La educación estatal en Argentina durante el peronismo : El caso de la provincia de Buenos Aires (1946-1955)

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el proceso de formulación y desarrollo de las políticas educativas durante el peronismo, teniendo en cuenta en qué medida intervinieron los actores estatales y no estatales. Nuestro ámbito de observación empírica, la provincia de Buenos Aires, nos permite dialogar con los trabajos efectuados desde un enfoque nacional. Nos interesa realizar un análisis histórico de la interacción entre estado y la sociedad, que tenga en cuenta no solo a los ejecutores sino a sus destinatarios. Se considera que los complejos procesos que rodearon la formulación de las políticas educativas durante esta etapa, se generaron en un contexto en que el gobierno provincial debió adecuar sus acciones a las presiones y demandadas no sólo de diversos actores externos, sino también de las facciones que integraban su trama política interna

Counselors' education in complex contexts with special reference to Latin America

This paper makes reference to the importance lying, at present, on the professional education of counselors. It goes through the history of the different pre-scientific and scientific stages of counseling, and it points out the main representatives in Latin America . It also shows the current state of the specialization, taking as an antecedent some in-depth, widely encompassing research carried out in the European Union in this area. Coincidences and differences are exposed here in terms of professional profiles, university degrees, institutional dependence, up-dating processes and modes of intervention. The current state of postgraduate studies at university is also touched upon, and the different proposals for further education in Latin America are analyzed as well as their dependence upon an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Educational Sciences or Psycho-pedagogy. Finally, this paper places counseling within the complexity and the need to provide all-encompassing and integrative answers which require a wide and deep enough education so as to answer all these issues and problems.

Investigation project: Representations about the professional role of recently graduated from the psychology career, state University of La Plata : Its relation with job insertion and performance

In this paper we present a research that took place between 2010 and 2012 included in an investigation scholarship awarded by the State University of la Plata. It is about the problem with the transition between college and professional work. It is a part of the produced studies on the importance of social representations as factors that impact on the performance of specific activities. In this case it's about finding out the relations given among the representations about graduated professional role of the Psychology career and its job insertion and performance. The theoretical framework corresponds to Social Psychology and Guidance theories. Methodologically this is an exploratory and descriptive study, based on the 'triangulation' conception, of multiple type, that allows combining in the same investigation, different strategies, theoretical perspectives and sources; however qualitative techniques were prioritized to analyze data. Finally there are some considerations about the social representations concerning to the professional performance, mainly in the clinical field associated to education, and also to the problems of both situations over other fields
