Políticas públicas para a educaçao superior no Brasil : Uma análise das políticas de permanência para estudantes cotistas na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS

O trabalho pretende analisar as políticas públicas voltadas para a educaçao superior brasileira, com foco nas açoes de permanência para os estudantes cotistas em universidades públicas. Em especial, intenciona analisar como a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul concebe as açoes de permanência em seu programa de açoes afirmativas. Ademais, procura trazer um panorama do debate sobre educaçao como direito na dimensao jurídica da proteçao legal e na dimensao sociológica, já que na sociedade, nem todos recebem o quinhao equitativo com o mesmo reconhecimento social. Além de uma breve revisao bibliografica, apoia-se na coleta, leitura e tratamento de textos normativos, tais como: resoluçoes, leis, portarias, decretos e decisoes que tratam sobre o assunto

O corpo esportivo e o nacionalismo brasileiro durante a II Guerra Mundial : Uma análise a partir de um jornal da cidade de Vitória/ES/Brasil

Este artigo discute a relaçao entre esporte e nacionalismo, investigando a importância atribuída às práticas esportivas decorrentes desse vínculo. A análise se materializou entre os anos de 1939 e 1945, por meio do jornal "A Tribuna", publicaçao diária da cidade de Vitória, capital do Espírito Santo. Além de o esporte se configurar como uma escola de cultura física, constituiu-se, também, em uma escola de formaçao cívica da juventude, materializando os desejos do governo para a construçao da Naçao brasileira

Uma análise sobre a produção, produtividade e colaboração na Ciência da Informação no Brasil entre os anos 2007 a 2009

This research comprises some considerations about production, productivity and scientific collaboration related to Information Science in geopolitical regions of Brazil, aiming at identifying their macro-level flow and trends. Reports were generated through identification of Information Science postgraduate programs and professors and collaborators who work on them - those reports were synthesized according to programs and regions, from the year of 2007 to 2009. We can conclude that the Southeast and Northeast regions are responsible for the higher production, productivity and collaboration indicators; we can also infer that the expansion of the relationship among different regions may offer the researchers opportunities to establish new partnerships, and to develop researches on emerging subjects in this scientific area

Os jovens agricultores familiares e a reproduçao geracional na agricultura familiar : Estudo de caso dos jovens residentes no município de Faxinal do Soturno - Brasil

This study examines how the youth's Professional projects in new generation of family farmers are prepared and the perspective of reproduction of the familiar mode of production. The sociological task is to specify the distinctive features of the situation of the youth in family farming, seeking to identify the elements considered in the preparation of their professional projects. Qualitative data were produced by a case study of young farmers who lives in the city of Faxinal do Soturno, a municipality belonging to the fourth colony of Italian immigration in Rio Grande do Sul/Brazil. We performed 36 interviews, consisting of open questions, adopting a semi-structured script, wich were examined by de method of content analysis. Among the results, were observed a context marked by professional projects that breaks with the succession of the family farm work. The negative ratings on agricultural work stand out, particularly on issues related to health, salubrity of work and conditions of aging in rural areas. Family and emotional issues, and also specific aspects of the juvenile condition, marked by the pursuit of autonomy and emancipation, permeate the professional projects in development and show a complex analytical framework, wich amplify the explanatory factors of migration of youth.
