétele csakúgy, mint a releváns elméleti keretek ismertetése, továbbá a fontos globális szereplők biztonságpolitikájának vizsgálata. A katonai szektor jelenének és jövőjének alapos elemzése nem nélkülözheti a katonai kiadások jelenlegi – a világgazdasági válság által befolyásolt – és a következő évtizedekben várható alakulásának vizsgálatát. Végül, de nem utolsó sorban a szerző áttekinti a XXI. századi haditechnikai forradalom már most látható és a jövőben valószínűsíthető vívmányait, a fontosabb haditechnikai tendenciákat, illetve elemzi a nemzetközi fegyverpiac helyzetét. __________________ The end of the Cold War led to a new situation in global political and economic affairs, as well as in the military sector. The author, taking into consideration the inevitable future power shifts, provides an overview of the challenges, possibilities and future paths of the military sector. Relevant issues include assessing the arms and armed forces of the post-Cold War era, as well as the analysis of theoretical frameworks and the security policies of the important global actors. Understanding the present and the future of the military sector is not possible without the thorough analysis of military expenditures and their likely future trends. The author also overviews the outcomes of the 21st century revolution in military technology and analyses the global arms market.

Sportvállalatok külpiacra lépése - Elméleti alapok

A tanulmány célja, hogy megteremtse a kapcsolatot a sportgazdaságtan és a nemzetközi üzleti gazdaságtan között, felhívva a figyelmet a két terület metszetének jelentőségére. Azt állítjuk, hogy a sportszolgáltatások sajátosságai, az üzleti gazdaságtan fókuszában álló termeléstől való különbözőségük indokolttá teszi a sportvállalatok nemzetközivé válásának vizsgálatát. A tanulmány bemutatja a sportszolgáltatások néhány egyediségét, amelyek a nemzetközivé válás szempontjából is relevánsak, majd a nemzetközivé válás első logikai lépéseként megvizsgálja, hogyan és milyen okból lépnek külpiacra a sportszolgáltatást nyújtó cégek. Miután a sportvállalatok bevételei öt különböző piacról származnak, az egyes piacokon külön tárgyaljuk a nemzetközi terjeszkedés motivációit, és formáit. ----- Abstract: The aim of the study is to connect economics of sports with international business economics while enhancing the significance of the commonalities of the two disciplines. We found that the specialties of sport services, that are profoundly different from the production-centered business economics, highlight the importance of separate scientific analysis of the internationalization of sport companies. The study projects the characteristics of sport services that are relevant regarding the process of sports companies becoming international. Furthermore, it explores the first logical step of internationalization: the reasons of sports companies appearing on foreign markets. Since the revenues of sports companies flow from five different markets, we separately describe the motives and forms of international expansion on each market.

Munkavásárlás vagy dolgozóbérlés? Elmélkedés a munkaviszony közgazdasági értelmezéséről. = Purchase of work or renting of workers?

Munkaszolgáltatások adásvételeként értelmezendő-e a munkaviszony vagy dolgozók bérléseként? A közgazdaság-tudomány álláspontja következetlen: jellemzően dolgozóbérlésnek deklarálja, ugyanakkor ideálisan munkaszolgáltatások adásvételeként gondolja el. Az írás érvelése szerint e következetlenség vélhető oka az abból fakadó szaktudományi dilemma, hogy a tömeges dolgozóbérlés színtereként értelmezett munkaerőpiac versenyzői egyensúlya elvi lehetetlenség. _______ Should the employment relationship be interpreted as a form of purchase of labour services or as one of renting workers? Economics typically portrays it as the latter, but idealizes it as the former. This apparent inconsistency can presumably be attributed to the dilemma arising from the theoretical incompatibility of the core economic concept of competitive equilibrium and the reality of mass renting of people in the labour market.
