An Investigation Into the Adaption of the Induction Furnace for Determining the Equilibrim Diagram of the System Cu2S-FeS

This investigation was started in an effort to find an accurate and efficient method of determining the freezing points of ferrous and cuprous sulphides, mixtures of the two substances, and from this to establish the liquidus line of the equilibrium dia­gram.

The Alloys of Gallium and Indium

Thermal analysis VIPS used to construct cooling and heating curves from which the phase diagram was determined. The data for the entire set of cooling curves were obtained by the use of mercury thermo­meters.
