Complexation in composite solutions of melanin with 2,4,7-trinitrofluorenone

A feasibility of formation of donor-acceptor charge-transfer (CT) complexes between melanin and 2,4,7-trinitrofluorenone (TNF) being good electron acceptor has been studied in solutions by means of the absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra.
